Glashütte Original is my favorite German brand, the finish on their movement is spectacular, the coplanar big date is beautiful and very difficult to do. Glashütte Original SeaQ Panorama Date offers an open back leaving in the dust other divers watches that don’t show their movement and the ones that do don’t compare to the Glashütte Original details! Excellent video as always, keep the good work my friend!
Teddy, your pronounciation of German brand names is very much on point. Congrats! Just one exception which you get wrong: "Glashütte" is a compound word: "Glas" plus "Hütte". Therefore, there is a split between s and h. It is NOT pronounced "Gla-sh-ütte" as you do. But "Glas-hütte". With an "s" as in english "glass". And not like an "sh" as in english "flash". (The meaning of the name is quite simple and obvious: "glass hut". The villagers were producing glass centuries before they began producing watches. Hence the name.).
I had this watch for a few months. I really liked it, but found it a bit cumbersome and thick on my wrist. I also found the clasp to be uncomfortable and had difficulty getting a good fit. The thickness was finally the reason why I sold it, but you are correct, the movement finishing is magnificent. I had the grey dial and it really didn't shimmer as much as I had hoped. I hope these comments are helpful to folks thinking about this timepiece.
Teddy, this will be one of your best videos you’ve ever produced. I really appreciate the level of development that goes into the quality of your videos. And without a doubt this is a high horology classic. Keep up the great work!
The blue dial GO Panomaticlunar is my favorite (affordable) dress watch. I like it way more then the Lange 1, because I hate Roman numbers on a watch. Great review Teddy
Thanks for this video - I've watched it umpteen times which helped me so much in making my decision to buy one last weekend. Stunning timepiece to simply call it a watch would be insulting.
This is one of the only watches I have been looking at since day 1 of becoming an enthusiast. Absolutely love it, and I'm glad you made a video on it! Looks even better with the grey dial imo
One of my favorite brands. I’m so tired of this model being called a “poor mans’ Lange”. Thanks for not calling it that Teddy. I think some sort of border around the date window would be fabulous, but of course that would resemble the ALS even more. I love that haven’t abandoned brands for which you aren’t always an AD. You are a class act.
It's a homage. The lange 1 is too original to call the GO a unique watch. The moon should be where the date is, the semi circle facing the dial edge. I watched Teddy's review (as well as quite a few others) when researching this timepiece. I finally made the leap and received my GO PanoMaticLunar yesterday. All I can say is "wow," I am 100% pleased with the purchase. While Teddy's videography and production values are top-notch, none of the online reviews and pictures really do it full justice - it is simply incredible - as Teddy points out in the vid, the fit and finish for a piece at this price point (even considering it is steel vs. precious metal) is 2nd to none (IMO). love this watch. at first I thought it too big and thick but having a second look, with lug to lug only being around 47mm, I think I can handle it. On my want list. Oh, love that the date wheels are on the same plane. Something I wish Lange would do.
I really love this model, and GO in general. A bit too thick for my taste at 12.7mm, and my choice would therefore be the PanoReserve at 11.7mm, even if it doesn't have the micro-rotor movement and just a manual winding one.
Wearing the blue faced Panomaticlunar right now, and I couldn’t be happier (got it back in August of this year). The white dial is just stunning but I love the uniqueness the blue brings to the table
Picked this up with the new green dial and absolutely love it, and I’ve owned Lange on several occasions. I wear primarily high-end sports watches and couldn’t justify $50- $70K on a dress watch, hence the Pateks & Lange’s had to go. This reference is the answer, as well as JLC. I do hold an F.P. I will say there’s just something different about the Lange date window and uninterrupted time subdial (vs overlapping with the small seconds like the GO), but that’s personal preference. I love my piece and don’t regret it one bit! Who knows what the future will hold.
I own a Senator Panorama Date and a SeaQ. Both are outstanding watches, punching far above their weight category (I mean price category). Definitely JLC/Moser level of quality at a slightly lower price. Definitely a great option for the watch enthusiasts.
My grail is still the Lange 1, but GO is indeed often overlooked and a great value. Their factory in Glashutte is also a sight to behold. Great review as always!
Quite true about the price vacuum, I'd like to see some of the other guys - Sinn, Mühle, Union, Tutima, Nomos, et al - press forward a bit and give provide a few more choices in the £5k - £10k range.
This was great. I have a a Senator, and while that is not at this level, I’m happy to see profiles of this type. More content/ videos of lines like Zenith, JLC, Panerai, IWC, & ML would be well received IMHO.
Not a big fan of gold usually but on this watch it's a must in my opinion. Anyway, great piece as always by Glashutte, which is indubitably a phenomenal brand for many reason (caliber, finishing, overall quality, price /value ratio). Thanks for this nice video.

My grail is still the Lange 1, but GO is indeed often overlooked and a great value. Their factory in Glashutte is also a sight to behold. Great review as always!
Stunning ❤️
Looking at a grey one tomorrow.
Quite true about the price vacuum, I'd like to see some of the other guys - Sinn, Mühle, Union, Tutima, Nomos, et al - press forward a bit and give provide a few more choices in the £5k - £10k range.
Love it! Love it! Love it! Saw a green dial version recently that would be pick of colours.
Thanks for this great Video Teddy. 🤗👍👍
This was great. I have a a Senator, and while that is not at this level, I’m happy to see profiles of this type. More content/ videos of lines like Zenith, JLC, Panerai, IWC, & ML would be well received IMHO.
This has been a long under appreciated brand. Great video.
Not a big fan of gold usually but on this watch it's a must in my opinion. Anyway, great piece as always by Glashutte, which is indubitably a phenomenal brand for many reason (caliber, finishing, overall quality, price /value ratio). Thanks for this nice video.
Masterpiece
Really great video, Teddy! I would also love to see a video, and your take, on the Frederique Constant Moonphase watches. I really love this type of complication, and this brand has some models that I could save up for 😅
Stunning. Love the engineering for the price.
I’ve loved this brand, and this watch (especially the manual power reserve version) for years. I mean decades! And suddenly just NOW recently there are many reviews of this specific watch.
Many reviews recently??? Where
@@juniorjr5328 this isn’t the only *recent* reviews. I just saw another one just a few days ago. For a not very well known brand, having more than one reviews in a few days is shocking!
@@jiajianhou426 ….? Which brand isn’t well know under the major watch conglomerate
great review of a fantastic brand and there's another unknown glassutte brand union glassutte who do some amazing watches at a great prices
GO are superb timepiece’s, thanks
These are going to skyrocket in value. All it takes is one rapper to start wearing one.
Wow...that's an amazing-looking watch.
