I bought one with white dial back in 2020. Changed later the original black leather strap (only one available at that time) for the blue textile one. Such an elegant timepiece! It is incredible level of watchmaking at that price point (especially 3 years ago). I never get tired of looking at the movement through the back of the case 🤩 Totally under the radar, even if I believe that the GO brand starts becoming the awareness it deserves ... Great Video, thanx !
The grey version is definitely a candidate for my final grail watch purchase. Would love if they released a green version, or did an inverse dial showing the balance wheel on the dial in this 40mm form factor.
Would consider this G.O. over many of its competitors for a new dressier piece. Great suggestion. There don’t seem to be many in the US on Chrono. Rare and under the radar. Thanks for the share!
The most amazing video about such a hidden gem high horology piece! I looked at the white dial first, but thanks to your video, I just placed an order for a blue dial one, spectacular!
In love with the pano collection. Definitely awesome finish and work on it. To me it was bit too straight-thick but it doesn’t diminish the superbness of the watch, and price point is exquisite as well. Super Nice vidéo Tom , love it
I own the Glashutte Original Panoramadatum, and absolutely love it! It is a stunningly beautiful watch, from the front and the back! It also keeps amazingly great time! While I also love the Panoreserve line, I felt I would benefit more from a more casual watch, not keeping office hours nor having to dress up for work. Glashutte Original really is a hidden gem, and their execution of the date window not only shames Rolexes treatment of a date window, with it's hideous (in my opinion) "Cyclops Lens"....but even one ups A. Lange, by having both date wheels at the same level, thereby eliminating the need for a center divider! While their movements may not be up to Lange's, or Patek level, they are absolutely stunning, and in my opinion, head and shoulders above Rolex.
Thank goodness I know how to properly pronounce the brand name now, thank you. You make a compelling story. I see this as a watch for a special person. A very nice looking piece. A statement in its own right.
Very well made video. Bravo. I have many watches, some true luxury pieces, many not. This is exactly the piece I identified as my final luxury piece, I have no need for more. It is at once highly individual and rather fine value in the High Horology space, which it occupies with considerable grace. Wear one and you know.
Totally agree with you on all but 1 point! Thankfully, we will not fall out over this as it is merely a personal preference - that being the strap choice. I Love the leather strap. Otherwise - 100% agree with you on all the other points and 150% agree with you on 'they offer the best value for money out of all the luxury watch brands!'
I was so set on the Omiwatari, even saving for it…..and then I remembered this watch. Hiving this serious consideration. Close to perfect. Still have it? Long term ownership experience?
@@BowlOfSalmon I wanna bought that lens, I have a Sony a7siii so I think if it possible to do this kind of macro photography it's amazing. Thanks for your kind reply
@@BowlOfSalmon it is lovely with that white dial and you can dress it up or down with leather, steel or rubber it’s just so versatile! You can even jump in the pool with 10 bar 😜
Gorgeous watch for the price... thank you for this review. I think though the 40mm dress-watch would wear just too big on my 17cm wrists. Perhaps, if it was 38mm then certainly.
Recently saw a GO pano in an article. I thought it’s a $30k+ watch. I read into the production process of this watch. Definitely will be getting one after i obtain my overseas.
Fascinatingly beautiful art piece that you can wear and tell time piece. How beautiful is the back of that watch? And how amazing that this company makes every component of that watch in house. Just amazing!!
Check out the Ulysse Nardin Marine Torpilleur, same complications but it’s the total opposite of asymmetric. Everything ring on its dial is symmetrical and there are circles within circles if you “look closer” 😂
These are amazing watches. It really does seem like a generous taste of high horology for those of us who are never going to spend $100K on a watch. But what instantly disqualified them for me, during my most recent research/purchase phase, was the warranty. A two year factory warranty. Sorry, but if your brand won’t stand behind the product for five years, I won’t buy it. I didn’t even look at Rolex until they upped their warranty. With many brands offering five years, and some even going to eight, two is simply unacceptable. Other than that, I like the size, I like the look, I like the moon version, and absolutely love that big date.
Wow - I had to check for myself - great point. 24 months is incredibly short. I’ll counterpoint that any defects would more than likely show up much, much, sooner than 24 months. Perhaps I am incorrect? Your point provides excellent food for thought, though.
This, just with 100m water resistance. I don’t understand why they not just integrate an screw down crown. I just don’t feel comfortable with 50m as a daily.
depends what "daily" is to you I guess. washing hands , watering the garden .. i don't see the issue ... if i go camping.. this wouldn't be my daily as i like to dive into lakes & rivers when about. I wouldn't swim with 50 either, i'd dake it off when showering etc.
Wempe, NY only offered 20% off on another GO model, i need atleast 40% off on GO models to buy, they are not in demand and are available in every AD store.
Stunning watch. I’ve wanted one for a long time but a bit like you rarely have need for a dress watch. It’s definitely on my list though….but in grey!
But what if you don’t have to see it as a dress watch. Grey probably tones it down even more.

No wrong choice with a grey. Green only exists in the lunar version? Didn’t know

GO doesn’t produce the biggest volume either I think. And def not a brand you find in a lot of ads around here
I frikken love this watch. So beautiful. I love these guys and ALS.
Same. Big fan too

oh massive congrats there ! were you able to try the pieces in that color too ?
@@BowlOfSalmon I did not because it was unavailable, but I tried the white dial one, which was beautiful. I'm sure the blue dial will be amazing!
In love with the pano collection. Definitely awesome finish and work on it. To me it was bit too straight-thick but it doesn’t diminish the superbness of the watch, and price point is exquisite as well.
Super Nice vidéo Tom , love it
I’m not big boned but I’m a size up from your wrist size. That helps. Unfortunately I don’t have your good skin and either
An incredible piece and to answer you question, most definitely see this being in your collection
Hopefully
This watch is on my list! Thank you for this beautifully shot review. There were no reviews of the blue panoreserve on youtube before.
ah welcome buddy... hope you get to tick off the list soon ! thanks for watching

Lucky you. Beautiful time piece👍
Wow Tom! Love this video. I think I’m in love with this watch. Looks great on video would love to see it for real.
thx Tom. who knows .. maybe .. soon . you need to come over more
very nice maybe one day would love one
May that day come soon ;). Thx for watching
This watch is so beautiful and I can`t wait for the SeaQ review.
Ill try and be quick. Thanks for watching 🙏

good size for your wrist too

well i'd probably never stop at just one strap ;)
...great vid...i've just realised the trick I've been missing....Glashutte and Franck Muller...age appropriate :)
thanks! never handled Franck Muller ;)

Not an owner yet unfortunately but one year in and this is still on my mind and top of my list. Maybe this year
@@BowlOfSalmon good goal
Thanks for this super-detailed review. Can I ask you what kind of lens do you use for your beautiful close-up and macro video?
Thx. Sure. 90mm sony g

Thanks !
Just added this to my collection as well. Got an insane deal on it and man its so much watch for the money.
Oh man. I want it so bad
from where? I want to buy Pano Lunar GOLD Green Dial in USA !
It makes sense... Next one on my list with a white dial.
oooh man .. #envy
I love the Senator panorama date Chronograph 😍
Never tried those ! Maybe one day

I’ll have the Lunar version on bracelet before long. Probably should’ve already bought one but I had to get a Zenith for my first $10K purchase.
I feel you. Big dicisions
Incredible videography 🔥🔥🔥🔥
thanks Jake !
I want one, too!
Get in line 🫣😅
Awesome brand!👍👍👍
Agreed 🤜

exactly the feeling I get from these too .... i know "lange on a budget" is being said but that wouldn't do them justice ... yet it also does ...
Very good video.
Still want this watch

It really is! I still want to add one
Great work as usual Tom. And what a watch!! Wishlisted 🙂
Thx Ian !
I add the panoramiclunar in my collection. It s à best to have it
ssstttt . i still want it
A glashute panoreserve together with a Vans hoodie… daring combo 😉
living on the edge .. but in my defense ... the diver would be the vanlife watch tho
For me, the Panoreserve is the most beautiful watch in the world and has been since I first saw it more than 20 years ago. One day soon…
I still very much want one too

Wouldn’t mind getting a closer look on those
it's the glashutte original 60s green for me.
They do green well
Great review. Just ordered this in the grey/black version. I think the thickness is 12.7mm not 11.7, at least according to GO's website.
Hmm. Isnt the automatic moon that size ?
@@BowlOfSalmon Oh, you're right. Looking at the wrong model.
Its not Lange is it?
But it doesn’t have to be for me. I’d enjoy this more.
Nope, but it's not 4x the price either... which is what the Lange 1 is.
Does mean you own its the best
🤔

It hasn’t been a factor of thought for me. And something I haven’t looked into. I only know oris is good at that.
Does GO watches last for 10 years without issues like a rolex?

Why didn't you wear this with a military nato strap?
That’s an idea for when I get to own one
Not sure why , they changed the style of the old stainless steel bracelet , what a miss.
