Very nice watch. I’ve been eyeing the PanoReserve. Similar look but thinner case since it swaps out the automatic for a manual wind movement. It also replaces the the moon phase with a reserve indicator (a more useful complication, particularly for the manual version).

That dial is amazingly stunning. It could hold it's own against F.P Journe or the best non independent which is A. Lange. They assemble their watches twice. Stand down Patek. Glashutte is the other German heavy hitter. Dial layout is amazing. I just don't get the Rolex insanity. I can get 3 Grand Seikos for the price of a grey market Submariner with no warranty.
3 Zenith Chronomaster sports for the price of a Daytona. These people must be on crack.
Yeah it's getting crazy. Sold my sub just for that reason. Got a BB58 instead and will probably get an older Omega 300 aswell. would love a No-date SeaQ from Glashutte.

I love the Panoreserve a lot better because It looks much cleaner in my opinion. Also, the secondary market prices are great because you can get around a 30 percent discount. Great video btw

Well done video. This is a great looking watch. GO may not viewed in the same light as ALS, but they are close in many respects and offer great value for money.

This watch is "different" as you said but, in this Pandemic era, a little dressy for me.
I'd stick to your Grand Seiko GMT if I were you. Wears well on the wrist, it's different and more of a daily watch. But that's just my two cents worth.

Excellent vid and I’ve been considering this after I traded off my OP 41mm Green as it really did nothing for me. There is no comparison between what you’re paying for a not that impressive OP in green and this watch!!
Dude they make some of the most beautiful watches for the price. Considering you can get a submariner for 10k or you can get a work of hand crafted art with more complications, this price is more than fair.

The green dial is nice, in fact I own it happily, but in having it made me really like the white dial. It’s subtle and takes a second look to really appreciate. The green dial to me seems a little shallow in comparison.

I have the new SEAQ big date diver in blue. Such an underreported on brand. Quality for the dollar is amazing.
Overall GO has been an underrated and underreported brand. It's always compared to A. Lange & Söhne, but the two German brands are on different price range tier*. Plus Lange has the Richemont group to support the branding. For bang for the buck GO is a great option. I have the panomatic inverse, and you will not find anything in the market within that price range. From my research, 95% of GO's watches are made in-house. Even the tools they use are made in-house.
It's my favourite watch out there but you can keep the green dial ;)

I agree on several fronts: 1) A. Lange & Söhne is the best in the business, 2) the Glashütte Original Panomatic Lunar is phenomenal and has a great value to cost ratio, and 3) “wife permitting.” 😂

Man, does that thing look good on your wrist! But...it might like just a little bit better on mine...maybe. It's a good thing I'm on the east coast, the people at Feldmar would get annoyed by me agonizing over the 3 dial choices for months before I actually sprung for one. One day I'll get one...or maybe all 3 color options...

yeah, this watch is a beauty, now you can get one on the gray market for less than 8 thousand dollars in steel
there is another Glashütte Original that I think is great and the best of its kind the Senator Chronometer regulator has a lot of details 😍
As a guy who’s reviewed a ton of sport watches, what about the Glashutte SeaQ big date? Maybe too similar to stuff you already have?

Interesting dimensions. To look at it in the shots, it looks super-chunky. That thickness doesn’t seem too chunky though…
The 2 year warranty is a non starter in this price range. The movements are complicated, and not easily serviced if living outside of Germany. Their competition (and some below) have moved to 5 year warranties. The gray market tells you that the brand has poor value retention, and I believe the warranty is a major factor.
There are two annoying things about GO. First, their watches are not widely available. That means that one can't easily see them in the metal. Even GS has more market presence. Second, the brand has a mere two-year warranty. I don't understand this, as the quality control, judging from the lack of complaints, is obviously high. It's just weird. GS recently and retroactively extended its warranty to 5 years.
I have been looking at this model for over a year, particularly in the silver. The blue looks great too. The green is not for me on this watch design, but it is obviously wonderfully executed.
Thanks, though, for providing real video of one of these. The artist renderings are just not very useful. If the shop will let you back in (!), quick views of the silver and blue would be swell.
