Please sir, your vid’s are no where close to crappy. I actually love the simple, clean approach to showing off any knife. Altho I would like to have your opinions unfiltered trough the “diplomatic” approach 😅👍🏻. About the knife itself I’m not going to comment. It seems “the knife community” is reflecting more and more the same approach to reality as the society (Western) it came out of. “If it’s not positive keep it for yourself” BS is not attuning with me anymore. To end on a good note: thank you so much for your presence and continuing input in the knife world. 🤜🏻🤛🏻

The first custom collaboration with a knife company was the Spyderco/Terzuola C-15 circa 1989 and yes there was Micro-Tech/Terzuola ATCF Auto that was bolster actuated, USA Made.
I believe Terzuola collaborated with Microtech back in the day, that was probably the first US collaboration. It's definitely nice to see another US collaboration though.
@@shmavey94 It was, & was super early in their history. Bob wanted it to be made in the USA. If I recall, Les de Asis made it for them. PVK has one in stock, it's the C15
@@EpicSnuggleBunny Yep, the TRM's are nice. And the Auto back in the day with Microtech is one I wanted badly and was not able to get back when. Those are the only others two I know of for USA made partnerships.
This is epic! I love Terzuola's designs, the CRKT was a big letdown, looks wise. Living in the UK, this is unavailable for me anyway due to loisense issues. CRKT should do a standard grind model of the BT70 they did, it would do better than the first one.imo

Yeah, true. I had a Protech Magic Whiskers. Slightly smaller than the Terzuola? Could close it one-handed, but not the easiest thing in the world to do.
@@Adamas11 With a little practice you could be expert at it. I can open and close mine 10 times in under a minute. Here is a youtube video showing it: ua-cam.com/video/HJJ7J_9xC-M/v-deo.html
Protech’s fit and finish is always spot on, and this design is awesome…but I wish they’d knock it off with the aluminum. I absolutely loved the Malibu, but the handles completely killed the knife. Feels so cheap, and the anodized coating is chintzy compared to the heft and feel of stonewashed titanium.
@@BuffaloNickel9 Honestly I would prefer G10 to the aluminum. I recently handled a Benchmade Super Freek and the G10 on that thing is actually kinda cool.
@@EldenLord84 No G10 is just as cheap feeling, you had it right the first time my friend- stonewashed titanium! Why anyone would prefer aluminum over titanium I don't know...it's chintzy and the minimal weight savings is not worth it to me
@@EldenLord84 funny, the Benchmade super freak G10 is one of the only ones I'm okay with... As well as the G10 /carbon fiber like Spyderco uses on a few models like the smok...although I'd rather just have full carbon fiber or Ti

I love how tall the blade is. Wish it was thinner behind the edge but overall it looks fantastic, definitely a winner.
Another epic upload by my favorite bunny 🐰 thanks I'll be hunting one 😀
Great looking knaf.

Right you are! A follower on Instagram also reminded me of the TRM collaboration as well, so I was incorrect twice.
The Spyderco knife they did was the first US Terzuola production model. I forgot the model, but it was the first knife he did with them.
@@k-ozdragon true, I forgot about that one. I may be remembering incorrectly but that might've been Spyderco's first collaboration as well.

Good video brother the carbon fiber models just hit order one from Arizona knives looking forward to it
Heyyyyy! I feel like I haven't seen you in a while. I've missed watching you pull out unattainable knives like it's no big deal.
Where did you get the Protech coins in the video? I love Protech knives and own 55 of them.

Not a fan of that milled clip personally, but I get it 👏🏻. I really do like everything else though! Beautiful profile
Ya the clip seems a bit out of place. Badass knife besides that and the price
This one is tempting, but may wait for the model with carbon fiber inlays.
Can this one be closed one-handed?
Anything can be closed one handed if you're brave enough 👍🏻

Good to know Frank. Thanks.
I have the original Microtech Terzuola D/A in Linnen Micarta. Would consider selling it. Identical to this knife with Titaniun scales.
How much?
Prefer they upgrade the aluminum to Ti at this price point...otherwise loving it.
I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it was a manual.
I want one bad!!!
Very nice design but ridiculous prices in my opinion.

They are finally doing a texture on the AL scales for the Malibu similar to G10 in feel according to David
Nothing worse than an auto with a lazy spring. Never have to worry about that with protech that's for sure.
