    I love this brand & was so excited to try this out. I didn’t initially like as much as I had hoped but with more use, I’m liking it much more. What I didn’t like was how it emulsified; it didn’t seem to much & that put me off. I have found that if I emulsify it first and apply to damp skin (totally opposite of how you normally use an oil cleanser), I really like it & it works much better for me. I love the texture, not runny but not super thick. Just right. To me, it has a definite scent, almost kind of nutty/earthy and I quite enjoy it. I’m glad that I gave this a second chance & would definitely buy it again when it’s finished ❤

    Which do you like better, this one or the peach and lily ginger cleanse oil? Thank you 😊

    • @NOBSBeauty

      Both are wonderful so you can't go wrong with either. The BOJ one is a bit lighter in texture, actually much lighter and spreads a bit more easily and therefore a little of it goes a lot further and the bottle lasts longer because of that. The P&L is much thicker. I'd say if you use a lot of stubborn makeup or water-resistant sunscreen the P&L is able to get more of this off with less effort. Otherwise I'd go with the BOJ, and it is a bit more affordable.

    This is my next oil cleanser to try so I'm happy to hear the good review! I'm using the iunik calendula cleansing oil currently and it just isn't great. It feels a little thick, doesn't take off mascaras completely and doesn't emulsify well. I'm hopeful about BofJ, can't wait to be done with Iunik, but maybe I'll pass it along to my sister to jump the line and try this.

    • @gwendolinehall1386
      @gwendolinehall1386 26 днів тому

      @@hanimuumz2281 yes, I have. It's a much thinner oil, and smells pretty strongly of ginseng. It did a good job, I think it emulsified well, but I wouldn't repurchase. I'll keep trying other oil cleansers. It wasn't the best at removing mascara, I think the thicker oil cleansers like iunik and DHC are better for that and heavy duty kind of task. But if you're someone that mostly just wears sunscreen, it'll do that job nicely. If you aren't a fan of fragrance, I'd avoid this. I don't think it's a synthetic fragrance, it's the ginseng, which has a very noticeable earthy smell.

    Hi I'm Loretta De Los Rios using Frank's account to make this comment with his permission.
    I Bought the Joseon Ginseng cleansing oil ! I had high Hope's on it but the soybean oil causes me to develop small white pimples to be precise. I dont think i knew it had olive oil also SARAH! the mixture of these oils can cause breakouts on certain skin types. Stylevana wont take it back. I think I should of purchase their cleansing balm. I use the Elemis Naked Cleansing balm very nice. Purito has a pretty good cleansing oil called" from green cleansing oil. " Also the brand Mad Hippie! it contains Ginger, Rosehip and Pumpkin see oil. The natural scent is divine (not overpowering at all! ) since they recommend to drape a warm cloth over the face and leave it on for a minute till the cloth is cool and wipe your face. And leaves the skin nice, smooth & bright and if you want to double cleanse with it buy the Mad Hippie jelly cleanser and or their cream cleanser.. I have tried it so far with the jelly cleanser! It contains Rose. Chamomile, and HA., it's nice. I also like to cleanse with the 100% argan oil from Skin Deva! Love this Argan oil! Its authentic. I also use it to seal my Skin Deva serums. I have hypersensitive sensitive skin, normal, semi acne prone.

    Lol. I too still remember the two teachers that gave me a 90 per cent instead of a 100 per cent in high school. One was because the mandatory notes transcripts weren't "justified". It of course wasn't my fault because I didn't have a computer but everything was typed in a typing machine because we were too poor (b%*#). The other one was in English as a second language. Oh well... tgat is to say I feel your pain.

    That is so frustrating about the art teacher and ridiculous! The same thing happened to my son he actually got straight A's all year and one be kept him off distinguished honors in an art class. The irony is his father is an artist. Ugh. Anyway as for acne prone oil cleansers my favorite one is the inkey list oatmeal cleansing balm it's great for my sensitive oily skin.

      Hi Loretta De Los Rios using Frank's account to make this comment with his permission. The Joseon Ginseng cleansing oil Sarah is speaking about in this video is thick
      And if you have dry skin like you say the Soybean with the olive oil should suit you. Also try the Mad Hippie cleansing oil. It contains Ginger, Rosehip & Pumpkin seed oil. Also the Elemis cleansing balm it's a bit pricey but I think it's worth it. And it should last awhile.

      I use the Peach & Lily Peach Pudding oil cleanser. It’s whipped in the container & as you rub it in it starts to melt. Then add water & keep washing with it. I’m 59 with dry skin & love that one. Also for a go to cleanser, for over 20 years now I’ve used Purity Made Simple Cleanser by Philosophy. It’s gentle, yet it will remove waterproof mascara and makeup. It’s my old stand by when nothing else will work.😉

    Regarding the art teacher: I’m angry for you! And funnily enough, I was the opposite of you. I was TERRIBLE at Math; but for whatever reason, Geometry just clicked for me. Also, I thought most cleansing oils were good for acne prone skin. I must have misread or misheard that somewhere 😬

    May I ask you what your rainbow stands for in back ground? I hope it just bc you like rainbows and it's not about the LGBT community!! I'm sorry but I can't stand what that community has done to our rainbows and I can't help but think of LGBT community when I see one, but I have feeling that's not what you are representing, could you tell me if I'm wrong or right??
