Thanks for sharing! Adding these to the list of great restaurants in Caye Caulker.
A good alternative to Il Pelicano is Pasta Per Caso right on the main street. Anna and Armando are a super sweet Italian couple who do it right. They also have live music. There's no permanent menu as they make all their pasta by hand daily. I'm a chef and was blown away at the quality of food here. Idiot alert here with the idiot being me. I had just gotten to the island after a solid 7 hours of travel (not counting layovers)starting at 3:30am and was famished. I walked in to Pasta Per Caso and had a wonderful meal despite the fact that I was basically falling asleep at the table. I paid my bill and went back to the room and went to sleep. The next day I was walking by and Armando chased me down on his bike and drug me back to the restaurant saying that I had paid in American dollars and didn't do the mental conversion to Belizian currency. They didn't feel right taking my money and refunded me the difference. I was both embarrassed and thankful for their ethical position here. They gained a customer for as long as I keep visiting Caye Caulker.
I will be there in a few days... Let's go to "Swings"!!!

You can take a daily ferry from San Pedro however, we'd recommend at least a few days to take your time and get to experience all the island has to offer. - Jenny and Lance

Do you recommend spending mid week days or the weekend there on the island? Trying to decide whether to go to caye caulker vs San Ignacio on the weekend days of the week. My bday is on a Saturday and wondering which area would have best celebrating for myself? :)
You'd definitely have more entertainment options in Caye Caulker on the weekend, musicians usually come in on the weekend and play at local bars. We would dod San Ignacio during the week for less crowds on tours and Caye Caulker on the weened for more entertainment options. Hope this helps! - Jenny and Lance
Did you apply for taking your drone in or is that stock footage or...? Going soon and love the perspective but not sure ?
Hi Matt - we used stock drone footage. From what we were told, you have to have a commercial drone license and a paying client to fly in Belize but obviously some people sneak them in and fly them. Hope this helps! - Lance and Jenny
