Éliás Péter I always thought the same thing for why Jake was breathing heavy. A forceful, manual disconnect would theoretically put a huge strain on the body and mind, but this makes a lot more of sense. It is Kind of like when you are forcefully woken up while in the middle of a nightmare. That is why doctors tell you to not to wake people who are having night terrors unless it is absolutely necessary to protect them or yourself from harm and, if you must wake them, be EXTREMELY CAREFUL because they won’t have control of their actions when they first wake up. I've been watching a lot of these deleted scenes and a lot of things make sense now. Also notice a lot of things I didn't in the movie. For instance, I know the navi people had four fingers but I just noticed that Jake Sully's avatar body has five fingers like humans. And Trudy and Norm we're actually a couple which makes Trudy's death really tragic. She was the only one in the army that was on the avatars side she fought for the people. Before she died she actually said "Norm, I love you" but we obviously didn't get to experience that in the movie. Another interesting thing I like is I understand why Neytiri really hated humans - while in Grace's school her sister was killed by soldiers. I honestly love all these details I wish they put it in the movie even if it made it 3 hours long. I recommend you to watch all deleted scenes and the movie will make a lot more sense and a lot more interesting. Can't wait for Avatar 2 💙💙
They should have kept this in the movie. It shows so much more why tsu’tey was so angry at jake and it just makes the story flow a lot better like how the Colonel just randomly arrived
I love how Grace gets called buttercup in this scene (5:34) and Kiri gets called buttercup by one of the Avatar soldiers in the way of water. I wish they would've kept some deleted scenes in the first movie, we missed out on a lot of beatiful scenes which explain so much about this world and the connection between Kiri and Grace!
@@agneswales1151 Maybe they cloned him. Or maybe they froze his body and reanimated him. It's the future they got all kind of technology. Or maybe he made the last copy just before the last battle.
Imagine you're in a brutal fight getting your ass kicked badly, then suddenly you wake up in your actual body and you immediately get punched in the face and knocked out. Poor Jake.
The energy of two alpha males fighting is instead addressed in the story through much deeper inner layers , I understand why some of these angles where cut from the film, still a very interesting thing to see play out , but as a whole did not fit the ethos of the story as the audience was aware of the trust and honor tensions clash between Jake and Tsutey ,, it would also hinder the angles of the rest of story development ..the film has more layers of reflection upon addressing the stereotyping of indigenous peoples portrayal in early cinema and this example did not fit the mold very well on that subject ..

Nah it makes sense that the scene was removed. All the urgency that Jake had to tell them what was going on, only having an hour to relay the message, I don't think he would have just accepted a duel in such a crunch of time. Jake's character always cuts to the chase, focuses on the most important thing. He wouldn't have been able to forgive himself for missing an opportunity to get the Navi to leave by accepting a duel that really means nothing when Natyri already chose Jake.
They should have kept the scene of her saying she still chooses Jake over her “future”, think it would have made the heartbreak scene even more emotional plus I can only imagine how BEAUTIFUL they would have made her look because her voice was just to die for and so was the pose she did.
Everything just before the challenge should have been in the movie. Same goes for Trudy announcing the captain’s arrival. I feel like that tiny speech Tsutey gave would have helped solidify the fact the his entire purpose was taken from him as soon as Jake was accepted as one of the people lol
The challenge is something I know James Cameron desperately wanted to keep. That was intense and just so different than anything I’ve ever seen. I bet we’ll see it one of the sequels.
Who else thinks or knows that Neytiri doesn't want to be like her mother she wants to be like her father, she loves flying her ikran and is very brave like him ?
maybe this whole scene didn't need to stay, but when Neytiri doubles down on her choice after being told she can't fulfill her birthright and her life will be wasted, that's potent. It's only an additional minute and it adds so much meaning to their relationship and also so much sting to the upcoming revelation of his purpose there. 10/10 should not have cut that bit.
I totally get cutting the fight out as the cut version was as much as was needed, however I do wish that the human parts with Trudy announcing their arrival, Norm knocking on the link unit as the Samson arrives, as well as the extended end with the team being handcuffed and forced out of Site 26 should have been included as in the following scene it would also explain why Grace is rubbing her wrists.
They totally should’ve kept this in. At 3:00 that move that TsuTey uses against Jake is the same move Jake later uses against the Colonel - it would’ve been such a great callback considering TsuTey’s killed in the battle.
It will be super interesting to see if neytiri ended up actually recieving the psychic powers or if thats why they go to the mangrove tribe (to have access to a psychic)
this scene should have been in. marines train with things called pugil sticks. this would have made all the marines in the audience have a huge smile, especially seeing how jake fight with it the same way you are ment to hold a pugil stick
Man can you imagine getting friendzoned by your intended mate by a demon in a false body and the clan seems to be ok with that

I love the dances they put in there. It's like they combined capoeira and staff fighting techniques.
It really looks like capoeira
I love how someone in here completely forgot Jake was a marine and that Tsu'ey would have kicked his butt. They would have at least been equally matched or close to it maybe.(Like we see here)
I've been watching a lot of these deleted scenes and a lot of things make sense now.
You literally posted this comment under all the deleted scenes lmaoo
The finger thing is important in avatar 2
@@HollandBest.nr1 And the hatred that Neytiri felt for those who killed her sister too, but that ruins the mother-son relationship with her and Spider
@@sarahsarmento2733 she isn't his mother, Jake said they didn't adopt Spider
@@АлександраЗайцева-х5ч but some said that Jake and Neytiri adopted him, the Sully brothers even call him brother
It’s just said Tsu’tey had to die at the end of the movie but frankly he was friend zoned HARD
They should have kept this in the movie. It shows so much more why tsu’tey was so angry at jake and it just makes the story flow a lot better like how the Colonel just randomly arrived
Thank you so much for posting these scenes
"You mated with this woman?'
"OH shit....(was that too loud?)"
“Dopey too.” Took me out 😂😂
I love how Grace gets called buttercup in this scene (5:34) and Kiri gets called buttercup by one of the Avatar soldiers in the way of water. I wish they would've kept some deleted scenes in the first movie, we missed out on a lot of beatiful scenes which explain so much about this world and the connection between Kiri and Grace!
There is a reason what Stephen land colonel is returning to the sequel is because of how badass he was in this movie and such a great actor
But he is already dead in the series?
@@agneswales1151 Maybe they cloned him. Or maybe they froze his body and reanimated him. It's the future they got all kind of technology. He made a copy of his mind every two weeks or something and they can load that mind copy into a new body. So he just doesn't remember the last two weeks of his life. Or maybe he made the last copy just before the last battle.
@@Kinkoyaburi Or maybe simply a twin (The Prestige)
@@Kinkoyaburi or maybe it's actually a fake death. He actually survived the shots simply because his that badass
@@Kinkoyaburi maybe he is brought back to life by an evil Na’vi witch doctor?
I like it because it gives more depth to all the characters featured in it.
Tsute is my favorite character. And lol when Jake is scared of his swinging 😂😂😭
yeah this would have made that scene way cooler, i wish more directors would make alternate cuts for fans
Imagine you're in a brutal fight getting your ass kicked badly, then suddenly you wake up in your actual body and you immediately get punched in the face and knocked out. Poor Jake.
Better choreography than all three new Star Wars combined.
lol no
hurr durr Disney bad
@@coolboy5428 Yes, stfu
@@machirim2805 you said it yourself lol
@@machirim2805 Shut up
I really wish they'd left this scene in
The energy of two alpha males fighting is instead addressed in the story through much deeper inner layers , I understand why some of these angles where cut from the film, still a very interesting thing to see play out , but as a whole did not fit the ethos of the story as the audience was aware of the trust and honor tensions clash between Jake and Tsutey ,, it would also hinder the angles of the rest of story development ..the film has more layers of reflection upon addressing the stereotyping of indigenous peoples portrayal in early cinema and this example did not fit the mold very well on that subject ..
XD Alpha males xD
Allrock123 I agree
Agreed. but I would pay money to see this animated.

Going to share something from native world view in this case in recognition of the Haudenosaune in New York and Canada who are a core matriarchal people, they also have a vital figure in there history an Erie nation or "cat nation" (symbolic cultural identity meaning they are not really in a cat form) women named "Jigonsaseh" "Avatars story reflects from rather deep roots .. ua-cam.com/video/F6EJE92EwAA/v-deo.html
The villain in this film was awesome and perfectly cast :D
Most of these deleted scenes are so good
This fight sequence is cooler then the one in the movie
Nah it makes sense that the scene was removed. All the urgency that Jake had to tell them what was going on, only having an hour to relay the message, I don't think he would have just accepted a duel in such a crunch of time. Jake's character always cuts to the chase, focuses on the most important thing. He wouldn't have been able to forgive himself for missing an opportunity to get the Navi to leave by accepting a duel that really means nothing when Natyri already chose Jake.
When you're the visual effects supervisor and the deadline is in 10mins
Dude...
Comparing this to the movie CATS is blasphemy... :·p
0:12 that always gets me 😂😂😂😂😂
We laugh because it's funny, and we laugh because that phrase is expected from Sigourney Weaver.
Oh shit
😅
that is most honest sounding "oh shit" i ever Heard in a movie
“Jake don't!“
“I accept“
This should have been in the film
These deleted scenes give the characters so much more depth, like Trudy and it build on the relationship between Norm, Grace and Jake a lot more
They should have kept the scene of her saying she still chooses Jake over her “future”, think it would have made the heartbreak scene even more emotional plus I can only imagine how BEAUTIFUL they would have made her look because her voice was just to die for and so was the pose she did.
I actually kinda like this better. It fits with the rage that someone like Tsu'tey would have felt over such a thing
This would have been a badass scene to make it in the extended cut
Aw man. Sucks that they cut this, I really would have liked to see this scene finished.
Just realized that at 3:00, jake reused this move against quarich at the end.
1:51
nobody:
lit nobody:
typical colonel Quaritch: **opens the airlock door** "MASK ON!"
I honestly would prefer this then the scene we got
amazing what a few extra bit of dialogue exchange truly adds to the context of the film
0:50 her father giving the bow would have meant so much more.
Everything just before the challenge should have been in the movie. Same goes for Trudy announcing the captain’s arrival. I feel like that tiny speech Tsutey gave would have helped solidify the fact the his entire purpose was taken from him as soon as Jake was accepted as one of the people lol
I don't know y everytime Grace says oh shit makes me laugh 🤣🤣🤣
much better than the scene chosen for the movie. Shows how skilled the na'vi warriors are.
I just love the way grace like “ oh shit”
The CGI has improved a lot since Avatar 1. OMG 😮
When Neytiri says I choose him she has made her decision and so has Jake
The challenge is something I know James Cameron desperately wanted to keep. That was intense and just so different than anything I’ve ever seen. I bet we’ll see it one of the sequels.
Trudy when no one around:
"I didnt signed up for this shit >:("
Trudy when Quaritch is around:
"Sir yes Sir :'("
Wish they put this in there, that part where Jake falls just before Tsu’tey’s weapon hits him was pretty cool
Explains why Tsu’tey had his nose bleeding when Neytiri defended Jake in the movie.
That's because in the movie Jake punched him. It's not because there was some mistake left for the final cut
The people who say “man betrays whole race just to clap alien cheeks” are just as one dimensional as the hired guns in this movie.
This is how we do it, Earth Style 🌎 4:00
I love Grace's reaction
Who else thinks or knows that Neytiri doesn't want to be like her mother she wants to be like her father, she loves flying her ikran and is very brave like him ?
I was not expecting that kind of animation
It's not a finish product
@@gvndrake Ah! Makes sense! It's still pretty good though.
Imagine watching the 3h Avatar with all of the deleted scenes.
It would be over 3 & a half with everything restored
I just love that they fight for each other
This scene could have been so beautiful. The "I have chosen him" part. Man, what a love.
that challenge is novel and insanely amazing and shame it was replaced by typical fight.
That would be so painfull for tsu tey
maybe this whole scene didn't need to stay, but when Neytiri doubles down on her choice after being told she can't fulfill her birthright and her life will be wasted, that's potent. It's only an additional minute and it adds so much meaning to their relationship and also so much sting to the upcoming revelation of his purpose there. 10/10 should not have cut that bit.
Thanks for all the vdoz..
The deleted scenes make so much more sense
I totally get cutting the fight out as the cut version was as much as was needed, however I do wish that the human parts with Trudy announcing their arrival, Norm knocking on the link unit as the Samson arrives, as well as the extended end with the team being handcuffed and forced out of Site 26 should have been included as in the following scene it would also explain why Grace is rubbing her wrists.
They totally should’ve kept this in. At 3:00 that move that TsuTey uses against Jake is the same move Jake later uses against the Colonel - it would’ve been such a great callback considering TsuTey’s killed in the battle.
honestly, I am a little happy they didnt add the fight scene. It would have changed it all for me.
This is my favorite deleted scene tbh
I always found it interesting and funny they use those metal bracelets you can get at the fair for handcuffs.
It will be super interesting to see if neytiri ended up actually recieving the psychic powers or if thats why they go to the mangrove tribe (to have access to a psychic)
3:05 Okay but that was a very cool takedown
Glad some of this made it in the extended cut
I love it when Trudy calls Miles an asshole 2:00
5:15 tsu tey is so polite saying excluse me
Way better than the originial imo, James, your vision, he needed 6 hours and it would have been perfect!
this scene should have been in. marines train with things called pugil sticks. this would have made all the marines in the audience have a huge smile, especially seeing how jake fight with it the same way you are ment to hold a pugil stick
This scene is very interesting
