I love how Dusty and the kids are so involved in your videos. I just love your channel and your family. Thank you for teaching this old lady new things.
I have adhd and Dusty’s respect for your difference is so refreshing. What a treasure both of you are! It’s really nice to find someone who appreciates you warts and all and hope to one day find a dusty in this world too. Love your family and channel!
I love these Q and A’s. We get to learn something new about you and your family! It’s like we’re visiting in person! Love to you all!! I hope you’re all safe from Helene!!! 😘🇺🇸💗💗💗
I am from South Alabama and my friends visited Wyoming. He asked a person who lived there about the weather, the guys reply “ Well we have 2 seasons… winter and July4th”. Hard no from this Deep South girl!!
Do you know how freakin LOVED you are, Bestie? We all just love the heck outta you and your family. I’m down for “Food is a Human Right,” and, “Bestie” merch, along with pre-ordering a cookbook so you could self-publish it! Don’t you know all of us are drooling or one? Besides, you gotta leave your boys some Southern Frugal Momma cooking instructions, AND for the girls they marry! So please, seriously consider it again. And thank you for letting us have a glimpse of life w/ ya’ll. Love from Boise/Meridian Idaho!
Wyoming is very, very cold and very Western. Daughter lived there for a few years. Low population. You may like it, but be sure to take a long visit there first. Very different culture than the South.
As a life long wyoming girl......its not for the faint of heart. Make sure you enjoy wind. For 6-9 months of the year its a constant 40 mph with gusts 60 mph plus. So its not unusual for -30 to -50⁰ many many days during winter. Like not one time but alot of the time. Even on a warm day the "breeze" is 30 mph. We have an extremely short growing season & you'll have to amend the heck out of your soil. Depending on the town will tell how hammered with snow you would get. Its the drifting snow that gets you. Do not plan on having a 2 wheel drive vehicle here. You will never get anywhere. Always have full gas tank. Its 2 hours between most places. No random gas stations on our highways. The laidback life, the good people & the stunning scenery makes all the hardships worth it though. 😂
My sister lives in Alpine, Wy, 40 miles west of Jackson. She can't see out of her windows most of the winter because there's that much snow and it stays below freezing so it doesn't melt until spring. I live in Cheyenne, WY. My Sister tells me I live in the "Banana Belt" of Wyoming. We get snow and some wind. Inside of the city we Don't get a lot of wind. Just probably 10 really windy days a year. Outside of the city it blows a lot more. Winter temps range from mid 40s to below zero. We usually get 2 separate weeks of 30 below zero a year. Not too bad. The Low population is very nice! Prices are a little higher here than there, everything has to be trucked. I Love it here. We don't want our population to grow very much so keep that to yourselves. Lol👍😊❣️
My suggestion to you about Wyoming is to come here during the winter and deal with the wind and the horrible snow drifts. If it wasn't for the fact that all of our children have settled here, we would leave.
If you want to venture to Wyoming just do it! You won’t regret it even if it doesn’t work out you can come back home. I’ve don’t it four times. Do not regret one state I have lived in. I learned something from each one
Hello to Dusty and Brooke and their three sons. I love watching your videos, you make living life, cooking and having fun very special. I know everyone has difficulties in their lives today, but watching you and your family interact makes me feel happy. Thanks for sharing your adventures. From: Debbie T. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great video. My oldest daughter is a game warden (conservation agent, here in Missouri). It’s the perfect profession for someone who loves the outdoors 😊
When I was 18 yrs old my best friends mom bought me a "Convenience Food Cookbook." Cooking with Convenience foods found in your pantry. To date that is one of my favorite cookbooks and all beginners should have that. You need to do that and you'll still lots!
TY for this vid. I didn’t grow up in the best household as many out here haven’t so it’s nice to see a down to earth family structure, where the kids really love their parents and the couple really loves each other and want to stay together without fights. Makes me sad but also when I watch and just get into what you’re saying, makes me feel really good cause I feel like I’m put into it for a min, thank you! And great idea to go by Pal’s at the end 👍👍
I love watching you both together! So much fun. Thank you for starting this community. I love how you all love and spread it around. I love my Be Kind shirt... Be blessed always, my Southerland Squad! xoxo
Wyoming is so beautiful! I worked on a dude ranch there in my late teens and, if I could do it all over again, I would settle down there. My ideal life would be outside of a small town, with 49-60 acres with all the animals I could afford to maintain!
This was such a fun video, thanks for answering all the questions, I remember seeing Aunt Vicki’s question, it really gave me a chuckle! I really appreciate all you do, oh and as far as merch, gear that says “Food is a Human Right” would be cool too. We have to bring awareness, ever notice there aren’t “Wild” food producing trees in our communities? It’s NOT because they attract vermin, it’s because “they” those with an ungodly amount of money, want to control us, and want all of our food to be purchased, why else would the government force us to have a license to catch fish?!?! The individual families aren’t depleting and over fishing our waterways, think about it, who is?!?
I lived in Wyoming for 1 winter. The lifestyle was extremely different because I wasn't accustomed to that "much" winter, deep respect for those that are accustomed and those that adapted!
I am a Wyoming transplant and absolutely LOVE this state. Yes, winters can be harsh but its not every winter, last year was pretty blah, but the year before we did have a 4-foot blizzard. Summer does have hot spells but very low humidity. Wildlife is everywhere. I live in Casper and we have turkey gangs roaming the streets and herds of pronghorns as well.
So nice to learn more about you and your family. I truly admire your down to earth attitude, Brooke. You are very kind and generous and it's so easy to see how good relationship you have with your boys. Btw, my husband tells me that I have a busy head and I was laughing when your husband was describing how your thinking is :D
For cube steak, my Mom used to make "Swiss steak". Dredge the steak in seasoned flour, sear the steak and sliced onions in oil, after the onions are translucent , cover with tomatoes (caned or fresh). Put in oven until tender. Serve over mashed potatoes. Yummy😊
I loved this video Brooke! You and Dusty are so nice for answering questions. That was fun! Y'all are fun! Pal's looks very yummy! Have a beautiful blessed night! 🙏
It's me senior Diane from eastern shore MD. You mentioned "Little house on the prairie" love it too because morals , decency and caring for for another are what I like. Here on the eastern shore lots of farm land and when I see land that bare, no houses or anything I think of litle house and imagine children walking that length of land to walk to school. Love the land as it use to be. Dislike crowds and over population. People change and materialistic. Even though I grew up in different countries,_I have been blessed and being humble. Love your videos and your family being down to earth. ❤
I hope someone in Pal's corporate home office sees this video and sends your family some coupons for future meals there!! I've never heard of them before and considering I live on the coast of North Carolina I may never get to experience Pal's, but will try to remember this if I ever travel to east Tennessee!! Love you guys! ❤💕💞
I moved to Clark Wyoming 15 years ago from Minnesota and honestly I moved here for the milder winters. But here we live in the highland dessert so it also get extremely hot! Come back out here and I’ll show you heaven!! ;) we are close to Red Lodge Montana, Powell Wyoming, and Cody Wyoming. Come see me!!! 😂
I want a Pal's burger now. I love the fresh veggies on it. Kind've like the whopper, which I love. Thanks, Brooke! This was a fun video. We moved from St. Petersburg, FL to Alamogordo, New Mexico. There's lots to do here and you could grow veggies and have your chickens. There's the Lincoln National Forrest to play in. It snows up there and is 20 minutes from us. Bigger surrounding cities are Las Cruces, El Paso, Albuquerque, Arizona, Colorado. Wild horses and other animals. The White Sand Monument, which is free for veterans and anyone in their car. My hubby is a veteran. It's the desert here. There's a butcher shop that I found. There's only 33,000 people here. University of Mexico here. .museums, one hospital. Holloman AFB. Camping, BLM land (free camping) and lots of other camping sites. We have a Mountainview out our front door. We love it here. Alamogirdo, NM
Hi , just discovered you! Your family is sweet ❤️ I learned something new the other day from another video. Put a damp paper towel under your cutting board to keep it from moving while you chop . I tried it, it works.
There is a Pal’s here in Johnson City! Are you close by? Have lived here about 8 yrs. Came from Massachusetts to live with my daughter…love watching you all together! You have such a nice family! Never change! 🩷
I've never heard of putting jam on a burger but if I was to try it I do it on a slider so if you don't like it you're not wasting much. I didn't know axolotls got that big they are so stinkin' cute.
I'm a Wyoming transplant and I love it here! I've been here for 31 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I have been to Pal's and the season's on the fries tastes like Lawry's seasoning salt to me.
Brooke! I just wanted to pop in and say how you help me every day! On days when you don’t post new videos, I go back and watch old ones. Your personality and your sweet family help me in my darkest days! I pray one day I’ll be able to visit your family in East Tennessee!
I LOVE the camping episodes too! I love the variety of foods and ways they are cooked. I especially love it's not just "hot dogs on a stick". Makes it more fun.
Little House is my fav, watching it right now!! Wyoming would be great for most of the year, but not so much winter, unless you're totally prepared and stocked up for shut in time! In the 47 years I've lived in Ohio, I only had to be well stocked one year in winter and that was '86-'87, stuck inside for a little over a month because of regular snowfall and the 15 foot snowdrifts! Love to you all!!! 🐢🐢💚💚💖💖
These Q&A's are so much fun to watch. I've had a PB&J Burger before. It was a regular hamburger(not stuffed) topped with bacon, peanut butter and grape jelly. I had my reservations about it, but it was really good.
Brooke you have a blanket on & said the house is cold. You aren’t ready for that brutal Wyoming cold haha. ❤
I love how Dusty and the kids are so involved in your videos. I just love your channel and your family. Thank you for teaching this old lady new things.

Thanks for inviting us into your home and letting us know your family. 😊
You and your husband have a good personality together.
This is the more relaxed and funny Dusty I've seen in this channel 😂 You both have such a cute, loving family, Brooke. ❤ You all are the real deal.
I am from South Alabama and my friends visited Wyoming. He asked a person who lived there about the weather, the guys reply “ Well we have 2 seasons… winter and July4th”. Hard no from this Deep South girl!!

Great advice!
I want to live there as well just because of the low population
💯. I live there and it’s very difficult. Sparse job market and extremely brutal winters
lol. Wyoming and you are wrapped up in a blanket!
Lol
“Be positive; be kind and let others be happy” and “Food is a human right” are two t-shirts, mugs, or potholders that I’d buy. Love the videos!
I can’t talk y’all is one of my faves 😃
I agree with Dusty extensive cold for long periods of time are very difficult cultures to live in.
We live in Wyoming and the weather is only nice in the summer and early fall, otherwise it's severely brutal.

This is a comment you should pay VERY close attention to. This lady’s got the right of it.

That’s the beauty of home school, you can be flexible and go with your child but still get results
With Christmas coming a lot of people might be interested in merch from you. Also you need to work on a cookbook of YOUR recipes.
Wyoming is so beautiful! I worked on a dude ranch there in my late teens and, if I could do it all over again, I would settle down there. My ideal life would be outside of a small town, with 49-60 acres with all the animals I could afford to maintain!
You and your Family are Absolutely Awesome 😊!!!
You could self publish a cookbook. All the buzz you already have and all of us that LOVE YOU would be on it in a heartbeat

Lol..... You didn't tell her about the wind....
@@ann40069 yes! Ooops the Wind is definitely bad, thankfully the high winds (hurricane force speed) never lasts super long.
We live in rural Casper. The wind blows most of the time. Actually it roars!!
❤ the Q&A's!! Understanding the video creators & where they come from is awesome. 😊
Thsnk you Brooke and Dusty and boys for this video, and for taking us to PALS burger drive thru , and gif all y’all’s videos !! ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈

Hi , just discovered you! Your family is sweet ❤️
I learned something new the other day from another video. Put a damp paper towel under your cutting board to keep it from moving while you chop . I tried it, it works.
I just love this video. It's lovely learning about people that you know for one reason then you learn more about them. Make sense?
There is a Pal’s here in Johnson City! Are you close by? Have lived here about 8 yrs. Came from Massachusetts to live with my daughter…love watching you all together! You have such a nice family! Never change! 🩷
Can you show us how you do your envelopes? Great video. Love this channel! And yes people would buy your merch. Pot holders would be perfect!!!

That is a good looking burger. I agree with you about In-N-Out, it's an okay burger. Never understood the hype.
I literally smiled for 47 minutes. 😊
Thanks for taking us on a “field trip”
You guys are the best!
I work at a small cafe and we make a burger with raspberry bacon jalapeno jam with cream cheese and it is DELICIOUS!
Brooke! I just wanted to pop in and say how you help me every day! On days when you don’t post new videos, I go back and watch old ones. Your personality and your sweet family help me in my darkest days! I pray one day I’ll be able to visit your family in East Tennessee!
If you're interested in making a cookbook you could self publish. By the way your whole family is adorable and so kind.
Come to Michigan- you’ll love it it🥰
We did relaxed homeschooling too and now I have one in college and one in law school, so I can testify that it works.
I would buy frugal mama merchandise
I've eaten at the Pal's in where my dad lived in Rogersville, TN. Very yummy!❤ I miss you, Dad!🕯🕊
Loved watching this video! It puts a smile on my face to see you & Dusty interact, warms my heart. 💖💙💙💙💙
Don't allow anything to hold you back... Experience life!
I love the boys names. I also love the reason for each name. Very thoughtful.
Yes merch would be awesome!! Kitchen stuff!!
Great video! I love your adorable family. Sending love from- Newark Jersey ❤
Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with everyone.
I really love watching you and your family! Thank you for always being so positive and kind.
I LOVE the camping episodes too! I love the variety of foods and ways they are cooked. I especially love it's not just "hot dogs on a stick". Makes it more fun.
Thank you for sharing and being so positive! Love watching your videos!
Thanks for the great Q&A video. I just love watching you two. Blessings to you and your family
Thank you so much for that- it was all purely delightful!!!!!❤️
Little House is my fav, watching it right now!! Wyoming would be great for most of the year, but not so much winter, unless you're totally prepared and stocked up for shut in time! In the 47 years I've lived in Ohio, I only had to be well stocked one year in winter and that was '86-'87, stuck inside for a little over a month because of regular snowfall and the 15 foot snowdrifts! Took til May to dig out my trashcans! I would love a great burger joint close by, Pal's looks awesome! I got McDonalds, Wendy's, and Burger King, but that just doesn't do it! Love to you all!!! 🐢🐢💚💚💖💖
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL AND YOUR FAMILY!!!! YOU'RE AWESOME
Forget Wyoming! Come to Northwest Arkansas! It’s beautiful here and we get all 4 seasons!
Wonderful video, thanks for sharing yourselves with us 😊
These Q&A's are so much fun to watch. I've had a PB&J Burger before. It was a regular hamburger(not stuffed) topped with bacon, peanut butter and grape jelly. I had my reservations about it, but it was really good.
Im sorry but i couldn't move to Wyoming. TOOO COLD
