Clef was talking about one person against a GOC STRIKE team. I believe that something like N-7 or E-11 against STRIKE would be a fair fight. Clef also said that Adams vs. White Suit one-on-one is slightly favored toward White Suit, not 1%.

Ngl all those Canons where the SCP Foundation is somehow at war with someone or something that is like fought via real life weapons it gets nerfed into oblivion. Literally the only thing theyd have to do is to send in Omega 9 and those people are FUCKED. Unkillable MTFs that are unparraleld masters at fighting that you cant even kill is enough to take anyone out.

MC&D likely holds multiple non-liquid assets. Like who cares if all your petty cash is gone when you own all oil reserves, lumbermills, mineshafts and so on
One of the GOC's goals is to maintain the Veil. Eliminating all currency worldwide would tear it down immediately or at least rip it partially.
Late but this almost happend when a Former Foundation research gained the ability to see 3 days into the future and any money in a certain range of them would deconceptulize personally I don't like the tale and regaurd it as more of a possible varrient of cannon like the Foundation and GOC did work to gether to terminate something but not the researcher
What about the three moons initiative? They have trillions of immortals, have vast knowledge of the multiverse, and work under a highly powerful reality warping entity. Many of its members were once SCP employees. They have even threatened to destroy versions of Earth for causing trouble.

MC&D has the most soft power
SCP has most knowledge, and if they wanted, they could very easily wield that knowledge as hard or soft power and rival both of the others.

I know this incredibly late but, as said above the serpents hand lacks unity, with cells fluctuate greatly in power with some having next to none and than you have things that stretch through multiple realities, I think that the serpents hand has the greatest potential, the church of the broken god fights to much within itself and the sartick cults also lack infrastructure as well a clear divide.

One thing to remember is that the GOC is beholden to the UN, which is itself indebted to MC&D.

MC&D is more powerful in the sense of raw financial power, but their goals are not terribly destructive. They even gave the glove to the fundation 'cause even them knew it was not good business to keep it and potentially destroy the moon or somesuch.
I really like these kinds of videos exploring the SCP universe a little more. In my opinion/head canon I think you missed the mark a little on gauging how powerful the SCP Foundation really is...if it really came down to it and they had their backs against the wall and decided to USE anomalies I think they’d have NO problem taking over the entire USA. Regardless, thanks for the awesome content! I’ve watched all your videos probably a dozen times each and always look forward to the premiers every week!!! 😁

Yeah in SCP 5000 they destroyed most of humanity when they decided to use scp because they have a bunch of scp’s that can kill millions if released in a populated area (096, 682, 008 and so many more)
I tend to view each of the large scale GoIs as being a balence or challenge to some aspect of the Foundation. The Serpents are a challenge to their secrecy. The GOC is a challenge to their refusal to destroy anomalies. MCD is a challenge to their scientific altruism. The Chaos Insurgency is just a straight up challenge and so on and so forth.

I think the most powerful group is the Three Moons Initiative. From the Scp equivalent of the afterlife. The can get near infinite resources from a deity and the people live for ever.

Well they’re have been a couple of times when literally everyone has been about to die so they work together but we normally don’t revisit that reality so we normally just know that they work together until something works

@@Crusader-7382 Well, yeah, if they weren't a threat they probably wouldn't be a GoI. I say probably because there are GoIs like the Manna Charitable Organization, which are only harmful when they fuck up (which is a lot, all things considered). They are also one of the lesser threats to the Foundation, more of a thorn in the side really. See, while anyone can be part of Serpent's Hand, that same anonymity is a great weakness, as they are organized into small cells, with extreme variation in belief between each group. While they have functionally infinite numbers spread across infinite worlds while hiding in an infinite repository of all knowledge in existence (and all knowledge that doesn't exist), they have no leadership capable of bringing those numbers to bear on any one thing. Besides, pretty much every GoI has sleeper agents in the Foundation

I would say the Foundation is still the most powerful. They have the resources to do everything the others are good at doing, but chose not to, instead sticking to research.
One thing that Foundation (and MC&D kinda too) has and which GOC has not, is unity and centralization of goals. You see, GOC is internally divided into different groups with goals that are often different or mutually exclusive at worst. Foundation is probably older (or at least has older roots, such as American Secure Containment Initiative), has centralized command and clear hierarchy. GOC has clear hierarchy and firepower competitive to Foundation, but not centralized command. MC&D has centralized leadership, but has not as much firepower (they can allow it however just by hiring people) and has not clear hierarchy. So I think in some Foundation combines the best capabilities of both.

We’re all asking who would win in a fight, but really, who would survive in a broken masquerade scenario? Whose ideals and structure would survive the public realizing that anomalies exist?
There are some different canons based around this, one of them is scp-6500, where the Foundation either chooses to remain in secrecy, or they go public and change their name to Vanguard so that they can keep humanity and the anomalous alive and stop containing scps.
Other organizations though would have a harder time, as the GOC despite its best interests have committed tons of war crimes, and they would likely be dissolved as well as their council.

Honestly, Im pretty sure the SCP Foundation is the most powerfu "GoI" by a long shot. Most tales that write other GoIs as powerful or even more powerful than it most of the time have them as their favourite organisation, basically extending the "self insert character is a marry sue" trope, just that its their fav character/organisation kinda like with Goku and DB Fans. Of course, I wont deny MCD, TMI and the GOC are immensly powerful, but the Foundation literally was able to contain a thought that would kill you if you knew about it, not even mentioning the other shit they can do.
The goc has killed at least 3 gods and they killed 90% of all reality benders in the world. Like clef said in number one with a bullet the foundation cannot do anything agaisnt goc orange suits and most mtf would be completely destroyed by goc strike teams
