Yep. One reason I never believed in climate change is why they focus on carbon dioxide so much? Why they want to cut emissions down so much? It's needed for plants to grow. I worked in hydroponics plantation and without co2 there wouldn't be any production. Cutting emissions down is risking food shortages
We can't just stop oil. We would have to stop repairing roads and heating some homes as well cos byproducts of crude oil refining are asphalt and heating fuels. I think some is used in plastic production too. These people don't have any rationale to support these protests

Having worked all my life and not ever been on a plane for holidays, I'm damned if I'm giving up my upcoming retirement and sitting in a freezing house with no heating or car when I could actually have a little time for myself for the first time and my first holiday overseas before my disability gets too bad. I agree , I've never been on a plane , and never driven a car , I retired 13 yrs ago and will not have these halfwits dictate to me . I'm gonna enjoy the rest of my retirement doing what pleases me , put my heating on when I please and be damned . . Being a product of the 60s we were the ultimate recyclers nothing went to waste . And I have an electric mobility scooter so I'm not all bad lol .

I agree with you apart from not eating animal protein being environmentally friendly. Plant protein is not as nutritious as animal protein and we need dairy for basic development. Vegan products are not biodegradable. We are supposed to be omnivores and our stomachs are demonstrative of that.
