    Great video, mate. Looks like a neat display. Thinking of getting it myself. 165 Htz is a crazy refresh rate too.

    Hi Mark, does the screen technically work like a docking station as well? Can I connect my keyboard, mouse, audio interface & webcam to it?

      Absolutely and with RJ45 if you have a wired network connection like I do. I also connect these and use them between 2 devices through the device bridge 2 technology or just individually on each machine.

    How many windows can you have open and comfortably read? 4? Could you split 4 x2 = 8 and they still be useable or would a 49" be a better solution?

      Hi Dan,
      Yes, you can put a lot of content and your workflow here. I normally have outlook and Edge running side by side, however I have had about 8 windows open. I resized edge because there is just too much white space on the side of content and move things around that way. I have teams open on my notebook and keep it there for that while the display is for my main workflows. I hope this helps.

    Hi one of my two Win PCs is locked for app installation as it is a work machine and would prefer to connect it via HDMI. can I still do the split screen? the other one is a personal PC and can go through USB-C.

      Yep. At present I have a gaming device with HDMI and a work PC with USB-C and I just change it over. If you would like to go with Device Bridge, you will still need a USB connection however if your Work PC is locked then you probably won't be able to install the software but you can still switch back and forth and have PbP but you will need to separate Keyboards and Mouse. I hope that helps and sorry for the delay in response.

    I already have a large 40'' inch monitor (flat), and I get tired of looking at far left and far right. Curved is my choice, however, I have trouble sharing my screen with my co-worker due to the large resolution. OMG! This also solves that problem as well as it is a dual separate monitor attached together in a curved manner which is absolutely great.
    Could you please confirm a few things: Is it a good all-rounder, I.e. it is good for work, productivity, gaming and content creation.
    if you can confirm if I can use it as one big screen, not just a dual monitor only?

      I use it for gaming, content creation and day to work. I love it for all. The 165hz refresh rate, whilst you can get higher for gaming, I find it suitable for games I play like CS:GO. When you are gaming you just turn off the virtual dual display and use as a normal monitor. When sharing your screen turn it back on. Very simple.

      @@HPTechToursThank you. I got mine now. In Windows 11, I can only see two refresh rates 60 hz or 120 when my laptop is connecting with USB C. Not sure, how to make it to 165 Hz.
      And in dual display mode, I can see a big black bezel in between.

    It's awesome that it doesn't have a power brick.

    Is there enough room for 3 applications on the monitor? Comparing it to a 49 inch?

    • @HPTechTours
      @HPTechTours  Рік тому +1

      Absolutely, I have 3 on many times due to a lot of wasted space in Web sites

      @@HPTechTours appreciate your reply! I would be looking to have email/teams on the left, PowerPoint/ excel in the middle and one note on my right so 3 applications are definitely necessary!
      Are you using scaling at all? I am use to 24 inch 1080p monitors

      Hi @@jasonwendel2388 You will have plenty of space. I had Edge, Videos and word and excel on top of each other today. 🙂

      @@HPTechTours awesome thanks so much for the response! Ordered the monitor a couple of days ago and planning to use it for productivity for work. I generally have 3 applications open at once (teams, PowerPoint/zoom meeting, and one note) so excited to try out the display

      Are you using scaling at all? I had past 1440p screens where text size was too small, so curious how you felt the text size was with 120 ppi. For reference, I am use to 1080p 24 inch screens

    if I connect an xbox to this, will it show up in the middle of the pannel. Or will it only work on the left or right because the monitor is technically 2 monitors stuck together?

    • @HPTechTours
      @HPTechTours  2 місяці тому +1

      Hi Matthew, The XBox will take up the whole screen. If you want 2 devices at the same time, that is when it will use a left or right position. It is still one monitor that can split into 2.
