Thank you!!! This was LOVELY!!! God bless you and all who watch this one!!!
I have my statue since my Confirmation when I was 12 (1962). Was given to me from my grandmother.
Here in the Philippines, we have the same devotion to the Infant Jesus, affectionately called the Santo Niño. It is the oldest Christian image in the Philippines, originally a gift from the voyager Ferdinand Magellan to Rajah Humabon (baptized as Carlos) and his wife and chief consort, Hara Humamay (baptized as Juana) on account of their Christian baptism in 1521. The Santo Niño de Cebú was based on a vision of Teresa of Ávila, so it must be a related image to that of Prague. The 500-year-old miraculous image is enshrined at the Minor Basilica of the Santo Niño in Cebu City, Philippines.
If you are in the Philippines, do join the Traditional Catholic movement. Visit the Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity at Las Piñas City. God bless! 🙏
My grandmother, a devout convert, treasured her Infant of Prague, changing the vestments with tne seasons of the church. This was many years ago as I am now a great grandmother. How wonderful to hear about the origins of the Infant.
Thanks to Infant of Prauge for all favors granted.
Beautiful explanation! The Infant of Prague was and always will be the King of the Catholic Traditional Church,
the King of our Souls, the King of our Hearts and the King of the World 🌎
Catholics need information such as this video. They never get it in so-called Catholic schools. Thank you for this video.
Mrs. Lisa’s contributions to this channel are my favorite. Thank you.
Thank you for posting this. It has touched me profoundly and enlightened my heart!
Beautiful, thank you!!🙏🏻
This is one of the most beautiful, edifying and touching defenses of our Precious Infant of Prague I’ve seen! Viva Christo Rey!
Very beautiful story of a precious devotion ❤
Thank for the back story I had heard this. Very beautiful devotion.
Thank you for a clear explanation of The Infant of Prague. I've seen the statue many times but never knew the backstory. I'm inspired now to get my own statue and pray the chaplet.
My beloved mother was Czech and I can attest that most Czechs cherish the Infant of Prague. This love for the Infant was passed down to me. However, as the matriarch of the family, my mother passed on the love of the Infant to my children. She felt that the Infant was both a religious and cultural treasure.
Very well prepared and presented - and very timely.
Thank you and may God bless you as you honor the Holy Infant❤️🙏🙏🙏😇
The intro is long in getting finally to the Infant of Prague, but, Oh! So worth the wait and buildup. Well done!
The statue of Atlas look more demon than demigod, but then what’s the difference since "all the gods of the pagans are devils."
Let’s see we’ve got some simplistic name-calling. Is that you Donald?
I made a meme of that juxtaposition. Atlas crushed under the weight of the world and the Infant Jesus saying don't worry I got this.
Send it to Kevin! Maybe we can make an ad out of it!
Beautiful video! +Holy Infant God, have mercy on us!
I've seen the Infant of Prague just a bit over a month ago!
A must wonderful explanation for the curious,. I am a cradle Episcopalian who has been interested in Catholicism since I was 13, I am finally doing something about it at 72. The Infant of Praha always seemed to beckon to me, but I could not figure it out why until now. Shared to Pinterest, X, and Facebook. Subscribed,
I said I have the statue of me if I knew Prague in my bedroom on my dresser and I talk to read at night time. I love you so much my mother gave it to me.
Thank you for sharing the Infant Jesus prayer ❤
I never knew about Rockefeller's Atlas - though i worked at or around Rockefeller Center for several years and often attended Mass at the Cathedral. My Mother - an Austrian American with roots in Bohemia - had a beautiful Statue of the Infant, for whom she sewed exquisite Robes.
This is wonderful!! Thank you!!
Perfect!
Holy Infant of Prague, pray for us!
Such a wonderful one! Thank you for these!!
I hope you can cover Senior Santo Nino of Cebu, Philippines and its history. I would love to watch it!
Most Holy Infant Jesus of Prague, have mercy on us and pray for us! 🙏

In the Philippines the holy child Jesus or Sto Niño is so famous. We have different sto niño's in every region and every houses or buildings you can see a sto niño images bcoz we believed he is our protection and guidance.
Jesus told us, “And said: amen I say to you, unless you be converted and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven” (Mt 18:3). Thank you 🙏🏽 for this lovely testimonial of our faith.
Very interesting and well done presentation. Much appreciated.
St. Nino de Cebu is the same, made by Spanish carpenters and centred in Philippines.

There is also the belief that if you honor the infant and keep the infant in your kitchen you will always have food there.

HOLY INFANT JESUS, BLESS AND PROTECT US. AMEN.
Thanks Infant jesus have Mercy on us Amen...
To Thee O Jesus do I flee and through Thy Mother beg of Thee;
For truly I believe that Thou O God will shelter me,
and confidently hope Thy grace to receive.
With all my heart I love Thee, and of my sins repent,
From which I pray Thee deliver me.
My resolution is to amend and never more offend.
I give myself wholly to suffer patiently all for Thee
and serve Thee for eternity.
My neighbor as myself to love for Thee.
O Infant Jesus I implore Thee from all danger set me free;
That with Mary, St Joseph and the Holy Angels
I may love Thee for eternity. Amen. Amen. Amen.
I was just thinking I mean it just ocurred to me, the Declaration of Independence with its "Life, Liberty and pursue of Happiness" which of course the Fathers were Protesntant Christians, not Catholic, is not what the Catholic Faith goes by, "to carry one's cross" , sacrifices waiting for a Life in eternal Heavens.
True. Thankfully, it has historically allowed us to practice our Faith, though, too. By the grace of God, our prayers, sacrifices and prudent action that won't change...
🙏❤️
Thanks for that .
Rockefeller loved PAGANS. He is burning now. The gold statue of Prometheus, the Greek Titan who gave fire to humanity, is located by the ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan. The statue is the centerpiece of the Lower Plaza and is the most photographed monumental sculpture in New York City. American sculptor Paul Manship created the sculpture, which depicts Prometheus going against the gods' wishes and giving fire to humanity.
I guess you have not seen the La Sagrada Familia Cathedral in Barcelona! 3 times or more bigger than this one in NYC
Atlas is not half-man, half-god. He’s a Titan which is the race of deities who came before the gods in Greek mythology. The symbolism with the Christ child is still great though!
Thanks for the clarification.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Child Infant Jesus of Prague
I PRAY for ALL ..children of GOD
AMEN AMEN AMEN 🙏🏻🕯🙏🏻
❤
I am a Protestant, but I grew up Catholic in the Boston area in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Both my parents and my Uncle Jim had replicas of the Infant of Prague on the top of their bureaus in their bedrooms. I remember them changing the clothes of the statue to the colors of the Liturgical Calendars. Frankly, I am extremely disappointed that Rockefeller would place an odious statue of Atlas, a Pagan image, in the direct sight of St. Patrick’s Cathedral! This is an insult to Christianity, whether Roman Catholic, Orthodox Christianity or Protestantism!
AMEN
The statue in. Cebu is older
The Rockefeller family has repeatedly demonstrated its opposition to the Roman Catholic Church since its rise to prominence, and it continues to do so.
Atlas wasn’t a demigod in Greek paganism, but instead a titan. The titans were the beings that preceded the Olympian pagan deities (Zeus, Hera, etc.), and those deities were begotten by two of the titans, Cronus and Rhea.
Thank you for the clarification.
Why is the ''like'' icon been removed on you tube????
I'm seeing it on my feed... 🤔
Infant Jesus of Prague, have pity on us
Czechoslovakia was dissolved in 1992, 32 years ago
I have the sta statue of the Even a prank in my bedroom, I love that statue so much my mother gave me that statue and it sits on my dresser and every night I talk to wait so everyone have a blessed night
A statue they just showed a video from the parade if that’s the one in my bedroom
Chechoslovakia?
And here you see how old my resources (and my brain) are! In the 1600s, it would have been Bohemia, I believe.
I think she meant Czech Republic. Spelling?
@@marym.338 She did. 😉
Used to be Chekoslovaquia allowing wrong spelling for a long time until the Soviet collapsed. It became Chzeck Republic
Funny enough the Czech Republic is the most atheist nation in the world.
So sad. 😢
@@davisfarm9 Why? , it's great. Laws are based on reason, not fairy tales and mythology.
I expect you'll eventually find out, @@stevemcgowen Mark it.
Better question might be, do you know Jesus? “This is the way to eternal life, that they might know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” John 17:3
I don't mean to be rude but you know that the Infant of Prague is a statue of Jesus?...
Thank you, I mean to be respectful as well. Maybe I just don’t understand. It just seems (from outward appearances), that a man made statue is honored, adorned with gold and jewels, and prayed to, replacing the real Jesus who wants to have a personal relationship with us, speaking to us through His word. The original 10 Commandments, written by the finger of God, forbade making images for this very reason.
In 2011 my husband and I lost everything, but I won’t go into the story because it is a long and arduous journey. What I will do is go with the story on how I found my Christ infant statue. I lost all my statues of Jesus, Mary and the Holy Family, including my Bible and rosaries, all of which I missed and having them with me, my mother gave them to me at an early age. We had lost everything we owned and we became homeless at 62. During our homelessness, I had seen something at this one yard sale, and decided to stop and see what they had for sale. The statue was hidden somewhat, so I decided to see about finding it. They called it a doll, but I knew what it truly was and proceeded to buy it from them. It didn’t cost me too much and it was less expensive than whatever else they had for sale. We were 6 years homeless and I kept it close by me at all times until we found a place to call our own. We have been in our new home now for the past 7 years and now my infant Jesus has a place of honor in my china hutch with my mom’s dishes. I don’t need any other statue of Jesus, only this one. I believe it is the image of the infant of Prague, because it reminds me a lot of it. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
