Honor and Huawei have brought in a flurry of devices in the past couple of months. I’m not complaining since choice is always a good thing. But none of those devices are perhaps as important as this one. The Honor Play attempts at providing a flagship processor and high end user experience at a very affordable price. This video aspect ratio is a overkill. And this phone is a Mi A2 killer.
It's a matter of preference, me personally really like this cinematic aspect-ratio :) Try watching some videos from Sam Kolder or.. well; movies in general.

1920X722 pixels is not the native 21:9 res afaik + I see black bars even on my 21:9 display
I'm guessing you accidentally pressed "7" instead of "8" and made the res 1920 X 722 and not 1920 X 822 while making the sequence settings.

Is there is very large difference between miA2 and honor play camera? I know mi A2 is better in camera but if i go for honor play so can i satisfy with its camera? I mean to say is honor play have lots of noise? And portrait mode edge detection is equal in both mob?
Mi A2 is much better camera wise. Honor Play is good but the quality is roughly 60-65% of what the A2 provides. Only advantage the play has is front camera video EIS
Is. there any level of protection for front glass like Gorrila glass etc?
I don't think so. They haven't specified what it is but so far we haven't gotten scratches. Seems like it's regular tempered glass but even if it's GG, would advise putting screen protector in case you're afraid of scratches.
Not for gaming can I suggest it to normal user over mi A2?

A2 screen is pretty bad. Poco is a better choice. Play screen is the best among the three but the camera isn't very good
