INCREDIBLE Beaches and TASTY Food in Caye Caulker, Belize!!

Caye Caulker is the ultimate relaxation site in Belize. This island is certainly a treasure in Belize, not only for its beautiful beach, but also some amazing treats to try at the beachside. We enjoyed a day of the Island life while enjoying a multitude of treats the island has to offer.
Caye Caulker is just a short thirty minute ferry ride from Ambergris Caye, and well worth the venture. While we strolled along this relaxed beach paradise, we knew we had to try some treats along the way. Our first stop was for a frozen, fresh-fruit smoothie from Ice and Beans. We couldn’t get enough of the fresh fruit in Belize, and these smoothies hit the spot!
Along the calm main street of Caye Caulker are many food vendors that cannot be missed. We enjoyed some jerk chicken that was grilled to perfection. We also enjoyed some delicious coco frio - cold coconut water straight from the coconut! This is an incredible treat for a warm beach day.
To continue the relaxation and indulgence in treats, we headed towards the Lazy Lizard. Near the Split, a channel separating North and South Caye Caulker, this bar and grill is a great place to spend some time taking in the sun, enjoying a beverage, and cooling off in the beautiful water. If you want to get your heart pumping, try jumping off the high platform into the ocean!
We couldn’t leave the island without another little frozen treat, and we knew some ice cream would hit the spot. We tried some soursop ice cream, which was a tangy treat and a must try while in Belize!
We couldn’t have enjoyed our trip to Caye Caulker more, and hope to enjoy more time there in the future!
