hey watcmojo why the hell are you doing bull like top 30 tv shows that made fun of Disney = stuffs like that is overrated
sometimes Watchmojo had become more overrated then Michael bay at a 4th of July party!
I don't think JLo is a bad actress but probably made questionable choices when picking roles however critics alike for some reason ignore her breakout performance as the Tejano singer Selena and consider her role in Hustlers as a breakout performance instead.
Adam Sandler in Spanglish was surprising good too 🎉
@eddiejoewalt7746 you should make more whiney posts.
Shia LaBeouf isn’t a bad actor though. He might be eccentric and weird af but he’s not a bad actor
He became exceptional as an adult
I said the same thing when I saw him in intro
@@egroom8714he's literally a serial thief, just plagiarizing anything he sees
Fury anyone???
I agree Shia is a great actor
This is basically actors that end up in shitty movies making great performances in good ones
Except Steven Seagul
💯
@@DERRTYCHYBO never said any of them were good or bad to be fair hehehe
Except Shia is actually a great actor. He was amazing in Fury and did Honey Boy the same year as The Peanut Butter Falcon, both outstanding movies and performances!
He's a plagerizer tho....deserves 0 credit
He also did a movie called Tru Confessions. His performance in that was fantastic.
Wait, Adam Sandler isn't a bad actor, he just did bad (yet very profitable) movies. haha
He has zero comedic talent but for some reason, he is pretty good in dramatic ones
Most his movies are just simple or silly but knew what they were why I loved most them, but he was unreal in uncut gems
Anyone who saw Punch Drunk Love would know full well he doesn't belong on this list.
That basically jerry seinfeld lol.....i guess thats why he never made a movie besides animated ones@@Nicho213007
Why do people hate his movies? His movies are simple, plots which haven't been done before, and his movies are quotable!
Vince Vaughn really giving that Kingpin energy
Gonna be honest, he was real good in Into the Wild.
"Wedding Crashers" anyone?!
Excuse me. Adam Sandler, Tyler Perry, Hayden Christensen, Vince Vaughn, and Marlon Wayans are great actors.
Hayden just plays in bad movies to show his talent.
@@lejdownTyler Perry is nothing resembling a good actor, unless you consider acting like an old lady all the time good
Tyler Perry ehhh 😂
HahahahahahahahHaa very funny putting Tyler Perry in their. Oh wait your serious.
@@thunderb4stard80 ok ya I knew I was not alone on that lol
I still don’t understand how Steven Seagal did so well in Under Seige. He’s genuinely the worst actor I’ve ever seen.
UA-cam - Space Ice . His channel won't disappoint you if you don't like Steven . I promise !
He had a great director for the genre (Andrew Davis - he also made The Fugitive), and the rest of the cast, that speaks for itself.
He wasn’t a bad actor. He was a bad comedian tho lol. Hosting SNL was his worst decision. He’s a good action actor but the guy has absolutely no sense of humor
watch every other movie he's ever done; compare them to Under Seige. It comes out on top. I think it was helped though by Tom Lee Jones and Cary Guffey as well (as the bad guys),.
@@andrewmurray1550 Gary Busey
Hayden is not gonna like Dune 2....too much sand. 😂
Well... it's coarse and irritating.
@@owie4070 and it gets everywhere
Definitely
I get the joke.
Or any of them, for that matter
Hayden has really turned Anakin around recently.
He hasn't. Dude still can't act. Millennials just got their nostalgia button pushed.
Shia is an awesome actor, troubled and a bit of a nutbag at times but a supremly talented at the craft
So exceptional he has to plagiarize entire works of art??? Foh
Ah yes… this list is a mess!
I will defend Adam Sandler. Even in his comedy movies he shows how amazing he is like when he says goodbye to Julien in Big Daddy.
Also Reign Over Me is a great movie.
The Wedding Singer is awesome! And The Water Boy is charming.
Spanglish was good too
Hustle was fire
@@blessbymusichustle is his best to me. But ya reign over me was amazing, and everyone seems to forget about , Click
Adam Sandler is a fantastic actor he simply found a niche that worked and only chose to leave it every now and again
That’s probably most of these actors on the list.
Adam sandler's strongest performance has to be "Reign Over Me" with Don Cheadle. If you haven't seen this movie I highly recommend it!
second this! Sandler definitely has what it takes
Agreed. Disappointed they didn't mention it in this.
@@mattkrieger3428ya he’s definitely been good in plenty of movies.
Critics and Hollywood types know nothing about good movies.
True
We're all critics. Some of the best ones ever actually did study the filmmaking process. Or in the case of Roger Ebert, were once part of it.
Not really true
Uncut Gems, Adam Sandler gave his best performance of his career. Steven Seagal was in what I call his golden films from Above the Law to Fire Down Below, then came his 100 direct to video films is when he became so crappy.
These actors AIN'T bad. If you give them a good script, character development, the oportunity to improve and in some cases a good pay, they can be excellent. Of course, that also would depend on the actor to give the best of him/her.
"Why send a boy wonder..... to do a man"s job?"
- Jared Leto Joker
Under Siege is a dope classis action film.
A STOPPED clock is right twice a day, not a broken clock.
I personally have never heard your version.
How is a stopped clock right twice day?
If the clock is stopped at 7:15, then it is correct at 7:15 twice aday unless using military time, then it would be correct once a day.
A broken clock is the correct term.
I like Under Siege but it’s wild to me that they got two Oscar nominees, one winner, to act in it with seagal.
That's the only reason it's memorable, lol.
@@Dr.Thirteen-bb1ub well I’m a dude so I still enjoy the fights. His gun handling is pretty atrocious thought lol.
Shia LaBeouf is a hot take because he appeared in great movies like Fury and The Peanut Butter Falcon.
Eagle eye, disturbia still holds up
Amazing video watch mojo and great list, fantastic job.
NO!!!! pls don't ever show THAT Gigli scene without a warning PLS
God, it's like a jumpscare
Gobble gobble
Pure cringe 😬
#1: Sylvester Stallone in Creed.
Yes, he received award nominations for Rocky. But that was back in 1977. It took thirty-nine years for him to be nominated for anything again in 2016.
#2: Vin Diesel in Boiler Room.
Even in his good movies, he can't escape the typecast. So would you believe me if I told you he gave a great performance as a stockbroker? Well, he did.
One good performance from a bad actor in my opinion is Amy Schumer in “Trainwreck”. It is the only film where I can say that she is genuinely funny and delivers a strong performance. And it makes it even more upsetting how the performances she would do afterwards were so underwhelming and showcases how she has been unable to show growth as a comedic actor and just did the same jokes repeatedly into a dead end.
I haven’t seen all her movies, but did see that one, it was hilarious
She almost made Barbie, when it was the early stages of production.
@@fromthehaven94 like she was going to play Barbie?
@@amonrodriguez3518 At one point in the *pre-production process.* This can be looked up on Google.
@@amonrodriguez3518 When it was at a different studio, yes. Thanks to delays and whatnot, Amy left the project.
The title of this WM video is hilarious😄😁
I've heard that Marlon Wayans is scheduled to star in the next Jordan Peele movie. I have a good feeling Requiem For A Dream won't be the only good performance from Wayans, if THAT movie goes well. I think we know by this point that Peele has a strong track record with films like these.
This has to be one of the worst job ever done. Vince Vaughn wedding Crashers old school hello . Marlon Wayans most of these people have made movies that are really great not just one
Just give them something to work with and they'll make it funny no matter what the End-Product will look like
Adam Sandler has been in lots of bad movies since the 90's. Doesn't make him a bad actor.
Another TRAAASH list
Shia LaBeouf a bad actor? Honey Boy, Fury, Pieces of Woman…
Robert Redford, Tom Hardy, Jon Bernthal & Brad Pitt say he’s one of the best actors they’ve worked with. He’s still getting roles from Francis Ford Coppola and Abel Ferrera even after all of his problems.
WatchMojo, do better lol.
Oh yeah, that opening scene in Hustlers... 'nuff said. 😉👍
Adam Sandler isn’t a bad actor, some movies like jack and Jill were pretty awful but most of the time his movies are good, bedtime stories is one of my favorites.
JLo and Adam Sandler surprised the hell out of me. I enjoyed Hustlers. I didn’t enjoy Uncut Gems as much, but I enjoyed Adam’s acting.
A good director can make any actor look 10x better, it's important to remember that.
Or producers and script writers most directors don't got creative freedom like that
You should've added Kristen Stewart in Spencer. As Princess Diana, she played that part perfectly.
WatchMojo is subpar.. entries... or something. Why am I still subscribed...
I would add Owen Wilson in Midnight in Paris. Going back many years, Ann-Margret did not have a particularly stellar acting resume until Mike Nichols directed her in her first Oscar-nominated performance in Carnal Knowledge, after which she continued to get the respect as an actress that she deserved.
To be honest,
I actually liked Hayden Christensen's performance as Anakin Skywalker in Revenge Of The Sith more than Attack Of The Clones.
Sure,
It wasn't much, but at least it was enough.
Especially in the emotional scenes.
Jennifer Lopez’s Ramona in _Hustlers_ was her best role yet.
Liked her better in - out of sight 1998
@@IIDIEI think she changed things when she was in Enough. Like people started to listen to women more when they would accuse their husbands.
Lopez was fantastic in The Cell.
@@IIDIE
Me too.
I thought bad actor meant something different than literally a bad actor.
Vaughn in Cell Block was amazing
Keep trying, Dakota Johnson.
I feel sorry for her
@@bennywark3103 Why? She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth as the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, two actors. I guarantee you her career has been helped tremendously by her mommy's name.
If you can't act, don't.
@@encycl07pedia-ya no one should ever feel sorry for her lol that’s funny. Maybe they didn’t know
@@amonrodriguez3518 Even if you discount her parents, she's being paid millions of dollars to be a mediocre-at-best actress. Do you know how many people are great at their jobs and make less than 10% of what she does? Life's not fair and it's ridiculous to feel sorry for a millionaire whose biggest problem is either paparazzi or trying to promote her bad movies.
Halle Berry in "Monster's Ball." Amazing how she went from a stellar and Oscar-award winning performance like that to starring in something as God-awful as "Catwoman."
All Hayden Christianson had to do to portray Steven Glass was like Anakin Skywalker without the force... which is kind of a sad comment on the real person and precisely why Glass never should have been allowed to be a "reporter"
I feel like most of the people on this list aren’t bad actors, they just do roles that don’t suit them or that just pay bills
A lot of these are good actors. It's just that they've done bad movies, but even then their performances in those bad movies there's still something to take away.
Adam Sandler and Tyler Perry have great talent but way too often choose the low hanging fruit
Ouch. Nah. Even if you hate Sandler, he’s in a league above Tyler Perry. That guy literally churns out poor man’s Wayne bros movies and gets away with it
Adam Sandler is NOT a bad actor. Hes proven it multiple times.
Y’all should do another Top 10 Dragon Ball or Akira Toriyama video for tribute
Adam Sandler isn’t a bad actor, he just doesn’t always feel like trying.
Neither is Shia, he makes you believe he’s not toxic when acting toxic.
Steven Segal was so high, it's funny.
Shia Labeouf and Adam Sandler aren't bad a actors
Some of these actors aren't bad, they just ended up in terrible movies or working with directors who don't know how to, well, direct them.
I like Vince Vaughn and Adam Sandler.
Madonna in A League of Their Own
In what world is Adam Sandler adn Shia Labeouf bad actors? Lert's not confuse likability with acting skill.
Sylvester Stallone in the first Rocky movie.
first Rambo too
and Cop Land
Stallone has made many great roles. Besides Rocky and Rambo we have Demolition Man, Cliffhanger, Copland, Tulsa King, Creed (Golden Globe winner and Oscar nomanie for his part).
I would've added Robert Pattinson. From his Twilight days into The Batman (2022).
Adam Sandler has done a few serious movies and all are good. So imma say the man deserves better.
Although he was in some very successful Movies , John Travolta was regarded as a nothing Actor , until he played Vincent in Pulp Fiction . The Man can Act , who knew ?
It’s funny that Shia LeBouf is on this list because he’s a fantastic actor. He’s been great in every movie I’ve seen him in.
Adam Sandler also did good in “Hustle” and “Leo”.
Pauly Shore in Bio-Dome despite his surfer gimmick wearing thin fast, he was entertaining & funny in this movie.
I thought people found his performance in that movie irritating. Though, I did like him as Bobby in A Goofy Movie. He was even good in the sequel.
If a critic pans a movie, it will probably be pretty good. If they love it, it probably sucks‼️👀👻👀👻👀👻👀
Yeah I have to disagree with you guys on the Sandman. SANDLER RULES
Jessica did look her best in Sin city. That’s the role I’ll always love her in most
Shattered Glass was just a perfect casting for him. I also think that Brendon Fraser is a horrible actor, but he was amazing in School Ties.
None of these are bad actors
I feel “bad actors” should’ve been replaced by something else. Yes they might not win Oscars but for what they do and the money they draw they’re great. Now “bad”
Tommy Lee Jones did a lot of crummy movies before he hit it big with Under Siege.
Error at 4:40... Eternal Sunshine is definitely not from 2020. That would be one hell of a CoVid film. Lol
I don’t feel like Adam Sandler, Vince Vaughan, and Shia Labeouf are bad actors.. Just have had bad movies
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! 3:18 In my opinion Hayden is a good actor. People are just jealous of his acting skills and his once-in-a-lifetime Anakin Skywalker role. 🤣
And I actually liked Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker.
Especially in Revenge Of The Sith.
As well as Darth Vader in Obi-Wan Kenobi.
He and Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi were my only main reasons why I watched that show.
I love Steven Seagal, but I disagree with him being on this list.
Casey Ryback is pretty much the same character that he plays in all his other films of the era.
Requiem for a dream is amazing
A lot of these actors aren't actually bad, it's just most of the time they aren't really trying, or the materials they're working with ain't very good.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Shia LaBeouf said he made all the stuff up about his dad? That his dad was actually a good father to him?
Jessica Alba is NOT a bad actor. She's just been given roles that pigeon hole her into the "sexy woman" stereotype.
I don't think Adam Sandler is a bad actor. He just goes by what the audience wants and is gonna give money which isn't necessarily good films haha
Hey now. I agree most Adam Sandler movies are meh. But he was also really good in Reign Over Me, Punch Drunk Love, Spanglish and the dramatic portions of Click.
Hayden is great actor. He has emotions, passion, depth. He's very good. He's excellent as Anakin. Steven Seagal is great actor too. Under Siege,Niko. Many others. I like him. Shia is also great actor. He was great in Indiana Jones. He's problematic so he wasn't in Dial of Destiny.Shame he had menta problems. Glad he's ok. Good video
Shia Lebeouf, what about Fury?
Shia Labeouf LOL what
Actors whom I cant tolerate are Tyler Perry, Steven Seagal, JLo and Dane Cook.
Vince Vaughn should be the new kingpin in the MCU💀🔥⛹️🤾
Shattered glass is underated
Just here to watch Anakin fan boys say "he just did what George told him to do" or "He uses the same speech patterns as James Earl Jones..." LOL!
WHERE'S TOMMY WISEAU? AN INFAMOUS CULT MOVIE ACTOR FROM THE 2003 CULT CLASSIC "THE ROOM" DID A GREAT PERFORMANCE IN 2017 BIOPIC FILM "THE DISATER ARTIST" FOR HIS CAMEO APPEARANCE & 2023 HORROR-COMEDY FILM "BIG SHARK", LOL! 🦈🌊🎬🎥👍🤣😂
I do not like Steven Seagal, but Under Siege is one of my favorite action movies
It's his biggest hit movie.
@@fromthehaven94 yep
I'm gonna say Florence Pugh in Don't Worry Darling. Most of the movies I have seen her in, her acting has been either mid or garbage at best. When I saw Don't Worry Darling, her acting was excellent for a movie that was pretty good.
Dane Cook did do a good job in that movie, " Dan In Real Life"
Um, how come Chuck Norris and his 1985 movie "Code of Silence" aren't specifically brought up in this video? 😜
Whoa, whoa, whoa! There’s no such thing as a “bad actor”. Just bad material. Bad script, bad plot, bad effects and most of the time, bad writing leads to bad acting. In short, it’s not the actor, it’s the material.
Then again, Steven Seagal has absolutely no excuses for his stuff beyond Under Siege.
Daryl Hannah in "Wall Street" definitely proves that otherwise. The movie is great, but her performance was so hated that even Oliver Stone regretted casting her. I'm also not a big fan of Kevin Costner in "JFK", despite the movie being one of my favorites
You'd really put Shia LaBeouf in this list? He is a very dedicated and versatile actor. In fact a lot of the people in the list shouldn't even be included.
Haden was also good in Life as a house.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind came out in 2004 not 2020 xD.
