Anyone who has ever built a report in Salesforce has incorrectly configured the filter logic at some point. This is a basic overview of how you can customize the logic and order of your filters in order to get the data you need to see in your report.

Very helpful video. Quick Q - do you know how to write a filter that won't return a bunch of duplicates if they meet different criteria. Ex. I currently have 1 AND 2 (3 OR 4 OR 5) in hopes that if the opportunity has 1 and 2 and at least one of 3,4,5 it would show. But if the opportunity has 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 it will show the opportunity twice causing a lot of duplicates. Any help would be appreciated

Hmm check your record type? If you're using a normal opportunities report then it shouldn't show any duplicates. But if you're using an "Opportunities with ____", duplicates might show up

In filter by type , i have to set operator as equals to value structural but I have only product specifications,warranty,shipping these values in it. What should i do to get the structural value ?

If I understand you correctly you need to add "structural" to the type picklist. That's done within setup.
