Your comment was made a few months ago so you might have gotten your answers already, but in case you haven't, I'm pretty sure she is damping her hair with water (which is what that green bottle is for), making it easier to style her hair. You could also use creams/butters/gels that fit your hair texture (meaning it doesn't weigh it down/make it crunchy or is too light for your hair/doesn't really work much) while using that type of brush she uses when doing these hairstyles to sleek down your hair. I think you definitely need to put a ton of pressure on that brush after applying the products to get it as sleek as she got it though haha. For your second question, if you mean how she has such defined curls that kind of look wet all the time, I think she has a video about that, where she talks about tips on how to have frizz-free defined curls. Yes you can have 1-4 type hair and as long as it's in its natural state(aka if you were born with straight hair it should be straight without being maybe curled) it doesn't have to be healthy, but whenever you wet your hair, that's it's natural state.

use a soft bristle brush and wet your hair exactly like that but do it quick before it shrinks!
