I had a question and couldn't find it - I'm wearing the Batwing Lace Sweater! www.mooglyblog.com/batwing-lace-sweater/ :)
Wish I could have seen this months ago! I ended up taking the whole project apart. This is amazing. Thank you
This is a lifesaver!! I am a beginner at crochet and just started making my first cardigan. I got the correct gauge, but tried to make my outfit smaller and somehow found out it was too small after completing my back piece 🤦🏻♀️ Really didn’t want to take it apart. Thank you thank you thank you!!
Exactly my situation 😂
You don’t know how hard it was for me to find a video that explained how to just add in yarn to the project!! I’m a brand new crocheter and I needed to work on a different part of my first project and I found videos of “ending” the project but I didnt know how to start my crocheting in another spot after cutting the yarn. Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for this tutorial!! I'm making my first crochet top and I've been so sad because I reallyy didn't want to start over lol😭 This was literally so helpful!!
Thank you so much, I was dreading have to unravel my blanket, especially as I'm crocheting it to a deadline, save loads of time!!!
Thank you, Tamara! I wish I'd known this years ago to have avoided pulling out a 300 ch starting chain which was 3 or 4 stiches short. Would have saved me an awful lot of frustration and the air around me would not have been so blue with this technique!
LITERAL LIFE-SAVER! I made a mistake with a mesh shirt that would take too long to frog and re-do, so this is a huge help. Thank you!
OH MY GOD YOU ARE MY LIFESAVERRRRRR!!! im currently making a sweater for my best friend and i messed up by making one panel a few cm shorter than the other SO THIS HELPED A LOTTT AAAA i didnt do it perfectly and it came out wonky but it was still so so so much better than having to redo an entire panel I CANT THANK U ENOUGGHHH ❤!
I’ve been looking for this exact thing for months! I’m so glad I finally found this video. Thank you so much.
I’m so happy you made this video and phrased it the way you did since it’s exactly what I was searching for! I am a beginner and I did not want to start my project over.
Tamara, you have just saved my first crochet cardigan ever - THANK YOU 🦋
I am crocheting my first sweater, and this literally saved my project! Thank you 😊
I just don't know how much to thank you!!! I am almost done with a baby blanket & realised it is short by a few inches on the sides. Your video is a God send! Tnq tnq tnq...😘❤❤❤
God bless you!
thank you so much for this, i just started my first sweater and 8 hours in realised it‘s not wide enough 😩
this helped so much, i probably would have stopped crocheing altogether for a couple months
OMG..your amazing. lso need to tell you how much I appreciate you using a mic, your voice and directives are so clear..Thank you for doing this.
You are a godsend!!! I was about to make the most uneven pouch ever but you saved the day!!
this video was so helpful! I spent hours making squares for a patchwork sweater and realized my squares were too small and didn't want to start over and waste yarn. literally a godsend!
Literally me right now! I’ve been crying and frantically looking for a way to add- I accidentally did 5 inches and 5 cm instead of 5 and a half inches. I feel so stupid but I’m so happy it’s fixable because I’ve spent 1 week to do 4 squares
@@Loser_69 sammmeee me rn too haha
I love this technique. I actually understood it.
Hello Tamara!
I was SO excited when I found your video, I literally teared up as I watched it. There are no words that can express how you've rocked my 75 year old world! You have no idea how many projects I have given up on, that this tutorial would have changed the outcome. Along with the project I usually put crochet away, too. I've yet to move beyond the *experienced beginner* stage. Kind of stuck here after 70 years of practice😢.
I have a question/request, and feel guilty even asking, you've already been so generous. A few years back, I suffered a brain injury that makes it very difficlt to understand complex issues. The first time I saw your video it looked SO simple. Unfortunately, when I went back with my swatch, after the first row I got lost. Do you possibly have a written copy of this available? I've tried so many times. I even tried the transcript and tried to write it myself, but still can't seem to get it right.
You have no idea how high on the pedistal I have you right now.❤ Thank you So very, very much 😊.
Awesome tip! I'm working with the wattle stitch and made the blanket too narrow. I was going to add a wider border, but I think I'll try this on a scrap sample before I start the border. Thanks Tamara!
YOU JUST SAVES MY LIFE THANK U CROCHET GODDESS
Oh my! Thank you so much! You save me from redo all my stitches 😆 thank you so so soooo much 😘😘😘
That was exactly what I needed thank you so much for this video 💕
thankyou so much!! the moment i saw the title of this video, i was so relieved. it perfectly summed up my doubt and i immediately clicked, so dw, your title for the video was great
Omg you literally just saved my life
I wanted to cry but then I found this video🌹 thank you so much
This is a very needed video!!!!
Hi Tamara this is exactly what I’ve been wanting to do so I’m glad your video popped up when I did my search which was how to add side panels to crochet top ! Thank you❤
Thank you Tamara, I have had to do this in a wip, recently. , wasnt real sure if it was a doable thing, now i know .Cool!
Thank you for showing this. I need to do this to finish my blanket
I usually don't comment on videos, but you just saved me with this tutorial haha :) I did a sweater with a tapestry front panel in single crochet , but the rest is double crochet (so my front panel ended up way more narrow). This fixed my problem! Thanks :)
Wow...like this so much! I tear out lots as I learn. This will come in handy.
Thank you so much! 🖤 You saved me time & a lot or re-work!
Game changer...such a great thing to know....thanks!
You are a life saver! Thanks so much for this!!!
Thank you for this video. That is a great way to fix a project
Thank you, this will let me retrieve one of my WIPs from the penalty box!
You are a lifesaver!!!
Love u so much
Been searching this for daysss
Thank u
Thank you so much! I'm working on my first big(ish) project (making a sofa pillow) and realised the motif was too far to one side. Since it uses different colours and is quite big(ish), I was dreading having to take it apart and start over (eek). This is a real life-saver!
You helped me so much!!! I’m a beginner crocheter. Thank you 😭❤️
Love this! Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful. So clever. Thank you very much.
You just saved my life and my too small tank top. For the life of me, gauges correct, I cannot fit (or my kid either) any sizes ever posted lol. I added on 12 stitches to each side of front panel of tank and w the stitch and yarn I was using, you can’t even tell! I’m a beginner so this was awesome. Thank you thank you!
I'm so glad to hear it! ♥
Thank you. I was stuck with a project and found tour solution at the right time.e
Thank you!!! I’m crocheting a blanket but the blanket wasn’t wide enough and I thought I had to start over from the beginning !!
You just saved me from frogging about 20 rows of a blanket. Thank you!!
Thank you thank you thank you thank youuuu for this😭❤️❤️❤️I appreciate you
Wow, this has been helpful, thank you
Thank you!!! Need to use on a filet blanket i miscounted on. This probably would have easier to see in regular yarn.
Great explanation. I have vintage patterns on my site which could use this method so have linked to your video.
Thank you. Great tutorial.
It really helps me. Thank you so much
Thank you. This would have saved many projects.
I'm making my first blanket at noticed after 30 rows I've widened by a few, and I need to add a bit on both sides at the start. Thank you!
Genius! Thank you!
Thank you for this!
Thank you so much. Helped me a lot
Very handy idea 👍🏻
I accidentally made a sweater back slimmer as I went up so this is an absolute lifesaver
Thanks a lot ma'am this is really life saving...❤ my first ever crochet project of a cardigan... the 1st body panel came too narrow and I really don't want to pull it out... thanks a lot ❤🙏❤
I always have a habit of crocheting too tight so my projects always end up shrinking. Wish I would have known this trick years ago. It would have saved so much frustration. Thank you.
So helpful! Thank you
This is so great
Very interesting! Thank you.
Thanks for a great video!! I'm so glad you showed doing a dc too in this. I'm trying to line up and seam the sides of a sweater with repeat hdc row, dc row, then another hdc row, then sc row and repeat. Hopefully I'll manage the bumpier side seams I have. I was trying to find exactly what you're showing :D I'd seen a crochet sweater with decorative added stitches and wanted to see how to do it. THANKS!!!
I'm so glad it helped! ♥
Thank you for this I really didn't wanna start over
Desperately needed this a few months ago I had been pretty ill and didn't realize I was way short at least 2_3 inches on the sides of a ripple baby blanket I ended up putting a made up border of hdc around it 4 times and then a picot ,wasn't satisfied with it but it will work
Amazing, thank you so much
Awesome ..very helpful
Great video!
Life saver!
Thank u so much I like this God bless u
Tks a million!!!
Thanks for theis love it
Thank you ❤
I needed this at Christmas. My pillow back was a tad narrow because I was doing plaid and it got too tight.
Thank you Tamara gonna put that one in my "tool box" , that way, I will never get stocked!😀
Thank-you for this I made my cardigan too small and I really wanna fix it
Great idea for join as you go panels in different colors
Yes, great idea!!
Thank you so much
Thank you!
Awesome! 👏🐈💐🥇⭐
So nice 👌
Thank God for this
Hi Tamara. I love your jumper
Thank you!
life saver
This is fantastic, and I wish I knew this about a month ago! Just frogged it and made something else. I would like to know too how to remove or add vertical length from the bottom of a piece already worked.
I have it on the list, thank you, Joanne!
I love your voice
Great video. It's nice to put a face to the voice!
can you show what it looks like in the same color? thanks!
How do you add to the bottom of your sweater of a cast on the foundation chain as it's too short. Thanks, Siobhan, from South Africa.
Thank you now I don't have to take project apart.
Hi, I hope you get to read my comments, as I need some advice. I have crocheted a throw, with 88 castons, I think. However, by the time I finished, the number of castons increased to 136. Pattern was half double crochet design to make a moss stitch. Can you please help? The rings increased uniformly on both sides. Instead of a rectangle, it looks like a trapezium.
How to create more stich on baby blankets
Could you make a video on how to narrow the sides from a too wide crocheting?
That would mean cutting the end stitch off every row, unraveling back to the stitch you want, and then weaving in all those ends.
Great video!!! Wondering if it is possible to widen a mesh stitch project, specifically the shell mesh stitch. I just finished my piece and it doesn’t fit :’(((( I really hope I can save it by adding on extra stitches !! xx
If you chain out enough, you should be able to work in the mesh stitch back and forth! :)
Thank you sooo muuucchh for the video..
i really need this. I'm very frustrated because the left and right panels of my cardigan differ in length by about 3 cm and I don't have time to remake it because of the deadline. you're a live saver..
I want to ask, can this step be done for the mini puff stitches?
thank you.. ❤
I'm sorry I missed this before, but I don't see why not!
This is my 1st time watching your videos and I learned how to crochet in school so I'm thinking you could help me to double crochet
