I’ve got 500 rds through mine, various grains, ball & hollows no issues. No failures to date. I did mirror polish the feed ramp day one, cleaned & oiled before ranging with it. No issues so far so good. I have the coarse grips, good gun.

In the real world there are Glock guys and there are kimber guys. I have and love both. But by the time you change the trigger, sights, grip tape, etc, etc you end up spending almost as much on your plastic wonder is you do on this kimber. There are people who love polymer guns and people who love all metal guns and neither will agree that the other is better. Personally I love my kimbers!
I agree 👍🏻 both have their time and place.! I own both as well but I agree there is just something about kimbers and 1911/2011 that can not he ignored.! We appreciate the feedback brother. Consider subscribing if you haven't already.!
Mine is at kimber right now. FTF 50% of the time. Extremely disappointed bro after spending 1800. I might sell it and buy a wilson combat

My brand new KDs9C does not work, pure and simple. More than half the rounds jam on the feed ramp going into the chamber, meaning out of every 15 round magazine 10, 11, 12 or all rounds jammed. And no tap and rack would fix it. The gun came with 2 magazines and both magazines jam. I tried different types of ammo and every brand of ammo jammed. Some guy walked up to me at the range before I fired my first shot and told me his new KDs9C jams. He stood by and watched my first shots and to no surpise the gun just jammed. $1,700 and all I have is a gun that simply does not work. My magazines are very loose so maybe we both had a bad batch of magazines. But every time you say “she runs” I just cringe. My KD9SC does not work. I am almost 60 and this is by far the worst gun I have ever purchased.
I think that if you spend 1200 dollars on a side arm it should function way more than this gun did. I feel like the kds9c rail is a fail for Kimber and definitely not a good gun for your awesome channel. Guys you really should stick with guns for edc and war belt guns. No nonsense guns like Glock and M and P they are top dogs for a reason. Send them some of your vids. You guys have a good thing going and I feel like it would pay off
Thanks for the feedback brother. Decided to do a review on it since I bought it and it was new, but moving foward we are doing alot of the battle tested stuff and gear stuff also going to do some rifle stuff soon. Stay tuned

Damn brother sorry to hear we have had a hand full but we were running the gun dirty but other than that she does run for us. Reach out to kimber and see what they say let them try to make it right... that being said 1911 style guns do have a break in period. Keep us posted on how kimber responds we will update on the next video
I just bought my rail version, i sent back to them after 3 mags. I love Kimber and their customer service. They had for 3 days and returned to me……. It’s so very sweet now. I dont mind sending a gun back for a little extra attention. I think it comes back better than over the counter
@kengroat7992 We are glad to hear they made it right. i have heard good things about Kimbers customer service, just 3 days of actual work, and maybe a week or 2 of turnaround for shipping sounds solid. We have had minimal issues with ours, but it's nothing that every 1911 deals with.
