That simple elegant way of creating the new pattern, was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

Amazing!! Did you make the pattern and add some sleeves to a shirt?? I would love to see it!!

Haha, not yet. The original plan was to make some slightly puffed shoulders for a chamber robe, but I went with a pelerine instead.
Now the puffy sleeves will be reserved for a frock coat for a mannequin I have. :)

you're the best Jane!! I absolutely love this video for 2 reasons. How concise it was and how easy it was to retain all the information because it was so short and sweet!!! You are the winner for DIY sewing videos** PLEASE do more focused on sewing techniques** anything you're good at***. I'd love something this simple, showing me how to do collars, zippers, lining.... Etc, etc. Thanks again! You're great 😃

This is a pretty good video, but it would be a lot better if you just spoke in a normal tone of voice.
    Honestly.
It's very annoying, and you sound like the weather girl on the 6:00 news.
I did very much appreciate the tutorial, though, so I liked your vid.

I read this comment while the ad was playing and at first I thought this was harsh, but I completely agree. Natural is best and will reach more people. This was too rehearsed and robotic. Great video though. Can't wait to try!🤗

Thanks for the feedback! I'm a radio/tv person by trade so sometimes I slip into the "announcer voice" I'll try to tone it down!! But super happy you like the video! Thank you!!!
