You should make more videos like this. Raw footage of you working while also getting feed back from your supervisors. Before and after pics would be nice too.
Dude, probably should have waited till the stump grinder was done… Ha. Thank you for the video bro. We are so fortunate to have this awesome device. I wonder what kinds of things ancient men used, you know?
I'd love to have a rope runner pro but i only climb and do tree work on the weekends for extra money and to keep my land "under control" ... one day I'll probably get one but right now i just can't justify the cost.
Hey dude, thanks for all the videos. I appreciate the time and effort you put in. I am a couple of days from getting my new RRP and have picked up lots of tips from your work. I was watching this video and thinking at about 12:50 why is he lions tailing this branch? Very relieved when you said it was completely removed! Keep up the good work. You have fans Downunder too.
Hey man I’m glad I was able to show you a few things. I’m sure if I saw you work I would take a lot away from it too. We can all learn together, from each other.
Thanks for the great content with lots of good climbing tips with the Rope Runner Pro! If you haven’t already done a video to go over your 15’ lanyard set up in more detail, if you made it and it’s components. I think it would be very cool to get more info on this!
Hey man, nice job. When I do base anchors, I put a lether tube on the rope and pull it in place on the top branche to save the cambium. When the rope streches during the weight changes on climbing I am afraid to damage the bark by rubbing it wiht my body weight. But i am a hobby climber and dont have the time pressure and I am not so experienced to say the species that are affected by this. Stay safe and have a greate time.
Hey MegaSchweiger, in SRS (stationary rope system) friction savers or cambium savers are rarely used. Although you can cause some cambium damage if your rope passes through a single union, if you use multiple unions not only do you have built in redundancy (back up if your highest union fails) but greatly reduce rope motion. I have a red oak (Quercus rubra) at home that I use regularly for system testing and there is one union that shows signs of friction, otherwise the unions all look healthy.
@@natemartinez4595 try a little tolerance dude. English is clearly not his first language. I bet his German spelling and grammar are better than yours and mine.
I have been trying to ID this tree (old habits die hard). It looks like Liquidambar styraciflua with that typical fissured bark, BBR’s and especially the girdling roots. Is that correct?
Try thorogood boots they last a while and and they have a ton of styles I personally use the loggers it also depends on your price range my thorogoods cost around 300
I currently have the Ergovation saddle and im actually in love with it its nice and comfortable for those long climing jobs I even like it better them my treemotion
it's a good saddle, but if you live in states, i wont recommend dumping your money on this one (because of the non-obligation of the upper back buclke), its a bit more like an old model. i have one at school and it do the job very well, bit heavy, was a very good harness, all interchangeable pieces.
Awesome video quality. Thanks for the awesome resolution.

They used what’s called the hard way. Lol. Literally must have been dreadful to think about climbing.

@@outofmytr3345 Hello, you are right I am from germany :-)
I use the leather saver on the top union. It is often not necessary but does not hurt me.
Love the base anchor method - gonna try that one out. Love my RRPro. Love the vids. Keep em coming bro
More to come!
What kind of shoes are you wearing?

Just a heads up for beginners watching. It isn't safe to footlock with one jumar (hand ascender) without a prusik backup. Just sayin'
please elaborate?
What boots are you wearing in this one. I’m still trying to find a good all around boots for use with spurs and without spurs. Thanks for sharing. 👍
