As a 67 year old man, if a 32 year old woman showed interest in me I would assume she was a)blind, b) crazy, c)out for money, d) all of the above.
Give her the ol' Joey Tribbiani, "How you doing?" Line. 🤣
"...and still hit it."
Or you could just accept that she finds you adorable, and allow her to work out her "daddy issues" with you for a little while.
D
Perhaps she might just possibly be interested in your personality, your sense of humour, your values, shared interests etc etc etc. Age is a stage...not a number. The majority of women are not manipulative... contrary to what we might see here.
Nothing says stable relationship like paying someone to stay married to you.
😵😵😵 it is crazy!!
Right?
When your spouse says "Show Me The Money " you know the marriage is in trouble.
How did Steven Beard not recognize that she was a gold digger?
Soooo true
"A burning Ford Taurus is only slightly less valuable then a nonburning one",. Nice slam Doc.
lol
I've owned that Taurus.
I feel that.
@@Thundersnowy
I never owned one luckily
I thought they were ugly
However I knew someone who did so I understand your pain
Dr. Grande also attacks a Ford Mustang in another episode
The Pelly case. So he must have owned a Ford car
I had a Taurus with no problems and my brother flipped one and survived it. Also had a sable and it was a great car. I hate mustangs though but I just don't like sports cars period.

I like sports cars but not Mustangs remember Mustang II?
Surely a prison-themed restaurant should be called Last Meal.

There's no possibility of profiter-paroles, so it's death by chocolate instead.

Celeste was a teenager in the 70s, and her friends said she was too erratic to be around. Everyone in the 70s was an erratic mess, and she stood out that much. Being around Celeste must have been like living in a Kansas trailer park during a tornado outbreak. You know everything you own is going to be destroyed, the best you can hope for is that you make it out alive.
After watching this....
being single and financially challenged is looking pretty darn attractive
Lol
Trust me it is. I survived an attempted murder by an ex. I'm staying single forever I think and I'm barely scraping by. At least I have my sanity...
@@kf10126 Bless you!
Trick is to be way crazier that they are or think you are. Sort of like a Chihuahua going crazy on a big dog often makes them go away.
Last time someone tried that, it was sort of like Joe Pesci in Casino after he best up the rude hick at the casino with a telephone receiver. "He's already very sorry..."
Then, call the cops and press charges. Make sure it's your house, he's got a record of such before and he gets one hit first. After that, all bets are off.
"Well, he started it, he's got a record of such before (so it's not your fault) and it's my house. Take them w you."
Better to let your brother and father have a come to Jesus talk w him, tho.
I knew Celeste. She shined, all smiles and curly hair. I overheard (couldn’t help it she was sitting next to me when she answered the phone) her lose her s*** on one of her daughters. Outrageous screaming, abusive and out of control. She ended the call and went right back to beaming smiles and bouncy personality. She told me she married her lawyer (found out later it was a bartender who was helping her spend Steve’s millions). She also said that Tracy was stalking her (found out that wasn’t true either). Celeste was dangerous, no doubt. Even the other people around were like “must stay away from this lady, nobody has any idea of what she would do if we looked at her wrong.” Thanks for the analysis. I asked you do this, not sure if my request was why you did it, but you did an excellent job.
Never F with anyone who will be choosing your nursing home or who makes your food. Bad idea. Lol.
This type of Prenuptial Agreement is called a Buy-a-Wife Agreement with a Life Gamble clause.
My husband was adopted by a psychopath and her weak willed husband and he and the other adopted kids had the same treatment of having his head held under water like Celeste. Not excusing her choices in life but the trauma of being adopted by a monster is deep.
Dr. Grande is like Mystery Science Theater for True Crime.
Tracey was a fantastic witness! Oozed naivete, anguish, & honesty. But the ones who buried Celeste in court were her twins who were clever enough to record one of Psycho Mommy's epic rants.
I love when your videos are over 15 minutes. It’s like ordering a Grande Latte at Starbucks. Good until the very end 👌
Dr Grande Latte
That's terrible pun... I love it. xD
Haha 😂
I am always kinda dismayed when the "actual" killer gets a very short sentence because they "made a deal" to incriminate another. Karla Homolka (the Canadian) who got 12 years for killing 3 people, one being her sister, because she made a deal to incriminate her husband, an extreme example of injustice IMO.
I've watched a lot of documentaries about Celeste Beard, but I never heard the background you shared here. Thank you for the information. So sad for her husband. I actually know a woman who married a much older man for his money. She has been on a vast spending spree. This happens more often than people realize.
"First thing you do is you freeze the water and then you sell it." LOL
"A burning Ford Taurus is only slightly less valuable than a non-burning one." LOL!!! The ice whole sale comments LOL. I had to pause the video here because I was laughing so hard LOL. Dr. Grande, I love your dry sense of humor...absolutely hilarious. As always, I enjoyed your brilliant analysis. Thanks, Dr. Grande.

@@Alfakkin Hi there, i am an ex counsellor and he is using a technique to see who is actually listening. It is very subtle, and does not deviate from the professional monotone voice...which means only the most attentive will pick up on it. He is very good at it, and there are better examples i have seen him do. Lets see if we can pick one up next time but also enjoy his excellent analysis...peace to ya.
People never cease to amaze. Not often in a positive way.
You have to really research to find good people. News about good people, is honestly, boring. Whoever saw the news item, Boy Scout Helps Old Lady Across the Street? Dr.. Someone banged into my car and the girl actually paid for damages and apologized. I'm STILL mystified to this day. One spot, about 12 x 12, was about 900 to fix.
I don't know how you keep a straight face when you crack the funniest statements!!!
"...which meant Tracy was due for an upgrade."
funniest one yet.
"Death wish pre-nup!" "A burning Ford Taurus is only slightly less valuable than a non-burning one!" I hope you are saving these one-liners for your inevitable stand-up comedy routine, Dr. Grande!
Still amazes me that you need a license to drive a car, fly a plane, operate some machinery, yet nothing to prove you have the skills to have and raise kids. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ And yet, a troubled childhood still doesn’t give anyone a license to kill…
Ah yes, the infamous gut explosion from a high velocity lead poisoning.
She was interviewed recently in Reasonable Doubt. She cried crocodile tears all the interview and blamed everyone for everything except herself. Even her daughters said she was a monster.
Shot him in the stomach because she didn't want blood on the wall... need I say more about Celeste... worried about her house but not her husband!
Lol. Nice one about the ice 🧊 wholesaler 😂 "First thing you do is freeze the water, then you sell it. Training over." 🤣
And you need a college degree fire that too!
I remember watching a “Snapped” episode about her and this murder. After he was shot and back at home, she was in charge of changing his bandages from the shooting. She would purposely come in from working/planting flowers in the yard and not wash her hands. She’d then change his bandages with dirty hands in hopes he would get badly infected and it would kill him. This is just plain evil. I don’t believe she ever loved him or even cared for him. Just his money. Sad. But she’s where she should be now. Enjoyed your analysis!
❤️💜💚
She never loved anyone, she used people solely for her own purpose, whatever her purpose was at each time in her life. I feel sorry for the people who crossed her path, they all suffered one way or another. I hope that she will never see the light of day outside her prison walls, that’s all she deserves.
All these years I thought she used feces to infect his wounds...Not that dirt is any better.
Wow that is awful
@@tdali8347 Yuck! No doubt she’s a sick and twisted individual. At least she’s where she should be now.

Wow, Celeste Beard really lost the parent lottery. Isn't there some kind of process to make sure people that mean don't adopt children?
Boy, weren't they like an accident waiting to happen...both scarred woman, going through life comitting crimes as if they couldn't do a thing about it. Maybe Tracy was more mentally challenged than Celeste. But very clearly a victim of their early upbringing and incapable of love and connecting with others the only way they had learned to do so. Traggic how you can crush someones soul at such a young age and deep level there's no way to form normal relationships. It's like we are evolving into some sort of inhumane being. When you think about it, it's actually quite scary...great video, once again, Dr. Grande you know how to pick them. Bye all, stay safe.
Dr. Grande's delivery was spot on. He didn't crack a smile.🌵🌵🌵
This psychopath should never be released from prison.
Although this analysis was devilishly entertaining, I can't help but feel sorry for all the unwanted children including Celeste.
"a burnt Ford Taurus is slightly less valuable than a brand new Ford Taurus" sick burn, Dr. Grande! 😆😁
I was watching some of your older vids and I think you have definitely evolved your style into a very fluid, entertaining channel! Keep up the great work.
Indeed! One of kind! Very unique mix of genuine knowledge and and hilariously dry humor.
Doc bringing all the jokes in this one! I liked the one about the Ford Taurus lol
lol your deadpan humor makes these videos that much more entertaining to watch ;p
Hi Dr. Grande, You killed with that Prison Cook Book...LOL!
Could you do an assessment on TV host Steve Wilkos and his polygraph examiner Dan Ribacoff? They both drove an innocent guest named Anca Pennington to attempted suicide and Ribacoff is undergoing litigation for allowing his employees at his investigative firm in New York to assault one of his surveillance subjects.
To start off with, who the hell let the people adopt Celeste and those other kids???
Right. It also just doesn't make sense why people adopt children when they apparently don't like children at all. Unless they felt their lives were lacking scapegoats, because then it makes sense in a very sick sense.
And by "right" I meant to approve your statement (just noticed later that it may come across like being critical but can't edit my post). I felt so sorry for these poor kids, and Celeste is an example of some of the worst consequences of bad parenting.
I was just about to order pizza !!...but Dr Grande has put me in the mood for some of that "prison food". :))
The bologna sandwiches and sticky buns aren't too bad. 🤣

'Trumped up beef' 😂
Martha Stewart did good job when she went to prison. She made hot fudge cake.
I remember this case. If memory serves, the murder victim was very generous to Celeste's family and friends. I felt badly for everyone involved really, it seemed so unnecessary😢 Another fabulous video Doc!🙌💙🌞💙 please if you would, notice someone else keeps requesting Sammy the Bull Gravano. Thanks ever so much! 🌈
This case really makes it clear how different histrionic and borderline personality disorders are; Celeste is completely egocentric and doesn't care about others at all. People with borderline can sometimes make life miserable for others but no one can say they don't care.
Crazy! The person who shot the victim gets 11yrs and the planner got 40yrs? Only testimony was from a convicted felon?
I am endlessly fascinated by the Celeste Beard story. Thank you for the added information. This is the first time I learned about her early childhood, it was very enlightening. The snide sarcasm was also appreciated.😎
I just finished reading her book and I must admit I start to feel shes indeed innocent and has been betrayed by her daughters for the $$$
I love your humour. Thanks for the upload! Never heard of this case before.
I would love to hear your views on the serial killer Levi Bellfield from here in the UK. They reckon hes killed many more than he was convicted for. And the way the police managed to link 4 separate murders to him eventually was proper old school police work.
O have mercy! Doc was on fire today! It has been a while since I have laughed throughout one of his videos. It was awesome!
It really screws you up when the people who are supposed to love you (parents, spouses) don't. Pretty much impossible to overcome.
Were the mental health facilitators obligated to tell Beard his wife intended to kill him while institutionalized?
Celeste is the wife, Tracy, her lover is the one that talked about killing him in the mental health facility. Idk how patient confidentiality works in that case, they were probably not obligated to tell him or report it to authorities because she was an inpatient. It did come up during the trial that Celeste expressed that hated her husband, wished him dead, and also mixed sleeping pills into his food…but I’m not sure who testified about this, and why it wasn’t mentioned to anyone before he died.
She theoretically couldn't kill him while inside (except she could). I believe now, at least, they are supposed to inform authorities about plans to harm someone. Being an inpatient shouldn't matter. The funny thing about plans is they tend to involve the future.
@@USALibertarian I think this is correct. Obviously, in such cases, mental health professionals should seek guidance. In general, when someone *plans* to do something illegal, it should be reported, while anything they have done in the past that they talk about is generally confidential. The difference between fantasizing and planning is probably an issue, though. Fantasies that patients report are usually strictly confidential.
@@tartnouveau3652 Even mental health professionals have a "duty to warn."
If a patient expresses desire to kill someone, they have a duty to warn law enforcement to keep that person (and their client) safe.
@@l.w.paradis2108for sure. I'm bet there are a myriad of things said in mental hospitals. Probably a lot of people screaming "im going to k*** the president!" And staff don't report it. Just roll their eyes. In her case it seemed very specific and outside the realm of fantasy or dillusion.
Celeste, whoa girl! Raises the bar for bat shit crazy, greedy women. Love the ice reference. Looking good Dr. G.!
Celeste would have been a good fit for the ice business. Her heart was really into ice. Or vice versa.
I can't remember which show I had first watched the story about Celeste on... but I really like hearing multiple different sources talking about a person and their crime, I really appreciate hearing your perspective and research on this because they hardly talked about her background. I use to really love watching a lot of crime shows, but I feel like a lot of the older ones like to strictly paint them as monsters... when in reality many of these people had very traumatic pasts. It doesn't excuse the terrible things they've done, but it's okay to feel empathy for them and better understanding them might help save others (both potential criminals and potential victims) in the future.
Interesting thoughts. But, equally many, many people have experience of trauma, abuse, poverty, low self esteem...etc etc etc ...but they do not go on to commit such crimes as this. (In fact, they choose to go on to help, empower and provide hope for those with similar experiences) I've seen lots of different programs on this case too and I think she's the arch manipulator. Her whole life was lived committing ever more serious crimes, this being the ultimate and for once she's paying the price. She still continues to present herself as a 'victim' when the truth is everyone around her suffered in some way. I have no sympathy for her.
She was 32 and he was 70. He was also a millionaire. "Now, I ain't sayin' she a gold-digger..."
Has Dr. Grande analyzed the Daniel Holtzclaw case? His assessment of the investigating police officers would be a valuable insight.
Now you've got the ice business people mad at you. They are not a group to be on the bad side of, Dr. Grande.

It's frightening how lack of nurturing during childhood can create antisocial personalities, with ZERO empathy for anyone who gets in the way of what they want.
I would very much like to see Dr. Grande's take on the Erin Caffey/Charlie Wilkinson case out of Alba, Texas in 2008: Caffey was a 16-yr.-old girl who conspired with Wilkinson, her 18-yr.-old boyfriend, to murder her parents and siblings. Only her father escaped death.

To learn more about this case, I recommend She Wanted It All, by Kathryn Casey. Celeste wrote (sic) an autobiography, where she blames everyone, especially her late husband and her daughters, for her fate. Everyone except herself, that is. Don't buy it, but good for a laugh if you can find it for free.
It's always somebody else's fault. I've known 2 ex-felons in my life, and the first thing you hear from them is their "script" that you just know they have memorized and ready at hand in which they were the victim of circumstance, crazy ex wives, bad cops or attorneys, etc. They need to think that you know they are blameless.
@@banjoist123 So true! People are lacking in integrity! I've known are few x-felons too. 😳Didn't you know that everyone incarcerated is innocent?😂 Not accepting the consequences, is not limited to x-felons--nor age.! They know, you know they're lying but lie anyway! Idiots.
Shocker
Her children all turned out to be wonderful people, in spite of their mother’s behavior.
I was almost killed by an ex. He blames everyone for the way he is and it's ridiculous to witness. He told the police I almost missed myself as a plan with my daughter and we tried to frame him which is super ridiculous and would never happen. The only thing he can maybe blame is drugs, but that was also his choice, they were his fault, not the other way around. He even talked crap about his kids behind their backs. I'm lucky I lived and that was the thing that finally told be it's better to leave then to try to work it out. Living happily ever after as a single woman who gets to stay alive. If I go missing though, he's the one who did it.
Daily uploads for the win! Love starting my day listening to Dr Grande
You know how sometimes you can just see crazy in someone's eyes. The very first time I saw this case on Investigative Report I saw crazy in Celeste's eyes.

How could you spend that kind of money in that period of time? That is insane!
It appears that some of the men involved with Celeste missed some subtle red flags. For example, she had been married an infinite number of times. She didn’t like to have sex with the guy she was married to, but definitely liked having it with everyone else. Actual gold miners would come up to her at random times and “say wow, you can really dig.”
Can you make a video about borderline personality disorder in young adults/teens? And the difference between BPD and hormonal teen emotions.
Or maybe a video about loneliness in teens and when it becomes extreme enough to consider being tested for certain disorders (dpd, bpd, etc.)
Whether you do or not, keep up the great videos!
I think that even if Celeste had picked up the shotgun shell, the surgeon would have found bird shot in the old man's abdomen and the case would have proceeded in much the same way.
Celeste is one of the most evil people I've ever heard of. I'll bet she's still dangerous as a heart attack in prison.
Reminds me of the time when my adoptive "mother" rhetorically stated "what's the difference between you and them"..."them" was in reference to the random Laotion refugee kids that would be invited over after church service or whenever.
Dr. Grande has no idea how complicated ice distribution can be.

Wow. What an interesting case and great video! Hopefully its okay to suggest a case. Cindy Lee may interest you, she was found murdered after reporting more than 100 incidents of harassment and violence, but police think she staged the attacks herself.
