No matter what I get an idea to do, I can always count on you to have a video to show me how to do it. Thank you for your helpful instructions on just about everything!
This is a super important how-to because like you said, it's brilliant to use sleeves you like from a shirt whose bodice/collar is bad! Or fix bad sleeves on an otherwise cool shirt.
We also want to add like a little triangle gusset underneath to make it not go up in our armpits quite so much... If you do one of those, I'd love to see it.
Thank you so much for this video I needed different sleeves on a sweatshirt for a cosplay this was perfect and it looks amazing! Thank you for the simple and easy tutorial people like you posting your knowledge online is amazing
I'm a 56-year young woman. I love the rib knit shirts. I have a few cropped ones I wear under my tank tops that hang low in the sleeves. Watching this video I was thinking that we could hack a bottom into a cropped top but I really not sure how.(I don't like my belly showing) Do you have a video on that? I thought taking a pretty opaque fabric would look amazing. I live in West Tennessee and it's hot/humid in the summer so I wear a lot of natural fibers.
I have to 'hack' all my tops. This sounds like a fun challenge. Are you going to try? I am just beginning the process of configuring a sloper for my upper body. Argh. So eager to get a working sloper! I want to try it ALL!
Thank you so much! I had a free pattern for a jacket that the pattern notches and sleeve size was incorrect, and it talking a biigggg difference that wasn’t supposed to be there. This was really helpful for correcting it without throwing the project away
Love this video. I do appreciate you sharing this video with us. It will be so helpful when I work on the projects I have. TYSM for sharing this video with us. Love your channel. 😻❣️😍
What stitch for an upcycled sweater hoodie if you want a color blocked item for a character cospa? I'm trying to recreate a webtoon outfit for Senorita Cometa which involves black sweater with blue sleeves but hand sewing since I don't have or wish to own a sewing machine. What is your option on a stitch , hem or something strong enough with any strong blue thread about what type, weight or material would be adequate. New to this and a bit rusty. Mostly into crochet but this is for the outfit I was planning to try this year after a long hiatus. Thanks! Even got a standing bust model to see it in a 3d fashion to get a better picture.
Thank you for reaching out with such a detailed question! I recommend using a backstitch for strength and durability in hand-sewing your color-blocked hoodie.

Thank you 😊
Looks cute! Next do one on how to add an upcycled bodysuit to sleeves 😁
Lol 😂
Yes! I often find cute tee shirts but the sleeves are too short ( I want to cover my flabby old lady arms) . This is a great idea 🙂
Who says we can't rock cute tee shirts with longer sleeves and slay the fashion game? Happy sewing. 🎀🧵
Love this!
If you make a sleeve upcycle send me pics! 💕
I'm always finding sleeveless that I really like but won't wear without sleeves! Next projects
Yessss ☺️ send pics!
Love this 💜
Love your videos 😊 xxx
Thank you 😊 Happy sewing 🧵
Hi!!! I want to make my jeans into a ruffled skirt, is there a video? Thanks.
I enjoy your videos and now I have a sewing machine 💖
Congratulations on the sewing machine 👏 I don’t have a vid on that specific upcycle but I will add it to my list.
@@SewAnastasia thank you 😊
Cool 😎 🪡 🧵 👚
Nice you are so ❤

If you are sewing two different types of fabric together, what needle do you use?
An all purpose 12
How would I change the sleeves completely on a sweater
Cut them off & sew new ones on. Do u have specific questions?
Hoping for more lesson ma'am
💕
What if we don’t have a sewing machine?
The sleeves you cut off are the “template” to fit the new ones on and you threw them at me. Sheesh. 😅
Lol 😂 yeah you could use them as a template.
you talk to much . Just show us
