We just picked up our first RV too. Brinkley Z3610, not a toy hauler but 43.5’ of camping Bliss. One of the perks of getting older. I picked up a mint (nearly) 07 5.9 with 117k miles for temporary use until Ford builds my 2024 F350, the RV came early so picked up the RAM for short trips. Switched to the GenY Executive Gooseneck. It pulls great but switching out that hitch wasn’t much fun. I am now selling the RAM if anyone wants a Rust Free Texas truck.
Got to love the ATC toyhaulers for their light weight. My 36' is 11,300. The 40' are 13K. but they are BIG money new. Some serious deals on lightly used ones with the economy. I put a Gen Y goose conversion on mine. Best choice for ease and towing. Pulled with a 20' RAM 3500 dually HO, HD.
Wish I could have gone gen Y, but they're setup is even shorter than my factory pinbox unfortunately. Longest one was the shocker hitch setup, but is exactly the same length as my pin box
I’ve had the same struggle before with owning 3 2500 and 1 3500 pickup and still struggling to find a truck to pull my goosenecks at times. One truck may be down, the other one is somewhere else or towing another trailer or most of my trucks have big fuel tank/toolbox combos or a wheel borrow air compressor and they interfere with the gooseneck trailer.
I’m glad to see I’m not the only guy with these problems. I understand your struggle and appreciate the videos. 🤘🏻
Sweet 5th gen!!!

Have you checked out the GenY goose neck adapter. I think that have that might move the trailer back some inches to clear your box.
I did. Not far enough unfortunately
Nice work man
Time for a Peterbilt.
I have a freightliner
Dang I need to be a farmer 😂 I thought all farmers were hurting for money
It's a 16yr old trailer, not new
How does it ride with it the king pin behind the axle? Im a truck driver, so i know how much it sucks to have the 5th wheel too far back
Like if it was in front of the axle, perfect
Bs bs😊
