@@N1SHAJAYHE girl I ain’t even get the chance to do it 😩😩I was gonna do the research. But I heard apple cider vinegar and I think baking soda with lemon juice helps wash and get the dreads ready. Gotta do it several times til the water runs clean. I think they sit in there for a good 30 min to an hour depending on long it’s been since last hair appointment

When you retwist , then twist two of them together. Is that for style to last longer or permanent, so they loc into 1 larger loc?
its just a loc style and protective style, really helps the retwist hold n last. Usually its not permanent nor ment for long term, Just a look and protection that can last a few months. Yes sometimes it can be used to combine locs, but locing process may take longer.

You didn’t explain how you do the two strand twists. Which direction do you twist? How do you the the twists to stay together. Is there a rubber band on the end? Need more details please.
Use Rubbermaid on the ends but I fold the end up then band. I retwist to to right then two strand to the left.

You start from the back row and work your way up each row. No hair should be left out as it’s already parted.

Doing 2 strand is easy. Literally grab 2 strands & twist. How the heck do you keep it tight at the root is what I’m tryna figure out without clips? Everything be tight & nice til I put the rubber band on then it just loosens up.
I had this problem for a minute too. You twist the two strands individually first and make sure they are twisted in the same direction- Let’s say you twist both those strands to the left. When you go to twist them together, you wrap them around each other the opposite way. Since they would individually be twisted to the left, you would wrap them together to the right.
How do you know the direction to twist it on?

I just finished mines today and had an uneven row of locs. I had one out so I started the next row and use the one above to twist with it. Or you can braid it.
