  • Thought I would do a book recommendation again, this time about something close to my heart... design and colour! It's expensive but a really beautiful addition to your coffee table or bookshelf, especially if you like Japanese arts, crafts and industrial design. You can get the book here: amzn.to/43LQq88
Book name: Iro: The Essence of Color in Japanese Design by Phaidon

Lindie! Your Japanese is awesome! I'm also studying Japanese right now and am still at the beginning. When I become more fluent I'll also make a video in Japanese and post it on UA-cam! Greetings from a Bulgarian hyperpolyglot! Keep up the good work! がんばってください。

I always love seeing how all of our voices and mannerisms change depending on the languages we are speaking - you're so cute when you speak Japanese! ☺

This video was a fun treat. It kind of blended my childhood and now, between a love for art and drawing, combined with Japanese that I'm currently studying. You should do more videos in one of your languages if you're up for it. This one was surely encouraging to me, as I didn't have to translate much. A nice study milestone. Thank you for the recommendation! My sisters love art so I may pick this one up! 良い仕事を続けてください!

I'm absolutely surprised because you speak Japanese for a long time in this video!
It might actually be easier to express a lot of color names in Japanese.
    It's my new discovery.
    Thank you, Lindie!

Enjoyed the video! But just a heads up -- you wrote "Korean" instead of "Japanese" throughout the subtitles haha.

@@LindieBotes okay, this is SUPER weird lol, but I just checked my CC settings and they were automatically on "Japanese autotranslated into Korean" for some weird reason (even though the words showed up in English), and on that setting, it was consistently writing "Korean" instead of Japan (at 2:33 is one example of a time stamp). But when I switch it to "Japanese" or "Japanese -> English" it says "Japanese" instead. SO WEIRD. But that was an automated CC problem, not a you problem. :)
