The rocks sticking out of the piramid sides are to hold the original stucco finish, now dissapired. 👍🤙😁 what a complete tour of mexico city you did guys... Im glad you visited the Univercity City; an exceptional place almost not visited by turist, and very represnetative of the culture and vibe of CDMX and its youth... I spend some of my favorite years there, studing and just hanging out in the grass, oh those years.... Hehe 👌👌👌 you got a new sub.
Thank you!! We’re so glad to have that questions answered - we didn’t have a tour guide there, so that was one thing we were scratching our heads about. CDMX overall is an amazing city, and we can’t wait to go back to explore more. We stopped at University City to see the central library. The vibe was amazing, though. I think it was graduation day, so we saw a lot of students taking photos with their friends and families. Made me wish I had gone to university there, so I can see why you’d be nostalgic for it! How long did you spend in CDMX?
I just got back from Mexico City earlier this week, spent 6 days there and I loved it so much! These were actually the few things I did not get to do with my time there, so it was nice to see it from your perspective.
Thank you! We’re really grateful to hear you enjoyed the video. It’s such a huge place - it’s almost impossible to see everything! Definitely worthy of another trip - I know we’ll be back
@@kineticpassports exactly! I didn't want to rush it, I have enjoyed traveling a little slower lately. And I would love to go back and now have some things to look forward to!! Safe travels :)
Hahaha! That’d be me 🙋🏻♀️ If you want the full play-by-play of the fine dining experience, check out our most recent Mexico City video (released today)
Please, stop going to Frida Khalo museum, in México she is not a big thing. There are so many other women artists That they have a much better developed art than Frida's and that they are not recognized.
One of our favorite countries to visit 😊

Was there a long wait for the Frida Musuem?
Tickets are timed so not a huge wait if you buy the ticket for the exact time.

Always good to hear from someone who knows more that we do. Which artists/museums would you recommend us (or others) check out in Mexico?
😂😂
Or, you know, maybe just let people enjoy what they like.
