- I'm late to the Party, ain't I? Well, I just happened to get the idea of Skinner opening the Door before Chalmers even rings the Bell, and following that Train of Thought, this is what I ended up with. It's a bit clumsily put together in under an Hour I think, but I'm also not super competent when it comes to Editing. Overall though I think it turned out quite well. I'm Happy with it, even if there are a few Scenes that would have benefited from better Abilities.
This Meme is kinda dead nowadays tbh, but UA-cam still keeps recommending me dozens of 4 years old Videos about it, so I couldn't help but make this lol. My favourite Part is probably 0:46, that Edit turned out way better than I imagined lol.
There are also a few very subtle Edits in this that I doubt many Viewers will pick up. Mainly that Skinner is additionally already aware when Chalmers is gonna turn away and times his Movements to that (like jumping out of the Window way earlier than usual or running back into his House asap at the End).
So anyways... have Fun I guess? I kinda do whatever I feel like on this Channel and 90%+ of my Videos are unlisted due to purely being archived here, but feel free to look around and see if you can find something you like.
Initial Title was: "Steamed Hams but Skinner already knows the Script for the Dialogues", but as pointed out in the Comments, that's technically not correct since Skinner is still thinking and hesitating too much. I then changed it to "Steamed Hams but Skinner instantly figures out what others will say", but that was a bit... lame? The current Version I kinda like, thanks to duckie for the Idea! If anyone has a better Title Idea, let me know!

Just so you know, I did not cut it out, but it wasn't in the Original that I edited and it didn't bother me, so I didn't bother either to put it pack in.
I'm getting so many Comments lately that this is merely "Skinner is interrupting Chalmers". To those Guys: You don't seem to realize that the Difference is WHEN he's interrupting him. He knows what to answer before hearing the Questions.
Also I get it. Steamed Hams Speedrun Any% WR and whatever. 80% of new Comments are basically just that. There have been some with a creative Spin and those have been hearted and/or liked by me, but it's getting very lame by now.

Perhaps? I don't know. I hadn't seen any Memes about it that were recent by the Time I made it, but I also wouldn't claim that Title without looking into it first^^ Would be cool though! But I highly doubt it.
Okay, ngl, maybe I kinda did it after all.
At least I searched for everything with "Steamed Hams" in its Name that was uploaded to UA-cam between January 2022 and the Upload Date of this Video.
There were the Games made based on this Scene, a Pixel-Art Recreation and some more Versions where the Animation Style switches around, but I actually didn't find any of the more "classic" Memes, if you know what I mean.
So... how damn, did I really pioneer the Renaissance?

the concept of getting a brain infection from telepathic spying is way too raw to have originated from a spoof of the skinner & the superintendent song
The kitchen fire also had the script because it was able to spread right on cue despite Principal Skinner rushing the scene.

The fire actually only gets loaded in the end cutscene, so even the best any% run will have normal fire.
This is just high school theatre class when the try hard kid is paired up with the kid who clearly hates acting.

I like the implication that Chalmers is used to Skinner's mind reading enough to not be surprised or upset when cut off, but hasn't thought to just not say anything at all yet.

Chalmers grunting in confusion because Skinner was immediately answering the door the second he rang the doorbell is an underrated part.
This actually works much better for the fact that he's lying out of his arse. I particularly liked the lines:

Adds some really interesting depth to their relationship. Chalmers seems to respect Seymour just a little bit more when he asserts himself.
I love how he opens the kitchen door to reveal himself looking into his oven.
This is actually pretty realistic because liars will try to convince you that they're not lying before you even accuse them of anything
This kind of flows incredibly well at times, to the point where I genuinely feel like it could have been part of the actual episode.

Loved this part.
The editing on this one is incredibly deft. I have a discord channel dedicated to rating Steamed Hams videos and this version is so smooth it's up there with my favorites. The way Skinner syncs up the ends of sentences the smooth and fast cut of discovering the ruined roast. Also Skinner is the most confident in this video than I've ever seen him before and the way he skips over the "they are obviously grilled" is *chefs kiss*.

Skinner interrupting Chalmer's "Why is there smoke coming out of your oven, Seymour?" actually kinda makes sense. I bet Skinner can think of "that's actually steam!" fast enough to do that.
I like the vibe that Chalmers knew it was going to be like this regardless but he still can't quiet stop from being caught off guard from time to time.
