The Outsiders was the perfect #1. You did miss Dead Poet's Society from the list though.
The Outsiders is my favorite film of all time.
John Hughes wrote Pretty In Pink but it as well as Some kind of Wonderful was directed by Howard Deutch.
When I saw a clip of *The Outsiders* and saw all the actors in it, I told myself, _I have to see this movie._
Platoon
Charlie Sheen, Tom Berenger, William Dafoe, Forest Whitaker, Johnny Depp, John C McGinley
The Big Chill should be in the top 5 of this list
'Future Star Wars actor' Ewan Mcgregor is both accurate and incredibly insulting!
Suzanne Somer was in American Grafitti as the blond driver.
When you named Cindy Williams, you showed a clip of Penny Marshall.
I remember reading The Outsiders in the 8th grade, probably about 8 years after the film came out. We watched the movie after completing the book and all the girls were hooting and cat-calling during the opening credits because all their heart throbs were in the same cast. And don’t forget that Stevie Wonder wrote the theme song specifically for the movie.
Honorable mentions: Red Dawn (the first one) and The Goonies.
Another sleeper is "Shattered Glass": Heyden Christiansen, Rosario Dawson, Hank Azaria, Chloe Sevigny, Peter Sarsgaard, Steve Zahn, Melanie Lynskey, Luke Kirby
missed Blackhawk Down with Josh Hartnett, Tom Sizemore, Ewan McGregor, Eric Bana, William Fichtner and lesser knowns at the time, Jeremy Piven, Tom Hardy, Orlando Bloom, and honestly a whole bunch more
“Tell Dally, I don’t think he knows.” Breaks my heart every time.
Dead Poets Society was right there with tears in its eyes.
DPS wasnʻt there!!!
@@rkeonifairbanks7087 Hence the tears.
I am surprised "Diner (1982)" was not included on this list: Kevin Bacon, Mickey Rourke, Paul Reiser, Tim Daly. and what about Goonies (1985): Josh Brolin, Sean Astin, Ke Huy Quan, Joe Pantoliano, Martha Plimpton?
Diner should definitely be there!
Seriously? Have you never seen the brilliant movie, *"Raising Arizona"??!!!*
*Nicolas Cage, Holly Hunter, John Goodman, Frances McDormand, Sam McMurray, and Randall Craig Cobb!* All of them went on to have amazing careers. Heck, even M. Emmet Walsh and William Forsythe were in it. I still love that movie so much!!!
It might also be the Coen brothers first film. My memory might be off.
I love the Outsiders is one of my favorite movies Awesome 💯🔥👏🏽
Hamburger Hill (1987), with a cast that included Don Cheadle, Dylan McDermott, Courtney Vance, and Steven Weber
When mentioning Cindy Williams in American Graffiti you showed Penny Marshall…just anFYI
I didn't read The Outsiders, but I saw the movie. Actually, in high school, we had to read S.E. Hinton's Tex, and then we saw the movie, which had starred Matt Dillion. It was one of those coming-of-age stories. St. Elmo's Fire should have been on this list, as it had featured some of the Brat Pack. I noticed that some people had mentioned Stand by Me in the comments. I'm surprised it didn't make the cut. The Graduate is amazing! It's one of Dustin Hoffman's best roles.
Great video, interesting topic.
Wow! Great job Mojo, I didn’t know Amy Pohler was in Fast Times…it almost looks like a completely different move
