This is very helpful and I appreciate that you have taken the time to demo these use cases.
Thank you, I really appreciate the feedback!
Excellent Brian. Really helpful, short, bite size videos!
Thank you for the comment! Glad you found it helpful.
You haven't solved the issue I'm having but you've solved an issue I didn't realize I was about to have lol. Great video!!!
We'll take it! What's the issue you're still having? Maybe we can help.
@@Rotive - so I was looking for something which would take a time and date field and tell me what the day was. Due to the time being a part of the field, I couldn't work it out. I've managed to do it now but I don't really understand what I put in to my formula... (Basically I followed many guides until I'd Frankensteined a formula haha)
Brian, thanks for such a clear and concise break down of the subject. I would really like to know how to filter by unique account without grouping by it and find the total number of sales by each person. It that possible ?
I don't think so, unfortunately. You're going to need to group in order to sum the opportunities by owner.
Is there a way to calculate the case age, excluding weekends and then add 1 day to it using Report Row-Level or Summary formula?
Could you please help as if we want to subtract Total of August - Total of July and Total is the same field, how can we achieve here with row level formula ?
Have you grouped your report by month? In that case, you'll want to use a summary level formula instead of a row level formula. Check out Lauren's video: ua-cam.com/video/R2YTU-NS7fE/v-deo.html
Can I do this with converted leads date?
You should be able to as long as you have the permissions to see converted lead records and their fields.
Is there a way to have columns that are based on field values, such as stage, price book or even buckets? I want to have columns instead of row groups.
You can group by columns just like you group by rows. Is that what you're asking? I'm not 100% sure.
@@Rotive not really, I want the values as column headers and the number of columns equal to the number of values for the field. For example, if I have 6 price books, I was a column for each price book as column headers. The rows would be the product and the values would be the price book amounts
