Now brands must list everything in correct order so they can't just say 70% extract and not list what is in this extract in correct order. Like reformulated Purito centella serum, it actually has around 3% of centella while before it was 50% centella extract. If you ever get I'm From toner that is made in 2024 or later, rice probably won't be the first ingredient. I hope I explained this good, English is not my first language

I have oily skin and the BoJ has a soft matte finish on me, not tacky at all even with multiple layers. It also with long term use managed to be a great ally in oil control and texture.
I have dry skin and absolutely love the I'm From toner during all seasons. When it's cold or dry you can do two or three layers that moisturizes the skin without feeling greasy. Apparently, some people with dry skin has had problems with the Beauty of Joseon rice toner after prolonged use, maybe because of the kaolin ingredient.
@@Style_hy Yes, it has niacinamide which is a slightly brightening ingredient on its own, but this toner also creates a direct effect from the rice bran extract that "lights up" the skin and in my opinion hides redness nicely. If you have stubborn hyperpigmentation issues it would not be sufficient though, that may require stronger doses of arbutin or tranexamic acid, or presciption niacinamide in a good amount.
@@JD-xd4syhave you tried the isntree yam root toner and the goodal rice milk toner? They all seem to be milky toners with rice as an ingredient that brightens and moisturise dry skin but they're cheaper than I'M FROM. I can't decide which one to try for the upcoming winter.

Yep- Niacinamide is the newest skincare "darling" and it is in nearly every new product I review. I think more people may be sensitive to high amounts of it than I realized.
The big difference for me is the darn triethylhexanoin, which is also in the Dr Ceuracle. It's in a lot of creamy textured products, and my skin is extremely sensitive to it😬 They call it an emollient/perfuming ingredient 🤷♀️Have a beautiful weekend🌤💗

Kaolin is not an ingredient I want in my skincare. Isn’t it an oil absorbing ingredient? I actually have to add oil to my face for it not to flake and peel on a daily basis. I really feel that the I’m From does help my skin retain a bit of moisture.
Yes- Kaolin is going to absorb oil, seems a little odd that they put it in a "hydrating" toner. I'm kind of at a loss as to why they would add that into their formula to be honest.

I ran out and stopped using it for a while (not sure why) I purchased one a couple of weeks ago and it gives me absolutely no glow. Now I'm wondering, was I using a glowy cleanser when I first started using the toner and that's why I had glowy skin. I guess my question is, does this give you a really brightening glowy complexion or was it my cleanser? 😂 TIA xx
She spoke about TirTir several weeks back. You won't see her trying anything from that brand. TirTir was gifting Influencers luxury gifts so they basically bought/bribed their amazing reviews.

Apparently in their culture, it’s important not to slight someone so a gift is a must, the more expensive the better. I’m not explaining it as well as Alice did, but it really made sense. It could just have been a different culture value from American/Western views.

Thank you all for chiming in with the facts. It was pretty disheartening to see a brand giving away 10,000$ and up purses and gifts. If the brand works and is something people still want to try that's great and go for it, but I do think people should be aware of what is going on before they make that decision. Nothing wrong with those who like them and use their products, it is hard enough to find something that works well!

That Neogen High R Exosome Cream is such a steal- super affordable, great ingredients, wonderful anti-aging benefits, and layers so well with other products you cannot beat it! I've been testing out the Haruharu Phyto Cica Cream (will do my full review of it asap). I've played around with it for daytime and a little bit at nighttime- I'm going to have to try it as the last step like you mentioned. Right now I've been putting it after my tretinoin and before the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream and the Cosrx Snail Cream- hope to have my review of that ready in the next couple of weeks. It is quite nice overall and I love the peptides they used in it.

The word was acnegenic (able to cause acne), she mentioned that BOJ has vitamin e, which is an acnegenic ingredient so Im from wins the point for having no acnegenic ingredients. Hope this helps! :)
@funsizedhongp7574 is correct. Vitamin E can be acnegenic for some people and it is in the toner. Overall most people won't have any issue with the Vitamin E in it but some with really acne prone skin can have issues with it clogging pores.
The I'm From Rice Toner stung my skin. I also didn't care for the way it felt on my skin. For some reason I don't wanna try the Beauty of Joseon. I'm happy with the toners I'm currently using and I'm using the Ginseng Water Essence which I really like.
It stung my skin too. But I know it's the niacinamide. Unfortunately The beauty of josan has hyaluronic acid which also stings my skin. So it's a no for both.
It stung my skin a couple of years ago when my moisture barrier was out of wack, but the sensation always disappeared after a short while and it never broke me out. Nowadays, it doesn't even sting at all.

No, I've been working on losing weight seriously for a couple years. Last fall started running again, cutting out sugar, and stopped drinking pop- honestly, I think the biggest thing there was to stop drinking pop because some days I would drink 3-4 bottles. Just terrible for so much sugar. The best thing is my blood pressure is finally back in normal range. Since 2021 I've lost about 60 pounds.

For me is niacinamide. Nowadays niacinamide is in everything and I just don’t want to have more in one more step of my routine

Currently, I am using Goodal and Thank you farmer rice milk toner. I prefer the Thank You Farmer toner. The texture is lovely and more moisturizing.

@nyefayth8918 It was the Triethylhexanoin for me. I use niacinamide fine. But that frangrant/emollient. Stings my whole face. Like wildfire 🔥
