- Councils are leaving anti-social behaviour unchecked, a watchdog has found.
In a report it says it has upheld nearly three-quarters (74%) of the cases it has investigated in the past year - ranging from low-level issues such as dog fouling and inconsiderate parking to more serious sustained harassment and intimidation.
Thomas Skinner says: “Police look like they don’t care.”
Mike Graham replies: “They don’t even look like police anymore.”

When I was a child, cops walked the beat & were allowed to clip you around the ears if they wanted, but we were more afraid of being in trouble with our parents.

I saw a policewoman the other day who looked about 19, like 5'3" and she must have weighed 8 or 9 stone at most, real scary for criminals...
Most of the old bill women I see weight about 30 stone and are about 5 foot....unless bints.....
I fought for four years to get my council to deal with a noisy neighbour who seemed to believe he had the right to blast me out of my flat every day with loud music. After four years of it l gave up and moved. It's how such problems are dealt with. The victim loses his home.

Why would they? Its just a job.
What we need is a chief constable with a backbone to stop all this political correctness at least in the 50’s and the 60’s we had law and order with good old fashioned policing.

Mike debate this …. In order to get the EU to take immigration issue seriously and reach an agreement with the UK, why don’t we take the illegal immigrants (who arrived from the EU) to the Northern Ireland/EU border and push them over it. I believe that the EU would want to talk urgently, if they don’t, keep doing it and save millions each day.
The trouble is we have put certain people on a pedestal.. so you can’t touch them through fear of being accused of things
When the Tories cut beck on community programs close youth clubs cuts to the mental health budget and cuts to policing anti social behaviour is only going to get worse. It’s common sense

Disorder comes from failures to educate, failures to accept that DISCIPLINE has to be part of life otherwise you have chaos , poverty, violence and social dysfunction. Lackadaisical parenting is a social problem that affects all society, and a governance problem. Searching for freedom is a foolish daydream within an urban environment. ..... Policing for profit is a crime against humanity. Policing incompetently is also of no beneficial use to society. Home policing and correcting bad behavior is A PARENTAL DUTY. NAUGHTY KIDS = NAUGHTY HOMES AND FAMILIES. NO EXCUSES, CANT COMPLAIN IF IT IS YOUR OWN KIDS.
