    Join us on an exciting adventure in the heart of Victoria Inner Harbor as we explore the amazing Apollo Phantom scooter with Jamie, the DoorDash pro! Jamie has been using this fantastic scooter for food deliveries, joy rides, and even some thrilling trails, covering an impressive 300 miles (500 kilometers) on it.
    In this review, Jamie shares his favorite features of the Apollo Phantom, including the smooth regenerative braking, comfortable ergonomics, and premium ride quality. The scooter's deck size and suspension make it perfect for long rides during food deliveries, ensuring that Jamie gets the hot food to customers quickly and efficiently.
    While the Apollo Phantom offers a high-power "Ludo mode," Jamie finds the lower gears more than sufficient, with speeds reaching over 30 mph (48 kph). This scooter truly feels like the big brother of the city, with precise controls and strong braking, both mechanical and regenerative.
    As we delve into Jamie's experience with UberEats and DoorDash deliveries, he reveals that he's having a blast while making good money. Jamie works around 6 to 7 hours per day, earning approximately $20 USD per hour (approximately $22 CAD) without worrying about gas fees. With his efficiency and dedication, Jamie is well on his way to becoming a Top Dasher on DoorDash!
    Despite the fantastic experience, Jamie shares a minor gripe about the scooter's rear fender, which he has removed temporarily to avoid rattling noises. But this doesn't take away from his overall positive opinion of the Apollo Phantom, which he considers the best delivery vehicle he has ever used.
    If you're interested in learning more about DoorDash and UberEats, or if you'd like to see more videos with Jamie riding around town, drop your comments below! Jamie might even become your go-to expert for all things DoorDash. Stay tuned for range tests and more thrilling content on this remarkable scooter.

    Nice video, I just got Inokim Oxo this week and really happy with it, also driving in second speed so far, and is pretty comfortable, battery is also good (26ah) and can do 50-65 miles if doing normal speeds, scooters are taking over now.

    That fender brace can be bent slightly to avoid rubbing. Just do it without the fender on using a vice grip just on the top inch on the brace.

    I tried this scooter too. Especially the regenerative braking. My concern is hearing about the tires constantly going flat for people, and with myself being almost 6’5” and size 13 shoe size I wished the deck was larger and handlebar height was taller.

    • @TimsElectric
      @TimsElectric  Рік тому +1

      Awesome @MrBalas3, FYI, flats can be mitigated by ensuring that the inner tubes are inflated properly...as to deck size...we have the same sized feet and I don't find it an issue on the Phantom...but being 6'5" might be an issue for some handlebars...I think Jamie is 6"3" and I'm just 6' so you can see what we think :)

      @@TimsElectricI saw your review of the Blade Pro and a handlebar height of 44”. That sounds nice. Do you recall if when riding it did you have it at max height? I know you’re a little shorter than me, but it looked low from my viewpoint. Also do you know if a seat can be added?

    Cool video. I have a Vig Blade (RIP) which I purchased a lot on Jamie's recommendation about how smooth it is. I don't regret my purchase but I am wondering if he could speak to which one he prefers overall between that one and the Phantom. I have had my eye on a Phantom for awhile and I'd like to hear his comparison on ride quality and usability. Also, people have been bringing up that the Phantom V3 is experiencing overheating problems with the controller. If he's busting out deliveries on it, has he experienced any of that?

    • @TimsElectric
      @TimsElectric  Рік тому +2

      Awesome questions @JaksIRL, I'll ask Jamie to reply here...but my two cents the Blade was epic :)

    • @jamiepereira78
      @jamiepereira78 Рік тому +4

      Hey there it's Jamie!
      As I recall my time spent with the blade I remember how smooth it was and the comfort level. In my opinion the suspension on the blade was more springy for my weight compared to the phantom with a bit stiffer suspension so in that regard I prefer the blade.
      (Keep in mind I only tested the blade PRO, not the blade so I'm not sure if there is any significant differences)
      I would say which one I would prefer would be the phantom because of the regen braking and because I have used it for much longer.
      In regards to the overheat problem, as of today the phantom has over 1000km now and I haven't experienced anything of the sort.
      (A tip would be after long extended riding to not plug it back in for 30 mins to let the controller cool down so it doesn't get overworked :).
      I hope this helps!
      Cheers.

      @@jamiepereira78 Vig Blade = Blade Pro. I am just a lazy typer. Even though the last thing I really need is another scooter, I am really considering ordering a Phantom. My commute takes me over the Selkirk bridge though and the Blade hardly even notices how rough it is when you dial down the suspension to full Pillow Mode.
