I’ve looked at literally every Nordhavn videos - this is by far the most “perfect” configuration for me, I’d buy this in a heartbeat.....if I had the finances to do so (few years off that goal yet).
Good video of a lovely boat, so why does the internet bring out the dark & bitter side of so many people? If we're lucky, we live for 840 months - give or take - on our beautiful planet. Don't waste your life being nasty to others who have different likes & dislikes. There are 1000's of people across the world who will get out of their beds this morning, but they won't be going back to bed tonight! ENJOY life, and "pay it forward" if you can.
A beautiful SEAWORTHY looking ship! Comfortable AND safe with all the amenities one could need! Can deal with whatever the seas/weather can "dish" out, I'll bet. Cruise and always be relaxed. Perfect! Thanks
Not only does a single main engine cut fuel consumption, it also cuts long term maintenance. The wing engine never needs to be overhauled, because it will never gets many hours. It is smart.
A single main engine does raise concerns for long blue water trips though. Same reason single engine aircraft are not allowed to travel more than a few hundred miles away from a diversion airport. Up until the 90's you needed 3 engines to be certified for transatlantic. Modern engines are reliable enough that twins are being certified.
I always prefer twins for that reason, whether talking about a 25' fishing boat, a 150' boat, or an aircraft. I hate triples and quads though. There are diminishing returns on extra engines, for speed, reliability, and safety.
@@p51mustang24 This has a reserve engine to get you to the destination if your main engine fails. This is not like a single engine plane that splashes down and kills you when the engine fails. It is more like the twin engine plane versus 3 engine. An engine out scenario is a little more inelegant, but still workable.
@@p51mustang24 You have no idea what you are talking about, I used to ferry Cessna Caravans to Hawaii and to Europe with extra tanks all the time....Over water flights just require a raft...
@@p51mustang24 Nordhavns haven't had any problems crossing oceans on one engine. And it's large commercial airliners that have been approved for over ocean outside of certain distances with two engines. Single engine aircraft have to have an alternate airport if IFR and the weather at destination is predicted to be below weather minimums for that airport.
Awesome trawler, well-done video! A little heavy on the wood for me but still just about perfect. The tender fueling station on the starboard side seems like a nice touch to me, but what do I know? :) Was that a wine cooler I spotted?
I see lots of these videos. My wife and I plan on getting one in a few years. Question: why doesn't anyone put a scooter (in Vespa) up on the boat deck? That way you could lift it down wherever you dock and would then have easy land transportationm
well it sold ! now just have to save and wait for it to come back for sale at a much cheaper price **** thats the way it happends most of the time unless it sinks which I doubt
a 20k generator is pretty small. You couldn't at anchor run the bridge electronics, while cooking dinner on the stove or oven and have the laundry dryer going. Plus having all of your refrigeration and freezer going for food storage. You would need at least a 60k gen.
Much better presentation than the guy with the floppy hat and big hands saying everything is beautiful and did you notice this and that, and oh, notice the beautiful wood.
Just a little heads up.....the music you play during your narrative of the boat drowns you out. I think it would be better if there were no music so one could understand what you are saying. Just saying.
If you need more fuel to extend range, get a fitted bladder tank on the cockpit and fill that up. You can also fit a sausage tank in the gap between the Portuguese bridge for extra range.
I’ve seen a boat with the same name that I believe is the same boat at a local pier. The hull color is white but the name is printed in the same font and styling. Has this boat found a new owner?
Don't you just love it, when you have people who have lots of money, talk about their boat, with a few boat terminologys and completely fake it. Not sure i'd go to sea with anyone of them.
Something just didn’t look right . I should take it out for sea trials to the islands just to be on the safe side. I’ll furnish my dive gear and spearfishing equipment.
What type of training does Denison/Nordhavn provide for a resale of this type. What is the level of documentation from NV? I.E. plumbing, electrical, mechanical drawings, manuals etc. What is the state of the service/crushing records for the boat since delivery. Finally... NOT a Furuno/Simrad fan.... What’s a ball park to Garmin the boat?
Every 10 years or so, you update the electronics, so with it being 2013 model, you're rapidly approaching when you could refit it with Garmin or anything else you'd like.
Let's 10 of us go in on this boat together. We'll split the purchase price, monthly mooring fees and maintenance. Then, one night, one of us will take it and never be heard from again. I pray it's me.

i love the 60. it's the perfect split between size, presence, and maneuverability; dream boat right here.

A magnificent ship! Stunning, robust and beautiful! Great videography!
Beautiful ship and Denison always does a wonderful job on the videos
yes, the forward rake windows are great, strikes fear into lessor boats !
😂
Every time I watch the video I fall in love with a different part of the boat.
Classic Nordhavn.
Always love your vids guys. This vessel is just amazing, Big spec, nice n clean, well apart from the grill!. Stunning. 😉👍
Sweet very nice boat love the woodwork
I love the Nordhavn yachts! I especially love the range!

Nice boat and a super smooth walkthrough.
Very beautiful and thoughtfully made. Can easily carry 10 bodies. Can't wait for mine!
Nordhavn. Awesome brand.
Captain's cabin in a 60ft boat, amazing. I hope nordhavn can build a bigger boat than 120.
I've seen they have a 148' in the works !
My buddy told me 148 and and sneak tell I think he slip up a 178 he works for that company
I'm very sorry but I cannot find any reason this beauty shouldn't be given away to someone like me who's really nice person.

One of the best outfitted Nordhavns available
Sehr schöne Yacht! Good work guys! 👍🏻
I prefer sunseeker shape and cabin layout but if I was at sea in a storm I would rather be in a nordhaven
Would make a great winter home.
She is a work of art, what I would do for a boat like that. I'm without words.

I enjoy privacy and what I like about this amazing vessel is that with a family member or two I would not need a captain or crew.
I've always been a fan of Nordhavn - great boats. I think this vessel needs more cold storage to compliment its amazing range.
its now my dream to someday buy a nordhavn and live away in the sea for weeks alone.
Agreed i think i would rather buy a nordhaven than a home. On my weekends i would sail out to sea and on my vacations i would sail to another country.
I like how the presenter just rolled outta bed and did the video.
That'd be nice; also a shower and maybe some clean clothes, but not for me, for his own self-respect.
Sweeeet Ride! Nice video! Thanks for sharing!
What a beauty!!
Great boat, really well thought out design. I really wish Nordhavn made these in a steel hull.
Wish we could win the lottery and upgrade from our Nordhavn40 to this! 😄. Wow!!!
Glad you like her!
JUST BEAUTIFUL !
so proud to see my country's flag on the boat
OMG, that is the perfect yacht! 😍
We're glad you love her. Thanks for the comment :)
Jarrett, Ryan Alexander could not have done a better job! Thank you.
I see lots of these videos.
My wife and I plan on getting one in a few years.
Question: why doesn't anyone put a scooter (in Vespa) up on the boat deck? That way you could lift it down wherever you dock and would then have easy land transportationm
Because of registration issues. Each country you go to will have different road and licensing rules.
That would be pretty nice wouldn't it. I am sure you can make that happen.
"E" bike would work.
Beautiful yacht!
Could I sail from the West Coast to Hawaii (about 2,500 miles) with this without too much risk?
Decent boat, I'd have appointed it differently. Love Nordhaven's though.
Such a beautiful yacht and hull. Even though I'm not all for trawlers, but s hatteras guy, I'm a fan of these trawlers.
They are stunning boats that is for sure. Glad you like this one.
Lovely informative presentation.
Did I miss the crew cabin besides captains quarters?
Scooter Pi a 60’ boat doesn’t require a crew. It’s handled easily by a couple.

Damn another thing that I will never be able to afford.
Truly amazing,
A fantastic boat!

Great review. Thanks.
Is this an expedition yacht or a trawler, is it both?
Beautiful boat
Thanks, Paul!
Great video! Lovely yacht! But you don't need the distracting background noise.
Nice boat and nice video :)
Quick question if u had a budget of 2.5 million would u get used nordhavn or new absolute ( 1000 mile range at least) please help
excellent presentation.
Retirement boat for me. Want it!!

Loved all about this 60N until the flybridge. By facing up the sky sees the monitor better than the helmsman 🤔
Walk through the master to access the guest cabins?
Super! I want this one!
Can add additional fuel tank ?
New ship price tag is how much ?
1.8 million
Thanks guys 👌

beautiful boat. though i'm just not a fan of all that shiny wood. seems a bit excessive.
What was the price of this one
beautiful!!!!
Is this Chopin re worked ?
Is there a discount for the dent in the dishwasher?
