In this video I am finally getting around to ranking all of the characters of Disventure Camp season 1, wrapping our DC season 1 journey! I am very excited to share my thoughts with you in this video, as to read yours in the comments so make sure to leave them there!

i didn’t like gabby in the beginning but i started to like her more once i saw all stars episode 1
even though she didn’t do that much lol
i liked gabby but she was meant to be someone who had a split personality and it wasnt really implemented in the season and she also screwed over dan who was the only one who was nice to her (other then ellie)

I’ll admit that I’m not the biggest fan of Gabby because of how the story approached her relationships with others. Clearly, she is coded to be struggling with some type of mental illness. The other contestants are not super patient with that, especially in contrast with Drew’s mutism. However, her first scene involved her threatening one of her teammates, and no one is required to be patient toward someone who is willing to do harm. What I was hoping from the season was a sense of mutual growth where the other members of her team learn how to work with her while she learns how to work with them and keep the more vindictive parts of her personality at bay. That’s what I thought they were doing with Dan, but he got eliminated before that storyline could even form. Truth be told, I thought there was going to be a reveal that Ellie was manipulating her for post-merge benefits because of the lack of time between the start of them bonding and her threatening Nick. I completely understand why other people like her, but for me, I felt like the story was telling me how I should feel about Gabby, rather than it making me feel positively toward her.
I think Miriam and Alec were my favorites. I like seeing how the more adult characters approached the nonsense around them in contrast with the younger ones. They offered a nice balance to the cast.
Here I thought Billy was gonna rank Trevor in D tier just for the LOLs

I agree that the best thing that happened to Tom and Jake was them breaking up. I really liked them in the beginning of their relationship cause it was a sweet friendship evolving to something more. But then they started having the same issues again and again cause Jake never seemed to learn, so it just became tiring to me, and he even voted on Tom when he was eliminated. Tom deserves better and I really hope that they don’t get back together in season 2. Tom needs a healthy relationship and Jake needs therapy.

I 100% agree w the Ashley take, but I feel like since she’s in All Stars, that’ll be her season to become a more fleshed out character. Still upset that Rosa Maria didn’t take her spot

I do agree that Rosa should have been in all stars. All I’m hoping is that she’s not another filler character and gets a great story.
Honestly I think total drama needed a character like Rosa altogether. She had no story, her purpose was to start everyone else’s story

Rosa declined invitation to compete in the season. If you like her as a character, then respect her opinion.

despite ashley being one of my favourite season one characters i really agree with you i would have much preferred if she was the only one from her original alliance who had to struggle to get to the merge and carry on lills legacy but instead she didnt really do anything but hug lill after they got eliminated together

My Tied 3rd Favourite Grandmother, with a Gansta!!! Why Miriam doesn't get 1st Place or 2nd: Those are my Real Grandmothers who are Tied 1st!!!
Good analysis but i really didn't like how many duos made it to the top 6 together. This is controversial but Tom's story shoulda ended much much sooner than it did. Dan was a very bland character but at least if he made merge someone who wasn't overly tied to anyone had a potential shot. Gabby shoulda been out by sacrificing herself for Ellie then had Dan first eliminated merge boot instead. I woulda had Grett take revenge on the Teal Team by getting Dan out and then Tom out straight after in the Zombie challenge then had Grett be out 6th in the collecting medal challenge almost giving the viewers that Jake and Miriam are in trouble only for Grett to be idoled out or something, as for her revenge against the Teal team was not it for me other than getting Gabby out. Personally i liked Grett but her Beta version i found better on how more ruthless she was. Didn't like Lill and Ashley out in the same episode i think maybe Ashley coulda done with another episode or so then booted her. Didn't care much for Will,Drew or Nick their placements are fine too but the big issue was the reveal with Jensen and the hosts with the animal killing it did feel kinda meh with the build up too it also the fact they never actually tell us what exactly Gabby saw or why the heck she went into a random ass room and saw something was weird all we get is she finds out from the receptionist they where killing animals THATS IT nothing else i think if they had written it a lil more on the darker side with having the contestants being held hostage and being forced to help Jensen slaughter the animals for Fur Trade at a secret room at the Motel woulda made for better story telling, and lastly the hosts and Jensen where just under underwhelming in general and i hope they do actually get a backstory this time and my least favourite characters where def Jake and Ellie
Ellie's rant against Jake was my probably my #2 or #3 favorite moment of the season, so cathartic
For me Trevor is in the "Stop being this cool" Tier

Perhaps I’m weird, but I actually like everyone from Disventure Camp (both seasons!), some more than others, but there’s no one I actively dislike.
That said, Gabby is the best character

I love Gabby!❤❤❤❤ I love her quirky optimistic hyperactive energy. Ngl, but muted characters are just plain. Also is it just me or does the silent ones go early. For example: B, Beardo and Drew. This makes it hard for us fans to know the charaters personality. Imo Ashley's average. She's nice and funny but I feel she's missing something. If only Ashley realised Fiore was evil. If only!!! Jake started off from being a nice guy to being a whiny guy .I mean he has been through ALOT this season.I hope he gets more development and grows as a person.
Oh, and btw I love Trevor and I like how you treated Trevor as your son in the beginning.😂❤❤❤ Adorbs!!❤

I thought Will and Nick were both great characters for what they were (especially Nick), but I guess that's probably because I had not ever seen or heard of the original Adventure Camp before watching this one.
I do see Alec was a little bit obsessed with Fiore like it was crazy how he kept protecting him and liked her more than his own son lol
This was a pretty cool Tier list.

How can I be part of the cast of disventure camp ?
As somebody whose favourite character is Ellie, I was triggered by her ranking here. She is so charismatic whilst always sounding so… calm. I love the storyline where she is pressured to tamper with the game and instantly feels bad afterwards. And when she snapped at Jake? Mwa. Perfect scene. I was rooting for her to win even though I knew she probably wouldn’t.
Edit: I rewatched the season and OH MY FREAKING GOD Gabby is SO MUCH better than I remember! I still think Ellie is amazing, but after experiencing it again, I would put Gabby and Fiore in front of her.
For no reason,ever since disventure camp S1 started,i was always under the headcanon of if Trevor has Autism or ADHD,CUZ IT KILLS ME TO KNOW DOES TREVOR HAVE AUTISM OR ADHD? CUZ WHAT ARE THE CHANCES? :,)

Early game Gabby, would be D'oh for me, she was kind of whiny in the first few episodes with being voted from her original team and getting voted by Dan, but after about 4 episodes she got better development and I'd put her in Beautifully Average, but by episode 5 or 6 she was Stop Being This Cool.
