Opening those split rings can be a headache. Try using a staple remover to open them. Saw that tip on another site, tried it and now no more skinned fingertips. Your charms are beautiful and answered the question I had in my head.
Great job! I loved learning your way of making these. And the fact that you used gold vs. silver was nice. Most folks use silver and seeing it done with gold really made a difference. Thank you!
I find these beading videos so relaxing! I purchased a few items and I’m going to give it a go. Thank you for your video. I just wanted to add this video was very helpful and you’re an awesome teacher.
I think you’re doing an absolute beautiful job, and even though this video is quite old, I wouldn’t share your information so freely. I mean he demonstrations is great, but sharing where you get your tools, where you get all your supplies at, and not charging a fee for that allows people to go out, get those things copy and then Actually being in competition with you. What would be cool if you’re still doing this is maybe have like a Patreon where people can pay you for videos like this and to get all of that inside information. Just a thought I enjoy your videos and I think that you did a great job I need to see if you’re still around, six years later. I just have been learning about beats myself and came across your video and I think you do beautiful work. I just think that you should be paid for all your work, and your research, and procure the products as you have.
Thank you so much for your kind words and ideas. I really like to help people and do tutorials. I do still make purse charms and will continue to do that. I will make an updated video tutorial when I get a chance. Thanks again.
Hi, great tutorial. I love your designs. Where do you get your different sizes in split rings? O.k. you answered my question. The big puffy heart is gorgeous. Knowing where to get supplies is very helpful. Blessings
Good tutorial. Making dangling charms is what I'd like to do. But, I have a Q about these "bead caps". I see various size & shape of beads on your workspace and all the same size of bead caps. So then, one size of bead cap fits any size shape of bead? tia
What length head pins do you use and where do you buy them? I went to Hobby Lobby and Michael's and could not find 3 inch head pins. Thanks for sharing this video! I found it easy to follow. 😊 Beautiful beads as well! ❤
Hi Katherine, I luv all ur purse charms, if I may ask where do you purchase the metal hearts they are adorable? and all the beautiful colorrful big beads?
Hi Margie!!! Thank you! I. purchased the metal hearts from Alliexpress (I'm not sure if they still carry them), and the big beads are Jesse James beads. They have their own website but you can also get them at Michael's and Joann's.
R U in AZ or Albuquerque? Love your charms. New to your videos. I am 87 and would like to try to make them. Do u attach the beads to chain with jump rings?
Hi, yes I do attach the beads to the chain with jump rings. No I don't live in AZ. If you have any other questions I can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask.
Hi Anastasia, I don't know the size of the bead caps. If you go to firemountaingems.com you can see the different sizes of bad caps that they sell. Also, I'm not sure what you are asking about a box????
Hi Mary, thank you. No I closed it several months ago. I do have a Facebook business page where I will be selling some of my purse charms at some point if you are interested. It's kpeckscreativecafe.
Hi Takila, thank you so much. I usually use about 10-12 beads for the whole charm. You're putting one of each on each side, so you would need about 10-12. You can make it as big or as small as you want to!!! Good luck.
From a retired teacher, you did a great job explaining. Enjoy your videos.
Hi Cathy, thank you so much!!! I appreciate y our kind words.
