@@NurseTara04 One day I will try to make a dangle like yours. I have a lot of tools! And a metal lunch tray from the factory where my father-in-law worked. It’s compartmented; perfect for lap work while watching tv. And I’ll think of him (RIP). 💕
Love this purse charm, & it is obvious that it is made with love. Priceless gift for the person who received it. You’re very thoughtful, and delightful in your video.
this video was a godsend. I just completed 45 purse charms for my two daughters to give the ladies in their ladies group. wire wrapping 700ish (lol) beads was surely a challenge. I figured out a way to do them in an assembly line process. you are truly an inspiration for me. thanks so much for you and what you do.
+angelhearts1251 Thank you! Between you and spellbound987's comments I am definitely considering doing a "real time" process video. Thanks for your suggestion, I appreciate it.
I just love this video. Your charm would be great to give to anyone. It's so beautiful & elegant. I really like how you used your crimp tool to tighten up your wrapped wire. That is something I'll have to try. Thank you for taking the time to film & edit this for us. Jil
+stampyra Thank you so much Jil! I'm glad you caught that because I forgot to mention using the crimp tool to pinch those ends, I find using that tool easier and they don't damage the beads. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
thank you for the tutorial Tara. Many of the videos I've seen out there, are not as detailed and clear, as this tutorial. your charm creating tutorial explained a lot. big hugs, Sandi
That is a beautiful charm thank you so much for sharing your process. Thank you also for emphasizing that the wire wrapping etc takes time and practice as so many things do. So many tutorial and process videos gloss over the learning curve on some of these skills. I hope you feel better soon!
+PositivelyCatCrafts Thank you and you're welcome! I really wanted to point out to keep practicing because it can be frustrating when you have never wire wrapped, but I promise it gets easier and you'll find a rhythm that works for you. Thanks for the well wishes, I appreciate it!
Awesome tutorial, Tara! I've been wire wrapping since I saw your first tutorial. I've learned so much. Thank you for the knotted head pin tut.. I've been frustrated when I use bigger beads and my head pins go through them, then I'd have to add the smaller bead at the bottom of the big one. Yeah, now I know what to do! You're the best, girl! Loove your tutorials! 😊 💖 Hugs!!!😙😙😙
+happymailqueen Thank you so much Armin! I'm glad you found this helpful and I've inspired you in the past. It's nice to know the time it takes creating these videos isn't in vain. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
+NurseTara04 Thank you, Tara! Just wanted to let you know that I will mail your package this coming week. My Hubby had to work , so I was unable to mail out last week. Have a good day!😊
Thank you! I love your style! These are just the right size. Purse charms don't have to be huge! Less is more. The focal bead is really a focal bead and is not lost on the chain. You did so much in a short video! Great job!
Thank you for sharing your technique. I am new to making these, and when I say new, I mean I have only made two lol. I used jump rings to add my charms and beads to the chain but I am going to try the wire wrapping. I am going to save your videos so I can refer to them. I have watched several videos and yours are clear and easy to follow. Thank you again for sharing!
+lyriclover810 Thank you so much Amber! This may be something to consider for your craft fair, although I don't know how much people would be willing to pay because they do take a lot of work which most non crafters wouldn't understand, and you should be compensated fairly for your time and effort. Tfw!
+NurseTara04 You're telling her EXACTLY right, Tara. Most people are not educated about what it takes for us to do what we do. Amber is one if my favs. 🌹 So I know she'll do well making these.
This was a great tutorial. I make jewelry and this tutorial was a great refresher and will help people at all levels of skill. Thanks for making the tutorial. You have a great voice and way of teaching that helps take the stress out of making something that can be daunting to many.
love it and thank you for showing how to make a coil knot and how to add them to a chain, love it very much. The charm key chain is so pretty. love the colors.
I love how quick this video is. I am one that likes to see it quickly and back it up if I didn't catch on the first time.. lol GREAT video!! Thank you!! :)
P.s Saving this vid for doing future purposes for of course my self, and will give you credit for being the teacher!!!! Thanks again Slimkim from MI XOXOXO
Thank you, beautiful purse charm! I love the way you use crimping tool to finish off the wire wrap around the bead, makes it more flush, but keeps wire curved around without flattening.
i love it. I enjoy looking at other videos but YOU ARE MY FAVORITE!!! My craft is crocheting and I made a few large, dressy purses and I want to add dangling charms... I love yours!!! Thanks!
This video from 7yts so came up in my feed. I am so glad it did. I'm am entering a bday give away and needed to seen something like this. Thank you so much! Love it, you did such a great job!!

What a wonderful video. I have all this stash for beads and never knew what to do with it and I am pulling it out right now and trying your ideas. Wow, I just love how you teach.
Cindy Jencks Thank you so much! Yes, awesome idea to slow it down.... I had to speed the video up a bit as I didn’t think people wanted to watch a 45 minute video. Glad you found it helpful! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Thank you very much for this very easy to follow tutorial. I had been looking for something like this for a long time. I am interested in learning how to make very simple but pretty purse charms. This has helped a lot!
Thanks Tara, I have been playing with making purse charms or actually keychains charms for my adullt chilldren. Love your purse charms - loved your process. I, too, am an öld"""nurse. Beadingl is such a wonderful way to destress. Thanks for taking the time to make the video. Namaste.
love the wire wrapping and putting beads onto chain rather than jump rings looks much more professional and hardier than some other beads charms. great tutorial
+Jeannine Christensen Thank you! I thought the same thing, but if I didn't speed it up a bit it would have been an hour long video. I think I'm going to do another process video but have all my beads wrapped prior so I can show how to assemble the charm in real time. Tfw!
Thank you so much! I had made a beaded dangle for my planner and have not been happy with it all. This method will make it look MUCH better. Love all your shakers and other vids also. Thanks again.
Beautiful purse charm. I used to do a lot of beading, wire wrapping and occasionally soldering. This was a great video to remind me how to do the wire wrapping. Thank you!
Very elegant....I need to use your services for my business each month. It also gives me great ideas on how to use up left over beads from my other beading projects. TFS
Excellent idea on how to secure the beads onto the chain! I was just about to get busy making lots of purse charms, and I'm so glad I viewed this video first. Thank you, Tara!! Just love your work. ~~Liz
