Man, I'm not from the US but I respect and admire US military and law enforcement, and that story of Protech pausing everthing they're doing to take care of them gave me goosebumps. Amazing guy and entrepreneur. Hats off

Man I always say it, but Dave is such a class act! I know if he could, he'd get a protech knife in everyone's hands! Such a great businessmen and nice guy! Cheers to you Dave!
I've never been that into Pro-Tech. But after watching this video I want one. It's the stories behind the product that inspire me. And as someone that lives in Cambria, CA I will now search tirelessly for that model.
Dave is just in all the aspects an amazing man, started working for Pro-tech about 9 months ago and everything that is mentioned in this video is 100% authentic and true, he treats us like Family and really trusts each and every person to do what is expected.
Such a great video..his passion and experiences really do come through! Thanks for doing this podcast and good luck with future ones!

protech is currently my favorite knife maker. Im waiting for the pdw invictus auto and the newport to drop again.
I was able to talk with Dave at the 2023 Blade show in Atlanta. I had purchased a OTF in box with the original paperwork. You could feel the nostalgia hear him talk about the entire family working at the kitchen table.

Great podcast guys, I’m very excited. I don’t have too many nice knives yet but I definitely want some protech’s, they are just awesome USA made knives and Dave being a great guy makes it even better.
And God bless Dave for his support for our military and law inforcement, I will definitely be a protech customer.

I love Dave and Protech knives. It’s my dream to meet him but I’ll have to wait until school is done 😢. Also I wish they would bring back the don. I currently own 13 Protech knives and am always adding to the collection

They do put them on their knives. In fact, I believe they have the only 3D milled deep carry clip on the market.
Besides that, you'd be adding about $80-$100 in cost on every knife, for a part most customers will snag on a seatbelt & break. There's a reason why clips are easily replaceable.
