You've done it again Robin, brill vid. I took your advice a few months ago when you did a review of Hanz De Fuko and I am still loving it and it goes such a long way. It all comes down to personal choice like you said, that being said it is still great that you do these vids so that we can make a decision based on your verdicts, as always Robin, keep up the good work because your work is greatly appreciated. Again thank you.
Well done Robin! Love the Brand battle idea. Will be viewing all of those you do in the future! Also thanks for not being biased to a certain product when you review or battle them! I appreciate you my good sir! Keep it up!
HANZ DE FUKO VS BY VILLAIN The two biggest youtube hair products. OR HANZ DE FUKO VS PETE AND PEDRO I think these lines are very similar, from packaging to the actual product.
Robin, Robin, Robin. What can I honestly say? The attention to detail you have by the quality of your videos is superb. The way you film, your studio the fact that in the description you mention how recently and how you cut your hair and what you used, all your outfit links, the list is long. Keep it up, you're honestly one of my favourite fashion bloggers and your videos are wonderful, I've been following since you were The Utter Gutter buying white jeans which got a dirty print on the butt haha! You're lovely, don't stop. ✌🏽️
Thank you for all your suggestions. For some products that I've already mentioned (and didn't like using) in previous videos, I won't be featuring them again. I want to ensure that these are products that I personally would endorse for you to use. It would be an unfair 'Brand Battle' if I already had said I wouldn't recommend it.
Awesome! I've been using Uppercut Pomade for a while now because I'm from Australia, and it's really easy to get. Can definitely recommend it. Smells of coconut and washes out with water.
Baxter of California hard creme pomade vs any other creme hair product. Seriously though the hard creme pomade is my new favorite hair product and the glass jar is beautiful on display with the pink colored product in it. I think you would really enjoy it Robin! Btw I can't wait for you to hit that 100,000 subscribers mark! You deserve it and more
Please do a comparison video on Hanz de Fuko Claymation and Da'Dude Da'Wax please! Literally both don't have any cons and its so hard for me to choose from! By the way, love your videos :)
hey +Robin congrats on upcomming 100,000 subscribers ,,,,keep up the great work you are doing,,,,,,,,,,,i just love your channel,,,itz one of the best channels ever,,itz just awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
very very accurate and detailed reviews, i like it very much one thing about the uppercut, its crazy hard to remove from your hair. I think they might have oil-based in it. Its so hard to wash out after 2 shampoos, you just need more ... Hanz de fuko is water based for sure so its easy to wash out as nothing in your hair. thats the only thing annoying bout the uppercut
Hey robin thought it would be worth mentioning but I really feel the packaging with uppercut is extremely well done. Mostly because although many good reviews and opinions on hanz de fuko, I still chose to go with uppercut purely on the packaging of the tub as I find myself so drawn to it. Just shows how big a part packaging can play for brands
Gatsby moving rubber grunge matt vs any high end hair product. I am living on an island which only sells gatsby on the drugstore so i want to know how good or bad is the gatsby.
I've used both and claymation was fine but I really didn't like uppercut clay. My hair is thick, wavy, coarse snd a bit dry. I found it hard to apply, ripped out a few hairs and it only last about 4 to 5 hours before falling apart. I used the same styling method with both.
billie paraskevo quicksand gives me a messy look I love I haven't used claymation more than once. Claymation is good too but it gives more volume in my opinion
If the newer format had been used here (where styling and hold for example are both worth 4 points), then Uppercut Deluxe would have been a clear winner
As usual Very Nice video!!! Robin i would like to ask you...do you use clay only on dry hair or on damp hair as well? Thank you very much! Best Regards from Athens-Greece!
I got uppercut and it was already two years old and dried out. Uppercut said through the shop that it should be fine, but it pulls my hair out by the roots when I apply it - even after a ton of warming up. Watch out for the date. I don’t think uppercut did anything about it. I think the shop owner is eating the loss by giving me another product.
no vnm I live in Australia and was thinking about buying it, do you think it's worth it because the only thing making me want to buy HDF instead of uppercut is that uppercut is hard to wash out apparently
Being able to wash it easy is an important factor if you want to use a product daily. Otherwise its most likely gonna build up in your hair which isnt great if you want more volume in your hair and it just feels dirty laying your head with hairproduct on it on your pillow.
Very well presented and an amazing idea for a series, Robin. I look forward to more of these!
UA-camr product brand battle, Pete and Pedro putty vs Blumaan Meraki
EveryMan | The Men's Lifestyle Channel I want to see him do something with both of these, but they're such different products

THE WAY HE SMELLS THE PRODUCTS 😂 IM DYING
I like the way you say "buh-bye". Sometimes I say it back to my phone or computer because I'm lonely. Buh bye.
brand battle is definitely awesome! keep the videos coming!

What about byvilain
Tarun sai I don't think he uses By Vilain products.
Do these more please. This is a very original idea and you're answering questions on many people's mind.
Awesome! I've been using Uppercut Pomade for a while now because I'm from Australia, and it's really easy to get. Can definitely recommend it. Smells of coconut and washes out with water.

Hey - I could totally do that
Robin James thanks the tigi shampoo and conditioner retail for £10 each but you 750ml. I really like your vids💁🏼
So happy wen I seen this title, been scouring youtube for a good review on the uppercut products particulary this one
I like the idea of brand battles
lockhart matte clay vs hanz de fuko claymation
blumaan vs hanz de fuko claymation,it has never been done

Villain vs Kevin Murphy
Omg you're finally saying "I'm very well thank you again"

Thank dood, you're very helpful.
do a traditional classic "oil based pomade'' battle..something more vintage..you should make this a permanent series..awesome vid as always robin!!!
You do need to review/brand battle the Slikhaar products! I think they are better than HDF, but would be keen to see what you think!
can u do more videos with hanz de fuko quicksand
I thought uppercut Deluxe was WAY too greasy.
Bobzeda Agreed.
hanz de fuko claymation vs by villain silver fox
Please do a comparison video on Hanz de Fuko Claymation and Da'Dude Da'Wax please! Literally both don't have any cons and its so hard for me to choose from! By the way, love your videos :)
Bedhead Separation Wax vs Fudge or Hanz De Fuko maybe?
Peter Ghaly bedhead is absolute shit compared to claymation
Really? Why's that?
Peter Ghaly just look at their prices
Your comparing how good or bad they are against each other based on price? You can get cheaper products that are just as good.
Show me a cheaper option as good as Claymation.
hey +Robin congrats on upcomming 100,000 subscribers ,,,,keep up the great work you are doing,,,,,,,,,,,i just love your channel,,,itz one of the best channels ever,,itz just awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You said you don't massively rate them but you said it was your go to in another video
Kevin Murphy vs American Crew
Ok Thanks
Great job as always Robin, could you possibly make a video on how to tame frizz? I know its something me and many other guys struggle with
very very accurate and detailed reviews, i like it very much

Hanz de fuko is water based for sure so its easy to wash out as nothing in your hair.
thats the only thing annoying bout the uppercut
I love this battle products u should do more videos like this
Please do hanz de fuko Quicksand vs any other product!!!
Could you do a top 5 or 10 best Clays??? And prestylers
Could you please do a battle between Uppercut Red VS Reuzel Blue?
Im a big fan of urs.pls post a video of a clay that has the best hold
do the paul mitchell, mitch reformer and material
morris motley styling balm vs daimon barber nr 4 pomade clay
Hey robin thought it would be worth mentioning but I really feel the packaging with uppercut is extremely well done. Gatsby moving rubber grunge matt vs any high end hair product. I am living on an island which only sells gatsby on the drugstore so i want to know how good or bad is the gatsby.
Umar Aziz if it's in a drug store it's probably a knock off
I personally use monster hold by uppercut deluxe and I get amazing hold, volume, and it smells great.
Can you do sponge wax vs Pete and Pedro?
I've used both and claymation was fine but I really didn't like uppercut clay. My hair is thick, wavy, coarse snd a bit dry. I found it hard to apply, ripped out a few hairs and it only last about 4 to 5 hours before falling apart. I used the same styling method with both.
What is a inexpensive product for longish hair. Ideally I would like a strong hold matte finish. Any recommendations are helpful.
Label.m's deconstructor retails for around 14 dollars, 5 dollars cheaper than HDF's Claymation
SpaceFetus thank you
claymation or quicksand?
Their purpose is completely different tho.
Tsar Marklovski My aim is a messy voluminous hairstyle
clay for thick , qs for thin, i mix both and really love them
billie paraskevo quicksand gives me a messy look I love I haven't used claymation more than once. Claymation is good too but it gives more volume in my opinion
***** do you know if claymation is in any way similar to the gravity paste?
If the newer format had been used here (where styling and hold for example are both worth 4 points), then Uppercut Deluxe would have been a clear winner
Yes! Claymation won. I use it everyday
As usual Very Nice video!!! Robin i would like to ask you...do you use clay
only on dry hair or on damp hair as well?
Thank you very much! Best Regards from Athens-Greece!
I like the idea of "brand battle "👍🏻
Love Claymation 👍🏻🆒✂️🍸

the uppercut clay is great ! you should try it guys
no vnm I live in Australia and was thinking about buying it, do you think it's worth it because the only thing making me want to buy HDF instead of uppercut is that uppercut is hard to wash out apparently
Can you Do a hairgel brand battle
Kevin murphy vs Bedhead.....for bedhair/messy hair look!!!
I think u should do a battle between hanz de fuko and blumaan......I wanna see who will win
heey robin ;) have you ever tried the reuzel hair product ? and what do you think about it ? NICE video btw ;)
Robin, can you make a review for kevin murphy night rider? It would help me very much.
Hi Robin, try one of the "Reuzel" line from the Barber "Schorem" (Look at their videos) VS Suavecito pomade
Hanz may have won in number of points, but uppercut won where it counts. I know which to buy now
Shear revival crystal lake vs o'douds water based
Silver Fox vs Hairbond Shaper ?
You should try baxter of california clay pomade. One my favorite clays.
True
Dario Sutic where can you find it
It melts in hot weather
Good vid Keep it up
By Vilian vs Bluman meraki
By Vilian dynamite clay*
Every time I try and use Uppercut clay it just feels like I'm ripping my scalp out, it just doesn't spread.
Being able to wash it easy is an important factor if you want to use a product daily. Otherwise its most likely gonna build up in your hair which isnt great if you want more volume in your hair and it just feels dirty laying your head with hairproduct on it on your pillow.
Out of these two, which one is better for fine/thinning hair?
@robinjames Layrite original pomade vs Kingbrown Original Pomade
I reckon you should do 2 products that you don't like as well
Compare some pomade brands! Maybe Layrite vs Starwax or something along those lines :)
next should be petepedro putty vs go247 cream wax
Ali Almaidan the fuck is go247
Sam Crowder google it
