Great job Derek ! Your video and the one from LG Kustom are good inspiration for me when I’ll fit the vent on my roadster.

As the others have said good job on the vent. And talking of lg speed I also watch Bennett’s and make it custom and Mike bello. And for car shows I watch 37 spiker and nick pettitt. Many thanks Derek and the camera lady. Tim.

Not always no, things don't go to plan a lot of times. It's hard to show everything.

New to your channel, you're doing some great metal work. A little longer and a little more in depth for the work you're doing. It would have been neat yo see how you patched that punctured panel.

Hi, we're working on more detail. It's hard to judge how much to put in sometimes as it depends on who's watching. With your feedback it helps. That particular hole I weld filled. First I dollied it as flat as possible. Then I welded two cracks radiating from the center. These I dollied flat. Then I slowly welded round and round the hole til I closed it in. There was quite a bit of heat but stopped quite a few times to let it cool and dollied any little warps. After it was closed I ground both sides till it was almost the sheet metal thickness and dollied out any little warps. The heat helped shrink in the stretched metal from the dent. This doesn't always work BTW. Sometimes you have to weld in a patch.
