Very entertaining story. I can associate with the character about flying. Also landing flat on your back after falling off the roof. Had to look up scp-055. To remind myself what your nameless character was heisting and how secure it was. Its such and easy SCP to forget about and yes MC&D would love to turn that into a product.
I think the twist here is that the narrator _became_ 055. MCD already had devices (masks) that could hide a person from Foundation awareness, but whatever the narrator was stealing, ended up stuck in his area of effect.

Personal headcanon thanks to this is that in 5000, Pietro hung out with this dude for months at a time, and eventually the effect would wear off quicker because he was too scared to leave the box.
@@GraveyardMaiden I feel that abel *was* sympathetic, but after all the killing, and the fact that he's clearly sentient and intelligent, he's kinda lost whatever humanity he had. Then there's the bit in the agent aa logs whers he tells a guy to kill an animal everyday.
The Davites were the enemies of the Edenites (self-coined term, but I don't think I need to explain it) and Abel was the strongest warrior of the Edenites, until Cain turned him into the undead abomination we all know and fear today. I'm not quite sure what happened afterward, he might have switched sides, I dunno.

I don't feel quite right, besides that door stinks anyways." B: "What door?"...
They put a memetic mask on him and his wife. Meaning that certain people, in this case foundation personal are unable to comprehend him as an existence. Imagine it as a mix of seeing a shadow in the side of youre vision while also not being able to remember anything about this shadow, including if it was actually there.
The foundation is a morass of bureaucracy, overregulation, and waste. They should just learn from marshall, carter, and dark and let the free market decide how and whether anomalies are contained.
Still really good. But you should totally make a bidding war video between MC&D and some sort of G.O.I. I'm sure you could write something really fun with that :)
I have a simple re-write idea. The main character should have been made suicidal by an SCP, or fallen off the roof while running from an SCP. Then he was given an amnestic by the Foundation, and become disillusioned after finding that out. I think that would have a better thematic flow.
