Jeez! This is unbelievable! As a Phantom V1 owner from the UK, you are really showing the rest of the world what aftercare service is about. Christmas is coming early!
I gave you guys some stick for seeing all these upgrades coming and feeling bad that I adopted early. I take it all back and then some. This upgrade bundle is awesome news and shows you care about your customers. Apologies and thank you 🙏🏼
I appreciate that you guys finally let everyone know that the cracks, metaphorically speaking, are being addressed. Really looking forward to the turn signals in front, better screen, better acceleration, better throttle response and phone connectivity, among the other increases. P.s. I’d rather have more updates, in a faster timeline, than highly-produced content. But, please keep the maintenance videos coming(even perhaps dive into some more of the internals as well), they serve us Phantom owners well and the entire scooter community!
I like this format in the mix of your videos. It's nice to have such honest transparency in a company these days. I haven't installed my V2 upgrade yet and now you're going to offer a V3 upgrade. You guys are the best!!! Thanks so much.
Excellent work, thank you for the continual R&D focus. Grateful for throttle improvement and screen refresh. 1) Does this mean visibility in sunlight will be any better even compared to v2? 2) Will collapsible handlebars ever be incorporated please, they are the only remaining wish list item left for me. You guys are knocking it out of the park in acknowledging customer feedback. 3) Does the screen/app show a trip voltage estimator? I’d like an honest and quick way of seeing if I can make it back home or not given I’m an overweight rider.
I was looking at a lot of different brands to buy my first electric scooter. Your upgrade path has made it a no brainer im getting an apollo. Fantastic work, really happy to support a company like this.
Amazing work guys 💪 My wife has a Phantom v2 and she loves it to bits So cool that she can upgrade and not have to buy a whole new scooter to get the best controller tech Many thanks 😊✌️
Pretty cool that you offer retrospective upgrades to early owners. That gels nicely with the whole feel of what you're doing. In terms of the V3 features, most sound pretty good to me as a daily user/commuter on an E-scooter. Smoothness and control while getting traffic compatible speeds are really important to me while riding on roads or more confined urban areas. The ability to achieve bullet like acceleration into the side of a bus? Maybe not so important to most daily users. Ultra bright front and rear turn signals mounted on the handle bars and up on the back of the footrest where vehicle drivers can actually see them, as on the new Segway GTs? Yeah, now that is important to most of the users I talk to on the train going to and from work.
You guys rock!! My family (living in Australia) including 2 teenage kid’s is fully committed to reducing our carbon footprint, we made the choice to go ‘single vehicle’ household 10 years ago and will transition to an EV within 12 months. My ‘work commute’ of choice has been cycling for the past 15 years, mixed with occasional public transport. I recently hired a ‘public access’ e-scooter and became an instant convert!! My Phantom V2 60V arrived yesterday and will now be my ‘work commute’, especially post Covid/ Flu risk on Public transport! I did extensive on-line research and the ‘upgrade path’ was the ‘Tick Box’ for me!! BTW, what brand is that blue w’shop stand you display the Apollo on in the vid? Also, forget the high cost High prod videos, this ‘sneak peak’ freestyle format is great!!
Got my phantom a few days ago great experience with the scooter so far i really appreciate being able to upgrade in the future makes you feel secure in your investment & talking to customer service has been more than helpful learned a great deal thanks again.
Was looking at V2, think ill wait for v3, those new turn signals gonna be side facing also? And what about the water spraying trough the foot plate/lifting handle, maybe make it waterproof also rather than just IP54? Then its the best scooter!!
You can ride with your foot over the Kick plate to stop water splash. No electric ride is fully waterproof. The Phantom can be ridden in light rain or wet roads. The scooters modulation of components make it a plug and play scooter, so front turn signals will be a seperate upgrade in itself and will replace the white lights that are there now. I just bought the V2 and its a rocket. The quality is outstanding 👌. No regrets buying one at all. 🤟
I am so looking forward to the upgrade kit for my V2 that just last week. Will you be supplying both Canada and the United States or will we need to go through fluid free ride. Also assume the upgrade kit will work for both the 52V and 60V (assuming the 52V will need a 60V battery?). Thanks guys, keep up the good work improving your designs, know it was a rough launch but this shows you are invested in making a quality product for your customers!
Still waiting for the snow to melt and get out on my new V2. Amazing upgrades to the V3 and can’t wait. Thank you Apollo for looking after your customers.
Just received my v20 about 2 weeks ago and totally love this scooter. So stoked to hear and your folks are coming out with a V3 upgrade for the V2 can't wait!
Loving my V2. From a regular use perspective really excited for the upgraded turn signals and the locking feature through the app is a huge safety improvement. Yew!
This is great news!! I’ve seen videos of the fabled Phantom Ludo model but didn’t know how to get my hands on one. Went with a V2 as my first scooter and the fun is off the charts. Looks like I’ll get my Ludo upgrade soon enough though. Great work Apollo with the backwards compatibility.
Excellent job guys. 👏 keep it up. I have v1 phantom had neck problem but awesome people and warranty at apollo, they repalced it with v2 i also have eplorer no problem. Im glad we are be able to upgrade to v3. They care about customer. Scooters are still new market and apollo is changing that in Canada. They are always there for customer. Thank you. 😊
I've watched this video 5 times so far. Apollo scooters will be known as one of the best premium high performance scooters you can buy. Apollo rocks🤟quality in scooters. I just bought the V2 in March 2022. All I can say is.. OMG!, you have to buy one if your wondering whats missing in your life. I can wait for the V3 because the V2 rocks it, so buy a V2 first if you can. A truly, heavenly experience. That's a fact.
@@kresnaeng Hi, Ive honestly not had any wobble and have gone as fast as 70 kph and regularly go over 60 kph. The Quad suspension is great for off trails. I prefer cemented trails though just for my comfort. I have tackled 40° dirt hills no problems, lots of power. Thanks🤘
@@kresnaeng Hi, I couldn't wait myself and wanted the V2 and glad I did. My thinking was the more V2's they sell will help support with the V3 upgrade. I also like the idea everything is plug and play and doing the upgrade to V3 myself gives me experience. If you dont buy a V2 you'll never know how awesome it was. If you buy a V2 now you get another new bike at cost of a upgrade to V3 and the excitement of a new Phantom. The frame you don't have to worry about it is solid. Hope this helps.🤘
Love the new format. Love getting the most current information. Really love these amazing improvements. I am particularly happy about the front turn signals. When can I preorder?
Thank you for this video! It is great to see the innovation. I would definitely go with more raw videos as I find them more authentic and informative. If I didn't go completely on the electric unicycle train I would definitely consider a V3. I wish you all great success!
Very refreshing to see RAW footage rather than 'jazzed' up for marketing purposes. Don't get me wrong though I love that content too just nice to see behind the scenes from those that work tirelessly to bring us 'your customer base' a sneak peak into the long hours burning the midnight oil in R&D. Just purchased myself a Ghost today, kicking myself for not going all out on the Phantom but know it's the right decision for me being a scooter virgin. (Shout out to old mate 'Joe' of Electric Kicks in Melbourne / Your ONLY Aussie distributor. Thanks mate for your recommendation on the Ghost, much appreciated) Speaking of that...... APOLLO marketing / SALES really need to push their market further in Australia particularly in the Gold Coast region in the state of Queensland as its the No# 1 region for scootering down under. Just saying as NO ONE down here knows of Apollo it's all Kaabo and a very select few others to choose from so seriously SALES need to look into it as you'd absolutely KILL the market here with record sales (So very glad I did my online / You Tube research prior to purchasing my first ever scooter) Another shout out to ESG channel.... thanks Chuck, Big DawG and the whole gang for their influence on my decision. As you can see I've only just started to dip my feet in the untapped waters of this new and exciting world, honestly I can see myself being an Apollo devotee for many, MANY years to come! Just love the way your company goes about it when it comes to passion and drive, particularly what you do for your clientele it's those little things that make the world of difference to me and no doubt loads of others. Speaking of that you need parts readily available in the major cities / regions of Australia, not just via ONE distributor in Melbourne as it's going to be difficult for me should I have any issues with warranty having to ship my Ghost down to Melbourne from Gold Coast / Brisbane up in QLD. Perhaps contact the major retailers such as 'Scooter Hut' and 'CROOZE' (specialised scooter store located in Bundall on the Gold Coast) Anyway keep up the awesome work and push those boundaries in R&D, really think I'll end up with whatever Apollo model releases in the near future and beyond once I 'give up the Ghost' Hmmmm...... Perhaps a design that will rival the Nami Burn E ?!?!? For those out there wanting a true 'off road' or hardcore trial experience ? Now that would really shake up the market!
This video made made not only the Phantom V2 my next scooter, but Im loving Apollo as a company as well. I just bought an Emove Cruiser, and I like it, but Im ready for an upgrade. And the Phantom V2 (then V3) is the one!
One upgrade which will make this the perfect scooter is tubeless tires or tires similar to the Wolf King GT (with antipop). I was a V1 owner and kept getting flats, it was such a hassle to replace tires every few days.
These Apollo guys are the best they have this sincerity type of vibes you just can't help trusting your money is well spent cause they seem to always do the right thing even when you don't expect it & that 2yr warranty told me alot about this company & Chuck & company at FluidFree Ride NYC those guys are also the bomb 💣..round of aplus Apollo & FluidFree Ride..👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I love how apollo’s professionalism, energy and creativity is maturing in nearly all aspects. I’m dying to buy my second escoot, but the things I need seems beyond what’s available at a reasonable price (less than $1k for a commuter, $1-2k for my want a performance commuter, $2k+ for performance). My wants: true portability, less than 60 lbs for reasonable weight for carrying up stairs, quick folding stem and bars so i don’t catch anything while carrying it; dual motors for hills/bridges with 30mph and 30-40 mile range; safety, very well lit stem and deck for being seen on cloudy days & nights (i wouldn’t require a headlight as i would buy the headlight with the lumens I need), two tone horn that’s gentle for people and loud when in traffic; the extras, the folding bars should should have room for at least cellphone placement for gps mapping and headlight attachment; 10-11x3” tires, naturally, puncture resistant; ip rated. New ideas: a smart charger (quick, standard, trickle and maintenance modes) should be offered in lieu of the basic charger; deck turn signals are useless on sunny days but useful on darker days but rather than beaming fore and aft i would rather it was brighter but illuminating the ground fore/aft/side. Now can this be offered under $2k?
I’ve been riding a kaabo mantis 800w as a computer scooter in central London for the last 2.5 years and have clocked over 30000 miles in this time and it’s been a blast, but it’s time for a change. I like Apollo’s Mantra. Nearly purchased an Apollo v2 but decided the removal of the key was a big no go for me. I do like the no frills format btw. The UK moves one step closer to making private e-scooters legal ! More announcements on the 10th of May. Apollo please consider: 1:Indicator lights integrated into handlebar ends. 2:Glare and privacy cover for the screen. (Don’t want other computers seeing my speed) 3:Folding handlebars. If the Apollo app unlocks the phantom like I pay for items through my watch or phone, I will buy one.
Looking forward to this upgrade. I just received my V2 yesterday and the jerking at low speed is something I'll say good riddance to. I like the turn signal upgrade but I've decided to do my own 12V upgrades with additional turn signals on both front and rear. I am adding a 7" LED lightbar which is easily 20x brighter and only draws 2.1 amps at 12V (.4 amps on the 52V side). I already installed one on a Ghost and it's sick! I'm also adding a dual tone automotive horn with a relay and underglow LED's like the Ghost has. All of these run from a 12V voltage converter, available on Amazon for around 20 bucks. More light = more safety
Tesla 2.0 in the works here. Please let us know when you go public 😉 BTW love my V2 and can't wait. I used to race FPV drones (build, fly, crash, rebuild) and I'm not sure my wife is so keen on the new micromobility hobby. Love this stuff and your work and the rapid evolution of the... sport!
I love this format of video. Sure it's more for eScooter tech heads, but we are the people that our friends say "hey you're into eScooters, what would you recommend as a good scooter to buy"? After watching this video I would be telling my friends that Apollo Phantom's have great feature upgrade support and at cost price!
Amazing work, I am going to buy the v3 as soon as I get out, free or not. I really am an electric scooter enthusiast and those upgrades are all I ever wanted for my phantom. Before, I used to have a ninebot es4 and I loved the electronic ebrake and the anti theft using ebrake. I am very glad that this tech is coming to 52v models now. The new screen looks amazing and I can't wait to test the Ludo mode. I am also glad they the motor phase issue when accelerating at low speed is fixed. App connectivity is a welcome feature as well. But the biggest benefit for me is being able to control the throttle in a more accurate way. My dream is to be able to stay in Ludo mode all the time while being able to go at slow speed if I want to or being able to be in a crowded environment safely. To be honest, I was planning on upgrading to a Luda controller anyway haha. Great timing Apollo!
I wish you guys made similar upgrade packages available for Ghost owners. Personally, I feel left in the dust. I like my Ghost and at the very least I would’ve loved to have app connectivity but seems like Apollo stopped caring about the Ghost line.
The only reason the Phantom gets so much love is because they designed it in house. The Ghost ( I am a ghost owner too) is a re-make of a Chinese brand scooter, I believe Titan is the company. They have total control over this scooter and its internals, including the firmwares and algorithms.
I love me some speed & I can't wait for you guys at Apollo to make a real devil speedster that goes 60 & above cause I really like how you the owners are front & center compare to other scooter companies who you never see at all..👍🏽
Is there anything that simply cannot be upgraded from the V2 to V3? For example, will V2 owners be able to change the future front turn signals to an amber colour? That kind of thing. Thanks!
awesome video, your Phantom scooter was one of the scooter I was debating on getting for this upcoming summer for school and work and after watching this video im like 90 % sure ill be choosing to go with your scooter. Question i notice with a 3rd party company Fluid free ride they offer some of your scooters. Regarding your 2 year warranty, if i were to purchase your product through them would I still have that 2 year warranty? Or is that only if i buy directly from your website. Another question is you mentioned that Phantom V3 will become this summer, do you guys usually give discounts on your newer models during black Friday/Christmas?
So the Phantom is sold exclusively through Fluid Freeride in the US, and it is sold exclusively in Canada through the Apollo website (that's where I got mine). They did have a Black Friday deal where you could get a free Apollo Air with the purchase of a Phantom at full price, but if you wait until November you'll be missing an entire summer/fall of riding before the Winter hits.
I'm definitely looking forward for the v3.. If there was a pre-order, I would have done it already.. BUT it's taking too long and I might just order somethings else...
@@rootstriker1618 it arrived today in perfect condition took for ride and geez its awesome bit bummed about v3 hopefully upgrade pack is free for v2 owners
I really hope the v3 comes with front turn signals. That's one of the main things keeping me from buying the v2 to upgrade from my current one. Edit: should've watched the whole way through 😅 They've got 'em
Guerrilla video great With V3 controller compatible to up grade a V2 what besides front indicators and app connection will be in upgrade kit? Possible costs for Australia also timeline. Doing bar end indicators on my current V2. Have a wireless HUD for speed on helmet and looking at a rear view camera mode as well. Helmet is a LIVALL with wireless indicator switching and Bluetooth speaker mike phone connection and phone camera activation switch. This could be a nice upgrade to integrate into your design. Just a thought from my own experience.
will the V3 have the same look? or will it be a totally different look like your beautiful new Apollo city...man i sure hope so cause that change was massive and a beauty.
I was looking for the best scooter on the market for more than 2 years now. And finally I have found my Holy Grail of electric scooters. Yet still I have a problem: I am from Poland and can’t find any distributor in my country or Germany or Czech Repablic. Can tou help me and others with that? And final question whan we can expect delivery. Anyway congratulations, you’ve made an exelent job, building a nearly perfect one 👍
Same as the last upgrade kit? You just said these will be provided “at cost.. v1 to v2 kits were sold at just the cost of shipping. how is this exactly the same as before?
You guys should add RGB to the screen to give access to the customer to change the whole display settings from their cellphones and also have the ability to have many presets.
I have a V1 phantom ( with V2 neck ), and recently upgraded with the V2 kit. Much improved indeed but felt there could be more to take it to the next level. Simply put prayers answered?
Hey about that v2 neck. I have the brace, I remember vaguely hearing something that they would send out the thicker neck for free to v1 users (pay for shipping). Was that the case?? I didn't explore it or contact support about it. Winter came, scooter was put away etc..
@@swayz87 I received my brace from Electric Kicks ( in Melbourne Australia), for my V1 Phantom. Now it didn’t fit. Turns out the the neck had already been strengthened to the V2 specification of around 8 mm thick. Also when my stem is folded down it says ‘ Apollo ‘ , whereas the V1 says ‘ollopA ‘ ie upside down. Looks like for many the neck was strengthened before the official release.
I purchased one of the first V1 Phantoms. I have upgraded it to the V3. What a world of difference! Thanks for making such great machine. YOU ROCK!!!

90% of what your asking for you can get by buying Varla Pegasus for under $1200
VSett 9+?
I am a V1 owner and looking forward to my upgrades thank you
I’ve been riding a kaabo mantis 800w as a computer scooter in central London for the last 2.5 years and have clocked over 30000 miles in this time and it’s been a blast, but it’s time for a change. I like Apollo’s Mantra. Nearly purchased an Apollo v2 but decided the removal of the key was a big no go for me.
I do like the no frills format btw.
The UK moves one step closer to making private e-scooters legal ! More announcements on the 10th of May.
Apollo please consider:
1:Indicator lights integrated into handlebar ends.
2:Glare and privacy cover for the screen. (Don’t want other computers seeing my speed)
3:Folding handlebars.
If the Apollo app unlocks the phantom like I pay for items through my watch or phone, I will buy one.
yes would be mad good if u added a NFC reader and be able to use via iphone
Can’t wait to buy the v3!
Love the innovation! Great job guys!
Hey guys great video! Tons of information! Did you guys made that upgrade kit yet?
Info on the upgrade kit is coming :-)
I need this upgrade just for the lock 🔒 great job👍
Im gonna be jumping in for this model.
When will you guys start doing pre orders
This is awesome!
This is amazing, great work to all involved
So pretty much the V3 will be at the price range of the V2 60v?
You're going to love the V3. It is the best the Phantom has ever felt! - Randy
How bad is the jerking, is it like hard to ride? and is that just an issue in the highest gear?
Tesla 2.0 in the works here. Please let us know when you go public 😉
BTW love my V2 and can't wait. I used to race FPV drones (build, fly, crash, rebuild) and I'm not sure my wife is so keen on the new micromobility hobby. Love this stuff and your work and the rapid evolution of the... sport!
You guys convinced me to make my first purchase a phantom v2
When is the V3 coming out?
I love this format of video. Sure it's more for eScooter tech heads, but we are the people that our friends say "hey you're into eScooters, what would you recommend as a good scooter to buy"? After watching this video I would be telling my friends that Apollo Phantom's have great feature upgrade support and at cost price!
Oh my lord I need that throttle now!!!!!. I just got my v2 🥺
WOW! ITS SO AWESOME! I still like the hexagon led screen. It looks way more futuristic. I hope that will become available in the Philippines
Love the format. Put me down for a v3.
This is much better. More personal and we get to see the real people that make the scooters we love.
Any possibility that you guys will make an available hydraulic shock upgrade kit?
I wish you guys made similar upgrade packages available for Ghost owners. Personally, I feel left in the dust. I like my Ghost and at the very least I would’ve loved to have app connectivity but seems like Apollo stopped caring about the Ghost line.
And the Explore model.
The only reason the Phantom gets so much love is because they designed it in house. The Ghost ( I am a ghost owner too) is a re-make of a Chinese brand scooter, I believe Titan is the company. They have total control over this scooter and its internals, including the firmwares and algorithms.
@ApolloScooters, PLEASE will you implement folding Phantom handlebars? It's the one remaining part that can make or break the scooter's portability.
when will you start taking preorders?
Amazing. Can't wait
Late summer he says... Summer is when we want it!!
Yes this is exciting I can't wait to order !! :)
😍 i just need to know when! Preorders?
I love me some speed & I can't wait for you guys at Apollo to make a real devil speedster that goes 60 & above cause I really like how you the owners are front & center compare to other scooter companies who you never see at all..👍🏽
Is there anything that simply cannot be upgraded from the V2 to V3? For example, will V2 owners be able to change the future front turn signals to an amber colour? That kind of thing. Thanks!
Hi, in addition to my previous comment. May I suggest keeping the original more edgier design of the Hex display as it complements the wheel arms.
awesome video, your Phantom scooter was one of the scooter I was debating on getting for this upcoming summer for school and work and after watching this video im like 90 % sure ill be choosing to go with your scooter.
Love it 🥰
Feeling ripped just ordered a v2 from electrickicks haven't got it yet
Cancel order or return it lol if u can
@@rootstriker1618 it arrived today in perfect condition took for ride and geez its awesome bit bummed about v3 hopefully upgrade pack is free for v2 owners
I really hope the v3 comes with front turn signals. That's one of the main things keeping me from buying the v2 to upgrade from my current one.
Edit: should've watched the whole way through 😅 They've got 'em
Guerrilla video great
With V3 controller compatible to up grade a V2 what besides
front indicators and app connection will be in upgrade kit?
Possible costs for Australia also timeline.
Doing bar end indicators on my current V2.
Have a wireless HUD for speed on helmet and looking at a rear view camera mode as well.
Helmet is a LIVALL with wireless indicator switching and Bluetooth speaker mike phone connection and phone camera activation switch.
This could be a nice upgrade to integrate into your design.
Just a thought from my own experience.
Hopefully Phantom useable merch by Apollo would be sweet!
will the V3 have the same look? or will it be a totally different look like your beautiful new Apollo city...man i sure hope so cause that change was massive and a beauty.
Great job
What about the need to change to the 60v battery because of the new controller 👀
Great updates and will there be a 60v version of the V3 Phantom.
Greetings Apollo! I got my 60v hydraulic Phantom V2 today and I'm wondering if the v3 upgrade is going to he available for it too?
Stay tuned! We will be releasing more information soon ;-)
@@ApolloScooters cool thanks!
Great video! Awesome to see some BTS 😻
I’ll definitely upgrade if the kit is affordable V2 is just fine but would def like some upgrades performance
Great job guys!!!!
Thank you as always Mr.Rubinoff! How is thy chariot?
@@ApolloScooters it’s all good! Keeping an eye out for the 60v Ludo from my Apollo friends!
Could I ask about the new display brightness? Is it going to be as bright as display on v2?
Same as the last upgrade kit? You just said these will be provided “at cost.. v1 to v2 kits were sold at just the cost of shipping. how is this exactly the same as before?
I can't wait for the v3 upgrade for the 60V. I'm a new phantom v2 owner and I love it but the throttle response at low speeds can be a bit much.
Hey Doug,
We're excited too! You'll notice that the throttle is MUCH more responsive with this upgrade, especially at low speeds ;)
Trying to decide between an Apollo Phantom V2 or a Kaabo Mantis V2...or even a Wolf Warrior X or 11. Thoughts?
The Phantom :-)
You guys should add RGB to the screen to give access to the customer to change the whole display settings from their cellphones and also have the ability to have many presets.
Thanks for the feedback! - Randy
Very cool👍
