I tried the DIY version of the balloon method:
First, relax by taking a hot bath, sauna, meditation, Wim Hof or Soma breath work.
Then, take a few relaxing breaths, if you havent already prepped with breathwork in step 1.
Take a deep breath while mewing; mouth closed, lips sealed, tongue on palate, use use your thumb and index finger to squeeze and block your nasal passage. This is very similiar to equalizing your ears while Scuba or freediving.
Blow out air from your lungs, as if a balloon is filling out your nasal passage. Keep pressing down on your nasal opening. You will feel pressure released on your ears. Put pressure for 20-30s. Repeat if it feels good.
There are no studies done with this method, so no known effectiveness or side affects are known. Do at your own risk.

    # Understanding Neurocranial Restructuring (NCR)
Imagine your skull not as one solid piece, but as a puzzle with 22 bones connected by flexible seams called sutures. These sutures allow slight movements, impacting your brain fluid flow and overall health. This is where Neurocranial Restructuring (NCR) comes in, a modern approach to optimize your body's structure by targeting these often overlooked sutures.
    ## How is NCR Different from Chiropractic or Osteopathic Treatments?
While chiropractic and osteopathic treatments focus on specific manipulations to address particular problems, NCR takes a broader perspective. It aims to enhance the body's overall structure and stability, leading to long-lasting improvements rather than temporary relief.
    ## The Sphenoid Bone: The Key to NCR
The sphenoid bone, shaped like a butterfly, sits in the center of your skull, acting as an anchor for other cranial bones. Due to its central location and proximity to the pituitary gland, it plays a crucial role in both structural and hormonal health. NCR gently adjusts the sphenoid bone using small balloons, triggering a cascade of positive effects throughout the body.
    ## Benefits of Manipulating the Sphenoid Bone:
    - **Improved alignment and symmetry:** Reduces tension and allows for better movement of cranial bones.
    - **Enhanced fluid flow:** Optimizes the flow of cerebrospinal fluid, crucial for brain health and nervous system function.
    - **Better breathing:** Opens up airways and helps with conditions like sinusitis.
    - **Enhanced appearance:** Can smoothen wrinkles and contribute to a more youthful look.
    - **Overall well-being:** Supports the nervous system, improves posture, and aids in healing from various conditions.
    ## What to Expect During an NCR Treatment:
    1. **Initial assessment:** Thorough evaluation of your health history, symptoms, and goals.
    2. **Bodywork:** Prepares the body for adjustments by improving symmetry and relaxing the nervous system.
    3. **Skull manipulation:** Gentle adjustments to release tension and improve cranial structure.
    4. **Proprioceptive testing:** Assesses the body's stability and identifies areas for improvement.
    5. **Endonasal balloon:** Gently adjusts the sphenoid bone for lasting changes.
    ## Who Can Benefit from NCR?
    NCR can help individuals with:
    - Muscular-skeletal issues: Poor posture, chronic pain (headaches, migraines), TMJ disorders.
    - Breathing or sinus issues: Sinusitis, sleep apnea.
    - Mental health challenges: Anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder.
    - Cognitive difficulties: Attention deficit disorder, memory problems.
    - Concussions or head injuries.
    - Athletes seeking performance improvement.
    ## Contraindications for NCR:
NCR is generally safe but not suitable for individuals with:
    - Severe osteoporosis.
    - Acute fractures in the nose, face, neck, or back.
    - Suspected or confirmed brain tumors, aneurysms, or severe bleeding disorders.
    - Severe degenerative diseases, autoimmune diseases, allergies, cancer, diabetes, thyroid issues, obesity, and other endocrine disorders.
    ## Possible Side Effects:
Some individuals may experience temporary fatigue, soreness, or flu-like symptoms as their body adjusts to the treatment. These reactions are typically short-lived and resolve as the body adapts.
    ## Taking the Next Step:
If you're interested in exploring NCR further, you can visit the NCR London website, contact Agata directly through email or social media, or explore the Mewing app for complementary facial exercises.
Remember, NCR offers a unique and holistic approach to improving your health and well-being. By addressing the foundational structure of your body, it unlocks the potential for lasting positive change.

I took a class on use of the nasal balloon technique, we practiced on ourselves. You’re supposed to use enough pressure that the balloon expands far enough that it protrudes a bit into the nasopharyngeal space. To get it to do that, I did NOT feel like I was applying gentle pressure. It’s a bit like the feeling you get when you jump off the high dive feet first, and get a big rush of water up your nose. Supposed to be helpful post-concussion though. And certainly great for opening up those cranial sutures!!

Please make a video about what causes bite problems such as overbite or underbite or croosbite etc. I know that soft food and poor posture make our teeth crooked but what causes bite problems 🤔. Also kindly cover :
    1. How can parents raise an attractive and healthy child and what can be done about 4 year old kid 's overbite. Will that overbite go away on it's own as the child grows farther?
    2. How we can fix bite problems in countries where orthotropics is not available😭
    3. Which type of hard food should we eat?
    4. Is there have any way to boost the growth of the lower jaw naturally?
    5. Do interceptive orthodontics and appliances damage face?

Good practice would be to teach pregnant women how to watch out their babies. Not to let suckle on other things than breast and after each feed to close their mouths. Look after your environments to keep clean and fresh as less pollutants less clogged noses , less open mouth sleeps, less wrong tongue position. Don’t blend baby food. In fact don’t blend any food. Use your teeth to eat.

Sure, there are many aspects to this:
      - she compares NCR to osteopathy, but these are 2 completly different things, and she is also a physiotherapist. Osteopathy views the human body holistically, but compared to physiotherapy it has no scientific evidence... and she says that NCR has a more holistic approach than osteopathy. But in reality it is just one type of treatment, the balloon thing. How can it consider all your aspects? it is just one solution for all your problems.
      - moreover the homeostasis has no place in this conversation. It is the ability of the body to preserve a constant internal state, chemically and temperature wise.
      - then, just watch Mike's reaction to all her pointless explanations, it's clear they paid him to promote their service.

i cant believe i was right all these years, i wear braces and often times i found myself mewing and sometimes hitting my palate in a certain way that felt like unlocking the brain, i used to have instant cognitive improvement in terms of memory etc like the doctor talks in the video, i wasnt able to do it standing up or every day, but now i know my skull is unbalanced probably because of braces. I really hope they wont get me permanent damage to my skull structure or cognitive function. Thanks for the precious informations

Everyone in my circle has told me that this does not work although it makes perfect sense for me and i truly believe it works. I do not know what to do with this situation, please help me dr mew i do not want to ruin my facial structure and profile

So most of the commenters here who never tried this come to the conclusion it's BS but I can assure you it's not. I've suffered from post concussion syndrome issues since 2020 and tried a lot of modalites the only one that really seemed to help much being upper cervical chiropractic. However it didn't really address the underlying structural issues in my head and spine and I suffered from setbacks the final one being so bad I decided to quit it. I found out about NCR on a FB forum and I can really honestly say that after a few months I was doing better symptom wise then ever before. Now it's been 14 months and though I still get symptoms on occasion my overall recovery had been very positive. Before just a small bump on the head would cause me sleeping problems like waking up with panic attacks and overall general anxiety, depression and head aches but now for the first time it's not noticeably different. Also I don't suffer from brain fog which has plagued me for about 15 years and my memory has improved as well!
