😉 From my Lounge Piano Series Ep.46, I decided to cover Africa at home. Because I’m super lazy for counting how many times they repeated the same parts 😝, I Googled sheet music and look what I found!!

I played the whole book, and enjoyed crazy! I thought Africa isn’t enough. So, I picked my favorite upbeat tunes and made a medley.

Toto is with me since Hold the line. Great awesome stuff, whatever their released.
I can remember way back in the 70ies, when I went with my parents after I had my church organo lessons, to the big shopping mall.
I always ended up at the place where the records were. Holding Toto’s Album in my hands, knowing that I am not allowed to take it home with me.
Classical music was allowed, as my piano lessons were based on classics.
Now today you, my dear Sangah show up with the most wonderful bouquet of Toto songs, each blossom of it carries a memory and takes me back to the times, when it was blooming on the lane of charts. You didn’t even forget to put the entire scenery in purple light, as it is Toto’s color. Beautifully dressed up and with here topping of and outstanding smile what makes you really special, you are standing there with this bouquet.
I guess it your Easter bouquet for us .... happy Easter to you too

Oh thank you so much for sharing your memory Dee! I also remember how my piano teachers laughed at pop and jazz music. I also took classical piano lessons. Thankfully, my parents were open for any kind of music! My dad is a bit more classical man, but my mom is truly open for all kind of music. Maybe that's why I know a lot of old pop songs.

I love Toto. ''I wont Hold You Back' is my favorite tune they did. They released a live in Amsterdam CD yrs ago. I have watched it a 100 times. Lukather's performance is utterly mindblowing. One of the greatest guitar players ever. I used to cover many of their songs in various cabaret groups I was in.
