I prefer throwing glow discs instead of any glow stickers but firefly glow vinyl glow very well compared to the glow ring stickers. Bright and glow for a longer than innova.

I found the green vinyl works really well, the blue was absolutely terrible, and so was the aqua.

I definitely have found that using glow tape on discs that I don't care about is better than the glow plastic in terms of brightness. However I keep my glow plastic in case of any glow comp.

I would use both. The last glow tournament I was on I used an ESP Glow Buzzz and we all know Discraft's Glow isn't that great so i doubled up and used this vinyl as well. So did 20 other people at the tournament.

Does the vinyl overall change/ affect the integrity of the weight of the disc? Does it interrupt the direction at all?
Trying to figure out if I should cut something out or dye my man's disc's.

Just curious, but is it legal to use a disc with a vinyl decal on it in a tournament?
New to this world with disc golf 🙈

      Hi Swedish Viking,
This is what the PDGA says about this:
      PDGA Rule 802.01
      B. The guidelines for golf discs are set forth in the PDGA Technical Standards Document. To be legal in PDGA competition, a disc must:
      (6) be essentially as produced, without any post-production modifications which affect the weight or flight characteristics;
      C. Players may not make post-production modification of discs which alter their original flight characteristics. This rule does not forbid inevitable wear and tear from usage during play or the moderate sanding of discs to smooth molding imperfections or scrape marks. Discs excessively sanded or painted with a material of detectable thickness are illegal. See sections 802.01 D, E and F.
      E. A player who carries an illegal disc during play shall receive two penalty throws, without a warning, if observed by two or more players of the group or an official. A player who repeatedly throws an illegal disc during the round may be subject to disqualification in accordance with 804.05 A (3).
      F. All discs used in play, except mini marker discs, must be uniquely marked in ink or pigment-based marking which has no detectable thickness. A player shall receive a warning for the first instance of throwing an unmarked disc if observed by two or more players of the group or an official. After the warning has been given, each subsequent throw by the player with an unmarked disc shall incur one penalty throw if observed by two or more players of the group or an official.
What the real world is like:
unless your playing a PDGA A teir tournament i doubt anyone will ever call you on it, well definitely not the countries ive played in. It would almost be borderline unsportsmanlike, although not technically because your breaking the rule.
      Conclusion to your reply:
If you use these in a tournament at night, the tournament won't be PDGA sanctioned there for you can use them. If you leave them on for a day tournament keep that disc for night games only or remove the stickers and put them back on the sheet. they are reusable.
      I hope this helps!
