    Yesterday, I deep conditioned with the multitasking conditioner (I've used it all 3 ways. No idea how it does ALL THREE so well!!!! 🤯), used the weightless air dry cream for leave-in, and the in shower style fixer for hold. BAM!! PERFECT hair day!!!

    I’m a Curlsmith junkie 🥰 and I love to mix and match.
    My favorit styling combo is the Weightless Air dry cream, Bouncy Strenght Volume Foam and the Styling Soufflé 💕
    For my lazy washdays I use only three products: the Conditioner wash, hold me softly style balm and styling soufflé.
    And the In shower style fixer will be available in Europe later this year along with the whole Color recipe line 😍
    I can’t wait to get my hands on the multitasking conditioner when i becomes available on the EU site 💕I really love the Strenght line with my fine low porosity hair

    I'm slowly building my Curlsmith collection. I didn't initially want to like their products, because they are a little pricey, but they have great ingredients, are cruelty-free, and my hair loves everything I've tried so far. The detox trio was great in the winter time, and I would follow up with the weightless air dry cream, then more recently (once I got it) the protein cream (which my hair adores). I have fine, low porosity, high density wavy/curly hair that likes a lot of lightweight moisture and protein, but does best with a harder hold gel on top. My hair is sensitive to glycerin (and I live in a dry climate so my dew points are usually quite low) so I haven't wanted to try the in shower style fixer. I'm looking at either the aqua gel or the flexi jelly next (well, after the new strength shampoo and multitasking conditioner, of course) though I suspect they won't have as much hold as I like alone. I might start with the flexi jelly in the travel size - which is an awesome idea, both for traveling and trying new products.

    • @MarisasCurls
      @MarisasCurls  3 роки тому +3

      I would definitely recommend the Flexy jelly, it has more hold than you might think.

    I wish the CS website gave more info, such as glycerin content in products. I took the curl quiz and ordered a whole bunch of recommended full-size Moisture line products. As so many people were raving about the brand, I felt it was bound to work for me, too. I found out the hard way that my hair reacts to glycerin, which the moisture line contains. My hair was horrific. I'm determined to find products that will work for me, so will have to start my research yet again on the scalp and strength line. Your hair is amazing by the way and looks incredibly healthy.

    I just discovered curlsmith this year and they are by far my favorite! My hair texture and porosity is similar to yours and my hair never feels weighed down with these products. I just got the moisture memory reactivator and the in shower style fixer yesterday and haven't used them yet. I would interested in how you have used them in combination with the other products and if you use any of the products on refresh days. Hydro style flexi jelly is my favorite also!

    • @MarisasCurls
      @MarisasCurls  3 роки тому

      The moisture memory reactivator I like as a leave in under something else. A lot of people like to refresh with it although it’s a bit sticky in my hair for that. The in shower style fixer I find you only need a little and it does need to be added to dripping wet hair and I prefer a leave in underneath for extra moisture.

    I have low porosity, fine, low to medium (in some parts) 2a/2b hair. I just started using the vibrancy shampoo and the conditioner. I also have the weightless air dry cream and the aqua gel. So far after my third wash day I’m still not too crazy about my wash day results :/. I use the weightless cream, then the gel, then diffuse. My hair isn’t liking this gel so far. My hair looks clumpy in a way with not a lot of lift, and it’s crunchy. I don’t use a lot at all due my fine hair. I get decent 2nd day hair but I have no idea what to try. Any suggestions? Hi Marisa, I used you code and got the Flexi Jelly and the Volume Foam, but whatever I do, I can't get the foam to come out as a FOAM, it just squirts out as a runny froth no matter how much I shake it! Have you ever had this problem? Thanks.

    • @MarisasCurls
      @MarisasCurls  2 роки тому +1

      I think I show using the foam in my bonding oil video on here so you should be able to see how it looks. It’s not like a mousse, it’s very much a light foam but it shouldn’t be too runny. Maybe worth getting in touch with curlsmith in case your pump is faulty. If you are on Instagram feel free to send me a picture of how it looks and I can tell you if it looks as it should

    Thanks for this video, it's tough to get CS products in Australia so I'm trying to do all my research before I commit since they're so pricey. I know I want the flexi jelly from the blue label, but having a hard time deciding between the air dry vs protein creams. I like a little protein in my routine, but my hair doesn't love too much. Often I just use 1 protein product per wash day (usually Briogio's protein curl cream) and that seems to work well for me. I definitely don't need a ton of moisture as my hair is easily weighed down. My hair also LOVES mousses so I'm curious about trying the foam. Ugh, decisions!!

    • @MarisasCurls
      @MarisasCurls  2 роки тому

      Well the air dry cream is really a light leave in conditioner whereas the protein cream is a true styling cream. Both are absolutely excellent so it’s depends on whether you need a leave in or a cream. The protein cream is not heavily protein-ey 😄 fairly gentle

  • @amyjohnson4465

    I think I have almost all of the curl smith products now! I’m currently struggling with gel. I’m wavy & like a hard hold gel. I wish the In Shower from the orange line didn’t have glycerin & wish the flexi-jelly had more hold! Any suggestions?

    • @MarisasCurls
      @MarisasCurls  3 роки тому +2

      I love the hold of the Flexy jelly but maybe if you pair it with the protein cream it might be good as the protein cream actually has a little hold too. Alternatively try applying to less wet hair as this can increase the hold
