I’ve started building my own DIY power stations. the first was a 135 AH lithium battery with 1200 W inverter, 60A AC and 50A DC/DC charger. Just waiting on cells to arrive on the slow boat from china to arrive any day now and it will be a beefy 304AH battery, 3000W inverter and 100A AC charger ready to tackle electric cooking on the go. I bolt them into pelican cases and you end up with a powerful portable unit for no more than off the shelf commercial options. Next after that will be a 24V version. There’s heaps of YT tutorials on how to build them and it’s an incredibly satisfying project. Just need to be careful as the amount of juice in these boxes is enough to give approaching scary levels.

Great video. I purchased an Itechworld Ps1300 and it does great at home and in the 200.

Thanks for your comment and watching mate.
I'm not a fan of the all in one power stations, if something breaks your whole system is down. You also have to compromise on inverter, charging and battery size to fit in the small box. They look amazing but I'd rather stick with a battery and battery box.

I use solar panels and a nice charge controller. When your ac goes out they still work. Solar works awesome with lithium, just built a nice lithium battery.

Hey mate, thanks for watching and commenting, Your not wrong there Sola is amazing and free power! 2x200 amp solar blacks would match the power input of this. But the sun has to be out for solar to work, Queensland has not had much of that the past 4 months unfortunately

Interesting topic. I have a victron ac/dc charger that I use. It’s got the ability to change stuff. If you need to charge quicker, I think that the Victron Multiplus units could be the way to go. They can charge batteries at up to 120 amp, but they are not cheap.

G'Day Gary, just looked at them 120amp charging wow! That's mental only issue I've found with victron is they do not like heat, above 25°c you start to loose power from the charger and inverter only brand I've seen that is that sensitive to heat.
