11:11 Im not sure if you can make this generalization. I think what tends to happen is that higher br planes tend to have more acceleration and thus have a larger turn circle. And because of geometry, a plane turning inside another plane's turn circle can potentially have the opportunity for a gun solution while the outside plane never gets a gun solution, regardless of their turn rate. One example of this is the Q5 Early which has a very impressive 22 deg/s sustained turn rate at 9.3. This in fact is better than the Ariete which only achieves a sustained turn rate of 20 deg/s. However you'd be hard pressed to find a Q5 that would take a rate fight with an Ariete because despite the Q5 having a faster turn rate, it achieves this at a 450 m radius while the Ariete achieves it at a 330 m radius. Meaning that despite completing the circle slower, an Ariete has an easier time getting a gun solution. This is why its important to also keep in mind fight geometry as well as raw plane stats when entering a turn fight. If a plane with a faster turn rate over shoots a plane with a tighter turn circle, the tighter turning plane will get a gun solution if they continue turning. However, if a tighter turning plane overshoots a faster turning plane, the tighter turning plane gets a gun solution first. In ARB, this is why its easier to reverse planes with more energy than you.

I dont play TTAA but I am curious if notching still works there. If so, you should give the AV8B Plus a try. If you hover in place, most TT planes' PD radar ground filter will just filter you out since you are completely stationary, making you immune to radar missiles. That allows you to basically just bring flares, which you can continually dispense. And if they still somehow manage to beam you with their radar, you can just camp a mountain ridge and duck behind it quickly.

Used to be like this. back when I spent like 12 hours a day on the game. Most of my times on dcs now. And everything about modern jets (where I spend most of my time) is terrible wrong in war thunder. and the players are so retarded that any actual tactic doesn't work on them.

Im an RB player but a lot of your foot stomp hard must dos are basic aircraft survival rules. Such as mountains are countermeasures. Dont engage unless theyre engaged, fly to the weakness of your enemys air frame. Stuff like that doesnt change no matter the game, dcs, war thunder w/e
