Alternate Title: Steamed Hams But They Both Keep Reading The Script A big thanks to my patreon supporters: 🍔Dude 🍔Johnny B Goode 🍔asdfsadf 🍔Lee Pilich / jvanedits
She didn't forget. All the delays due to everyone umm-ing and ah-ing, forgetting their lines and checking their scripts (including her) caused her to pass out from extra smoke inhalation.
*GASP* "Oh egads, My script is ruined!" "...But what if, I were to steal Krusty's script and disguise it as my own doing? Oh ho ho, delightfully devilish Seymour."
Chalmers: I just feel like my character would KNOW that it was smoke in the oven, he wouldn't just leave the room without questioning it. Director: Just do it.

I feel like I’m watching a piece of history. The first time this legendary skit was ever performed. To think, they’d go on to spend the next month perfecting it…
0:32 I like the little detail of how he didnt have to read it for "oh ho ho ho delightfully devilish Seymour" because you know that he was just WAITING to do that line the whole time. If nothing else that's locked in.
Caught a Pokemon the other day with the ability Parental Bond that knew Overheat, Nasty Plot, Bulk Up and Strange Steam (Learned Yawn and Inferno through levelling). Nicknamed it Seymour.
This was fantastic. One of the best ideas I've seen. Amazing editing with all the scripts. Loved the part where he showed Skinner the script instead of the hamburger lol
CAESAR! THE CITY IS ON FIRE!
Nero: Yes!
Rome 😂
2:52
Yes, and you call them professionals when they are obviously amateurs.
well amateurs love their stuff and at least sometimes are better than "professionals", the term you are looking for is "Layman" :P
Ya- ya know- one thing I should... excuse me for one second. Proceed to leave the room.
@@captainbeatdown6254 AHHHHH That was wonderful good night and all I am Poop
Chalmers was so busy studying his script, he forgot his first cue: ring the doorbell
The prop wasn't ready yet
The doorbell ring is expensive so they just skip it in rehearsals.
Agnes had almost three minutes to memorize her lines and she still flubs the first word she’s supposed to say. And then she forgets to yell for help.
Well to be fair, her actress is getting on in years.
She didn't forget. All the delays due to everyone umm-ing and ah-ing, forgetting their lines and checking their scripts (including her) caused her to pass out from extra smoke inhalation.
SEESOR 💀💀
Three minutes to memorize, like, only 2 or 3 lines, might I add 😂
AND her lines had a total of 6 words
"Well Seymour I made it. Despite your stage directions."
"Ah, superintendant Chalmers, welcome. I hope you're prepared for an unforgettable play!"
“Ehhhh”
*walks in and puts champagne in ice bucket*
*GASP*
"Oh egads, My script is ruined!"
"...But what if, I were to steal Krusty's script and disguise it as my own doing? Oh ho ho, delightfully devilish Seymour."
"EH!" *narrows eyes*
"SUPERINTENDENT! I was just .... er, writing my cue cards on the windowsil. Eidetic exercise. Care to join me?"
“Why is the audience snickering and shaking their heads Seymour?”
Little did they know they'd be doing this for the rest of their lives.
The long-term contract they had signed said they'll be making these shorts till the end of time.

This got me
Poor Skinner couldn't even get Chalmers' name out the first time. A real bad case of Steamed Fright.
Either Agnes forgot her last line or the effects folks used real fire and she passed out from asphyxiation.
Excited to see the full version! I see potential in these actors

SCIZOR!
The firetruck driver was also reading the script too. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
No wonder why he ran over Superintendent Chalmers.
Alternative title: "Take #24 - 🎶*'The movie director going to need his medication'*🎶 (since everybody forgot their roles [even the cameraman])
I'm from Utica an I've never heard of a costumed first run through.
Keep up the memed hams 👍
What makes you think it's a costume?!
seymour's mother flipping through the script is the funniest moment i've ever experienced in a steamed hams parody
I think the most impressive part of this is how much like a first read-through it actually sounds
This is genuinely an innovative idea for an edit
"Why is there... Smoke... Coming out of your... Oven... ... Seymour?
That isn't smoke
@@ryanwebb309 It's obviously smoke, Seymour!
Chalmers: I just feel like my character would KNOW that it was smoke in the oven, he wouldn't just leave the room without questioning it.

Good lord! What a firetruck scene.
The hand on the shoulder
The pointing at the script
DO GOOD
I love how Chalmers always gets run over in the end
“Scizor! The house is on fire!”
Yeah, that’d be ten times more terrifying in that case
4x more terrifying, at least for Scizor
Just terastalize into water
Y'know. Cuz steam.
It’s actually so funny how well edited it is to be so accurate to an actual first rehearsal to a skit 😂😂
0:40
That's so stupid, I love it. 😂
2:47 Seymur search the "no" line lmao
It could be assumed there is a long conversation he did not feel like learning
I fully expected Seymour to flip "Aurora borealis" and "Northern lights" ... This rehearsal went well

"22 Short Films about Springfield, 'Steamed Hams scene,' take 1. ACTION!"
The little Chalmers & Skinner cameras were a great touch ^^
Well Seymour, you are an odd fellow, but I must say, you read pretty well the script
The idea that Seymour stretching his legs was an improv bit is brilliant!
The amount of originality you put in your videos is absolutely insane 👌
Okay, fuck it. This is by far the most well-made Steamed Hams
Steamed hams is one of those memes that ages like wine
OMG You are a genius.
They're excellent actors -- for people just reading their lines, they get the intonation and character down like they've done it a thousand times
Thank you for making my idea!
Steamed Hams but... Hi Super Nintendo Chalmers.
Ralph Wiggum shows up to the wrong rehearsal.
The editing is so good on this
0:52 They completely botched this part. 😂
Chalmers: Why is there, uh, smoke coming out of....of y-your oven Seymour?
Skinner: Uh--hoho that isn't smoke. It's steam! ... ....
Chalmers: ... It's obviously smoke, Seymour.
Skinner: Y-uh...MMM! Steamed clams!
This is genuinely fantastic, the edits are very well done
I like that these two eventually got the parts, they were born to play these roles.
This is amazingly well done with your custom animations and eye tracking, as well as being a good concept. Really impressive, I love it.
Goated
These steamed hams videos would have been much more popular in the golden era of steamed hams. Always on point bro, good work! 💪
This is the golden era though?
one of the cleanest steam hams edits ive ever seen wow
This is genuinely well made.
Absolutely brilliant. People are still coming up with genius steamed ham memes that make me laugh and appreciate the work put into it
this is excellent
00:20 - This moment itself gave me a chuckle 👏🤣
It honestly boggles the mind at how this meme is still going strong with gems like this. Well done!
Chalmers having to check the script before remembering he needed to scowl took me out
Very impressive that the whole set and all the props were ready by the first rehearsal
Chalmers noticed, and Skinner had to explain it.
Oh my goodness this is so creative and WELL EDITED! This is really underrated!!!

The mom bit really got me lol
Amazingly accurate.

Very nice edit
scizor the house is on fire! get out before you take 4x damage!
This is super well-made
Steamed Hams parody still deliver, this is excellent
The final few seconds killed me
A lot of houses were burned in the making of this film.
Nice, that's so well made I love it
I can see the final version of this scene being a massive meme
This was the best one yet.
This was fantastic. One of the best ideas I've seen. Amazing editing with all the scripts. Loved the part where he showed Skinner the script instead of the hamburger lol
I'm pleasantly surprised by how well this is edited!
this is AMAZING
Love that Seymour had to double check for Chalmers name.😂
an unforgettable amdram performance
this actually works better than the original
Loved when he was in the other room quickly going over his next few lines
Well Jvan, you are an odd fellow, but I must say, you make an amazing edit for remembering Agnes Skinner at 2:52 😂
this is very underrated
Ah, a fine Chalmskinn production
I love how you've edited them reading the scripts

Skinner and Chalmers cam what a world
Awesome my thing is here
Brilliant
I remember I was fortunate enough to see them on Broadway, they really have come so far from their first performance.
