You could put a tiny amount of epoxy glue on the stops made with the zig zag method. The glue sets quite hard and it would prevent the slider from pulling or breaking one of the threads resulting in the stopper unraveling. Epoxy is usually a clear amber color.
Thank you so much for this! Sewing for my great grandies ! Thought I was doomed to button openings for jackets or hoodies... now the short separating zipper dilemna is solved I KNOW HOW TO DO IT NOW AND LIFE IS GOOD,!!👵🏻🙋🏼♀️‼️🚸🌀✳️❇️✅♿️🔣🎶🎵🎶🎶🎶
Great DIY zipper hacks!! Love the relocating the stops the best, always wondered why no one ever showed that in the sewing videos...guess they didn't think of it!
Great video. Thanks! I just so happen to have a wood burning tool. I needed to shorten a 26 inch jacket zipper into a 24 inch. This helps tremendously!
This is so helpful. I went to fabricland and asked the staff how to shorten a zipper and they replied i should get one custom made.... thank god i didnt trust that.
I was so grateful for his sharing the techniques that any breathing does not offend me. It's not professional movie making. They're sharing what they know to help those of us who don't have a clue. I am appreciative & grateful for this effort of sharing his knowledge & experience & giving us the opportunity to watch it being done! Very helpful.
Definitely one of the most helpful videos I’ve seen! Thank you!
